It should cost a lot less. If you're going to be a piece of shit hotel charge lower prices. the bed will give you back problems. DO NOT STAY THERE it's only one notch away from being a literal crack house.

• Simon (1/5): if you don't want to stress about whether you will have a place to sleep, don't book this apartment. - We got to our room only because of the neigbours who let us in, and then the guy who (I assume) cleans the appartments, so he knows the codes and let us in to our room. He was very nice and helpful. Restroom was very dirty and when we asked if someone can clean the toilet he did this immedietely, even though it was 12am at night. Host didn't send me the crucial informations how to get to my room. He didn't send me the codes, So at 11pm at night i was waiting for an hour to get to the house. Shuttle cost 20$ and even I asked for it the shuttle didn't come and host didn't answer my calls. Communication was very, very poor. Maybe because it was Saturday, but it was very loud, lots of drunk/ abused people.

• Martin (1/5): Worst stay ever - The host was nice on the phone and accommodated a late check in. The place is a random house (not hotel, hostel, or bed and breakfast) in which some rooms are rented out on booking.com and I believe other rooms are for permanent tenants. It is located in an area that my lyft driver called "not the worst hood, but the hood." My room did not have a window and was very dirty, like the rest of the house. I could barely sleep because people were talking loudly in the house throughout the night (I stayed on a Friday night). I booked the place because it is one of the cheapest in Newark but it is still way too expensive for what is offered.

• Ashley (1/5): The worst stay. They’ll charge you 3 Times for cancelling, worst communication, not clean AT ALL - Terrible communication. The owner never answered the phone & I was outside the door to check in for an hour. They kept knocking on doors and you just can’t sleep here because of noises and door knocking. I cancelled it the same day and they kept charging me 3X.

They prepared the room by 4pm. Toilet was smelly and they cleaned the toilet by 4.30pm. There was no toilet tissue roll . Tissue roll was supplied by 8pm. I called the host several times to confirm the property address as he asked me to meet him at different location. He didn't care to answer my calls and didn't care to text me the property address. When I asked about the airport shuttle, he didn't provide the free airport shuttle. Asked me to take uber to come to different location.

• Nicole (1/5): Würde ich nie wieder buchen! - Nichts Am liebsten würde ich 0 Sterne vergeben. Der Vermieter hatte mir nicht mitgeteilt, dass es in diesem Haus mehrere Wohnungen gibt. Da ich nicht wusste wo ich hin muss, habe ich versucht den Vermieter anzurufen, doch es ist sofort die Mailbox rangegangen. Ich habe dann bei einer der Wohnungen im Haus geklingelt und konnte so erfahren wo ich hin muss. Leider wusste die Person bei der das Zimmer war gar nicht, dass ich komme. Es war alles total dreckig, im Bad waren überall Haare und es gab nichtmal Klopapier. Bis spät in der Nacht wurde laut Fernsehen geschaut und Krach gemacht. Gegen 2 Uhr Nachts ist noch eine Person nach Hause gekommen und es wurde wieder sehr laut. Ich habe mich insgesamt sehr unsicher und sehr unwohl gefühlt. Nie wieder würde ich diese Unterkunft buchen. Fast $80 dafür finde ich sehr frech!!!

• Rosemary (1/5): Absolutely disgusting, filthy, dangerous and air filled with drugs - There was nothing to like it was extremely awful A man was kicked out of the room for me! Still his outline on the bed. Still drugs in the air and his belongings there . Very dirty and in a very dangerous area. It was a multi occupancy house. I had to stay as it was so late at night but slept on my coat. Absolutely the worst place I have ever seen. What are booking . Com doing? Allowing something like this? There should be some standards?

