• Sandra (7/5): Prima verblijf gehad. - Locatie lag centraal om het zuiden van Sicilië te bezoeken. Veel bezienswaardigheden op korte afstand. Het zwembad was top. Het huis is goed met prima sanitair. Keukenvoorzieningen wat basic. Het bed was redelijk Spartaans. Gastheer zeer behulpzaam en staat gelijk voor je klaar. Het bed was Spartaans, nogal hard.

Certaines casseroles méritent d’être changées car usées. Malheureusement certains locataires nourrissent les chats du quartier qui marquent leurs territoires.

• Claudia (9/5): Very beautiful place to stay :) - We really enjoyed staying at this beautiful place! Everything is near for beautiful walks either at the beach or in the city. Parking is easy infront of the house. The property and rooms are very clean and have everything you need! Salvatore was very friendly and we felt home straight away :) we would love to come back one day :) Everything’s perfect !
• Corrado (5/5): Non ci torneremmo - La vicinanza al mare. Abbiamo affittato l’intera struttura per 1 notte a gennaio, 4 camere per 8 persone. Purtroppo faceva freddo e in una camera la pompa di calore non funzionava. Il proprietario quindi ci ha proposto di non utilizzare quella camera e di spostare 2 persone sul divano letto di un’altra camera (senza ricevere alcun indennizzo nonostante la richiesta). 1 appartamento puzzava e i sanitari del bagno erano sporchi. Peccato viste le ottime recensioni e le potenzialità della struttura!

• Maria (8/5): Fijn appartement met zwembad en aardige host, je voelt je snel thuis! - Salvatore is een hele aardige host en zorgt ervoor dat je je thuis voelt! Avola is een leuke plek om te verblijven en het appartement ligt op loopafstand van restaurants en de zee. Het zwembad is fijn (wel koud). Het bed was niet zo comfortabel (dun matras met kuil) en het warme water in de douche raakte snel op.

• Jonas (10/5): Wonderful and good value! - Very quiet and nice place! 4 apartments! No noise from neighbours or roads. Clean and new facilities, with very good value for money. We rented 2 bikes from our lovely host Salvadore, he fixed child seat and helmets for us! The kitchen got what’s needed! Salvadore was very helpfull and kind with WhatsApp, both before and during our stay! The place is a short walk from the city with a lot of fine restaurants, and the beach nearby is also wonderful. We was 6 hours late because of delayed flight and that was no problem! We definitely will recommend this place! Some cats at the property but if you feed them at the back they will be gone for some time.

Si percepisce subito che è stata ideata e realizzata con amore, ingegno e una cura incredibile per ogni dettaglio, tutto è armonioso, accogliente e pensato per far sentire gli ospiti a proprio agio. La posizione è perfetta, l’atmosfera rilassante e ogni angolo trasmette passione e autenticità. Ma ciò che rende il soggiorno davvero speciale è Salvatore stesso: una persona gentile, disponibile e sinceramente appassionata all’arte dell’ospitalità. • Jordan (7/5): - Salvatore est très gentil et répond à tout moment aux question ! Nous avons aimé l'emplacement proche de la mer a 50m et a 30 minutes de Syracuse et 1h de l'aéroport de Catane ! Nous entendions un peu les locataires des appartements à côté qui se couchaient très tard ! Le matelas du lit était trop fin et avec les mémoires des formes des anciens locataires. La lumière qui éclaire la piscine le soir et la nuit ainsi que la lumière du jour le matin rentrent dans l'appartement car il n'y a que des petits stores sur les fenêtres.
• Ulla (10/5): Fint, rent, funktionellt vid poolen och nära till strand. - Rent och funktionellt, bokstavligen ett par steg från den fina poolen. Ägaren var hjälpsam och har verkligen tänkt igenom vad man kan behöva (gillade t ex att ha mikrovågsugn). Söta fina katter som höll sällskap om man önskade så. Ett par minuters promenad till stranden och restaurangerna vid gamla hamnen. En pärla och skulle definitivt komma tillbaka. Fanns inget att klaga på.

