• Jim Ann (4/5): Great Location - Stay Elsewhere - The location Ever felt invited but unwelcome in someone’s home? At G1 Merchant City Glasgow it feels like our comfort was not important, only that the “check did not bounce.” Overall a cramped space, particularly the bathroom and one bedroom that was too small for a suitcase. Thoughtful touches like a shower caddy, clothes hooks in the bathroom and tiny bedroom, welcome package, etc. are sadly lacking. What we got was lots of messages about respecting the place, chemical room fresheners that made us sick, stingy kitchen supplies with garage sale pots and pans , and walls with mismatched paint as they could not be bothered to paint the whole wall. Merchant City is a great way to explore Glasgow, free art galleries, fantastic murals, great restaurants, music, walkable, and close to subways. Great area to explore Glasgow, but stay elsewhere.

• Alajmi (9/5): - Clean, good location which is near to city center and nicely furnished The only basket bin was in the kitchen even the bathroom didn’t have a basket bin! Being in the ground floor made it very noisy especially in the weekends
• Tracey (8/5): Lovely flat. Very good position in central Glasgow. - Very central, clean, easy to find and access. Only thing we could raise is that the duvet in smaller room was a bit thin for the colder months.

• Michal (10/5): - The accommodation is nice, with a great price-to-performance ratio. It's located right in the city center, with everything within reach. The place is quiet, the room furnishings are pleasant, heating can be adjusted as needed, and the kitchen is well equipped. Nothing to complain about, everything was as expected.

• Rae (10/5): Perfect for a city break - The location was absolutely perfect for a short city break. The flat had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean.
• Lara (10/5): Highly recommended place! - The property was just as described, very nice place. Close to many cafes, shops, and public transport stops. Communication with the hosts was very easy. At some point I received a message that was clearly a scam and the hosts quickly replied to explain and confirm my booking. The place had all essential items, even coffee and tea in the kitchen. The only bad thing was that some of the plates/mugs/cutlery in the cupboards were very dirty. I imagine some previous guests left them like that, so perhaps the hosts need to check their cupboards before new guests come in.
• fabienne (9/5): - Très bon emplacement. Les deux gares, le centre et la cathédrale sont accessibles à pied. Appartement très confortable dans un quartier sympa et calme. L'hôte répond gentiment par mail dès qu'il y a une question. Il n'y avait pas de décapsuleur pour les bouteilles de bière. 😀
• Shonagh (9/5): Everything was great for what we wanted it for. A mother & daughter catch up & shopping. - Mainly security, location & comfort, everything was great Only the bathroom being a bit small. The communal entrance hall let it down a bit but didn’t affect our stay.

Location was great, close to the Cathedral, and many eateries and central Glasglow, also close to supermarkets for eating in. Host was excellent and communicated well and was also very accommodating when it came with check in. Nothing of note.

• Peter (9/5): Cosy and comfortable flat in a great location. - Great location. The flat was modern and clean, main bed was very comfortable as were the sofas. Kitchen was small but well equipped. Although ground floor the street side windows are a fair bit higher, the garden/car park area well kept and gated off from the street. Shower was good although the bathroom is very compact. Considering how close the flat is to the bars and restaurants of Merchant City, street noise drops right off in the evening.Very glad that we booked this flat. Minor thing, stairs to the flat have seen betters days, toilet is right up against the shower and mattress on the single bed not as good as the nain bed.

• Sharon (8/5): Very comfortable stay in the heart of Glasgow. - Lovely centrally located two bedroom flat in the heart of Glasgow. The host accomodated our request for an early check in which was much appreciated after an early flight. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were small but had all necessities. The host was very responsive to all messages. Clear instructions were given for check in Some on street noise from the main bedroom. The quality of the pots and pans in the kitchen could be improved.

• Heather (9/5): A quiet little gem at the heart of the merchant city. - Cosy ground floor flat (only a few steps up) in a quiet and secure gated complex at the edge of central Glasgow. Level walk to George Square. Wishing 5 minutes walk of several bus stops. Kitchen and bathroom rather compact.

Exceptionally clean and freshly decorated with everything needed for a weekend stay for 3 adults. Highly recommended. Ambiguous detail regarding parking availability. Be advised that all spaces are privately owned / rented out and may not display any bollards or numbers. I was fortunate with a very understanding person whose space I had parked in.