They will send you to a different location than described, make you get there by yourself as they say they don’t provide shuttle bus service anymore, and ultimately they won’t accommodate you in the hotel. They will not open the door for you. There’s no one inside the property. There is no service. I was scammed my 137 CAD, I had to stand outside in a sketchy neighborhood past midnight and the customer service center did not give a refund either. Once again, they do not provide you with a service. You will not get an accommodation. They are scammers who exploit the booking.com’s little to none customer protection policy.

• Tom (1/5): I only stayed there for a few minutes and had to leave due to the poor conditions - This facility was dirty, they had just held a party and I could not stay there due to the terrible conditions. The host was also not receptive so there is nothing to like about the facility The facility is dirty, the host is non-receptive and they seem to have had a party overnight. I hope that my funds could be refunded because after paying, I had to book a different facility to stay.

• Precious (4/5): Dissapointing - Not a nice accomodation. I booked a day ahead. It was at my arrival late at nigjt that the room was cleaned in my presence. I had to wait for the room to be cleaned. The toilet is dirty and no tissue paper. The house is occupied by people who smoke substance. Not a nice experience

• Evie (1/5): Absolutely awful - Absolutely nothing It was in a dangerous neighborhood that felt unsafe to walk around in, even in the middle of the day. The whole room, including the sheets were dirty and covered in stains. The door had clearly been broking through and repaired really badly. The whole building absolutely stunk of weed. The staff were unprofessional and inconsistent in how they dealt with is us, often contradicting eachother. We immediately left this room and had to seek other accommodation. I wish I had taken photos but we honestly felt so unsafe that we left before we could think to. To finish it all off, when we inquired about refunds etc we were ignored completely but the hosts. Absolutely do not come here.

If there was anything I didn’t particularly enjoy, it would be coming in after a night out and having to unlock multiple doors. However, in hindsight—and especially when sober—I actually appreciated the added layers of security.

• David (1/5): The worst experience I have ever had. Requested my money back - I didn’t like anything about this place. It’s not an actual apartment. It’s a room in a duplex building housing ex convicts The oven could work. The refrigerator could work. They could advertise it correctly as just s as room and not show images of other properties

Unprofessional management, false advertising, & zero regard for guest comfort - This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at a “Stay.” The so called “Property Manager,” Andrew, was unprofessional, accepting under the table payments for weeks until I started raising concerns. The listing advertised an entire apartment, but in reality, it was just a single room. The conditions were completely unacceptable, mice running around, a filthy kitchen, and a refrigerator overflowing with garbage. The other “Property Manager,” Brianna, blasted music late at night while high, making it impossible to get any rest. To make matters worse, they turned off the heat and hot water. The so called common area was non existent, as Brianna had friends and even her child sleeping on the floor and couch. People were up cooking in the middle of the night, showing zero consideration for others. The bathroom was just as disgusting! Hair in the sink, kids’ toys in the tub, it was an absolute nightmare. And judging by the dismissive responses to other reviews, it’s clear the owners don’t care. This place is cheap for a reason! Do yourself a favor and book a proper Airbnb instead.

• Samuel (1/5): Great improvement is needed - WIFI was pretty nice , i also requested to have a table in my room and they gave me a table, thank you for that.I also requested to have a heater and i was given the heater, thank you, that was outstanding I got to the property and called the owner who, was refered to another lady who came to open for me to my suprise on the bed and on the floor there were used tissues with looked like there was pupu, i asked the lady what was that and she just took out the tissues and put it in the bin. I looked at the bedspread, there were yellow fresh liquid stains and i opened the sheets there were several hairs i told the lady to change all my linen and she brought some linen which where not ironed and the new sheets where also smelly..I really gave up and spent the 6 nights in that condition. The fridge was soo dirty. Honestly, i read the reviews and just said, i think after all these reviews, the place must have been improved but alas i had a 6 days in hell. To the Manager, please take reviews seriusly despite the affordability , the place needs to be clean, sheets needs to be cleaned , ironed and not recycled because i bet, the onesi received were taken from the other room which was checked out. As long as these guys are not going to change i recommend you , this is not the right place to be