• Anna (10/5): - Salvatore è stato sin da subito super disponibile e gentile. La casa oltre ad essere a poca distanza dal mare ha una piscina sempre pulita e curata, e sono a disposizione ombrelloni e sedie da poter utilizzare in spiaggia. Posto tranquillo e riservato, adatto anche alle famiglie con bimbi piccoli grazie alla presenza della lavatrice (in comune con gli altri appartamenti) ed in un ampio spazio dove poter stendere. Ci torneremo sicuramente.
• Nicola (10/5): Vacanza da 110 con lode - Abbiamo soggiornato a Perladelmare dal 10 al 24 agosto. Non riesco a trovare nulla che non sia andato bene, a partire dall’ accoglienza di Salvatore. La struttura è bellissima, giardino curatissimo, piscina a disposizione di 4 stanze quindi vivibilissima, pulizia eccellente. Ma torniamo a Salvatore, veniva tutti i giorni ad assicurarsi che fosse tutto a posto, sempre premuroso nei confronti di noi ospiti, è davvero il plus ultra di quello che è il gioiello che si è costruito con le sue stesse mani. Ultimo ma non ultimo, anche i cani (con noi viaggiava la nostra Nina) sono i benvenuti. Torneremo sicuramente, abbiamo lasciato il cuore a Perladelmare anche grazie a Salvatore che ci ha coccolato e fatto sentire a casa. Era tutto perfetto.
• Daniela (8/5): Gradevole 😌 - Salvatore Gentile e disponibile. La struttura rispecchia a pieno la descrizione che è stata fatta. La piscina con uso solo delle 4 camere è ideale per rilassarsi. L’immobile è nuovo, arredo minimale ma Funzionale.
• Barbara (10/5): - Schon zum zweiten Mal dort – gerne wieder! Alles wie erwartet: gepflegte Anlage, einzelne Teile wurden erneuert, Standard bleibt erhalten. Super Lage, keine Mängel, stimmiges Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Liebe Katzen, toller Pool, engagierter Gastgeber. Mein Lieblingsort für den Urlaub – hier passt einfach alles Ich erhole mich dort wirklich – alles stimmt. alles tip-top!

• Matthias (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and nice place. The location is top, near to the beach. Rooms are equiped with everything you need. Pool was refreshing and a good place to hang around. And now to the best part, if you like cats there was a cute gang around always happy to see you :)
• Bartlomiej (10/5): Perla della Sicilia - My wife and I stayed for five nights at Perla del Mare in Avola, and it truly is a hidden gem. The villa is situated in a quiet area, within walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The rooms are fully equipped with everything you might need, and they are clean and well-maintained. The pool and the entire property are beautifully cared for, and you can see how much effort and heart Salvadore, the owner, has put into it. He is a very kind, helpful, and wonderful Sicilian host. There is absolutely nothing I could complain about. It was my best stay in Sicily, and with Booking.com so far. It should be rated 11 out of 10!

• Diane (9/5): Very enjoyable and relaxing stay :) - The apartments are very comfortable with front and back access to the pool area from where you can see both sunrise and sunset. They are located in a very quiet street with no noise. The communal washing machine and freezer were very convenient as was the parking area right in front of the apartments. Currently (Mar 2024) there are road works in the street leading up to the apartments so it is a bit tricky to get to them. otherwise all was great.
• Tighisti (10/5): Salvare the host made our holiday really great - Pearl del mare: It's an ideal location, all restaurants, cafes, shops within reach, located a few metres from the sea, wonderful place for holiday destination, fully equipped, clean, all facilities working in a perfect condition and neatly kept, peace and quite area for a restful holiday. The owner Mr Salvatore goes to extra length to make you happy, gave us enough information of the local areas and drove us to the beautiful coastal town of Syracuse, I will recommend for sure who ever wants to visit Avola and it's surroundings in Sicily. It is well located close to bar restaurant beach but in the same time a bit hidden in quite are of residential villas.

Salvatore is a fantastic host, and for those without a car helpful with lifts - Nice quiet area but very close to beach and a cluster of bars and restaurants, and the ruins of the tune factory for glorious sunsets. The property is a stone's throw from a lovely sandy beach with others equally as nice in the area. Good restaurants also close. Avola is well situated for visiting Syrecuse, Noto and Ragusa We cannot recommend this place highly enough it really is that good. Ten out of Ten 🇮🇹🍕🍷⛱️😎 Nothing really. From a personal point of view we found driving around interesting should we say but would not put us off visiting again. There is a train station in Avola which is very useful.
