The room was clean and the bed fairly comfortable. The shower was useless and the shower curtain redundant. Would have made less mess having a bath in the sink. Would recommend investing in some better bathroom fixtures. The internet didn’t connect from the kitchen to the bed and it was less than 8 feet away. The kitchen didn’t have a chopping board or a tea towel and smelt of fish when we opened the cupboard. Despite thoroughly washing the pots and pans before use, our dinner (spaghetti and salad) tasted of old cooked fish oil and we had to throw it away. My vegan partner was not impressed… so maybe some silver, non-absorbent kitchen equipment too!

• Maria del Mar (8/5): Lo recomiendo mucho - Las instalaciones están muy bien. Todo muy limpio y todo perfecto. En cuanto al trato con Luca, mejor imposible. Nos facilitó mucho el chekin, fue muy fácil ponernos en contacto con él cada vez que necesitamos algo y además nos permitió dejar guardado el equipaje allí hasta la hora en que salía nuestro vuelo. Por poner algo, la ducha es un poco pequeña y cuesta moverte dentro.

• Camelia (7/5): Good space for two persons. - The property has good space for two people and is conveniently located within walking distance of street food and the town. The shower was very small and difficult to use properly, and there was significant noise from outside. We didn’t realise kitchen was in the bedroom. Considering these issues, the property did not fully meet expectations for the price paid.

• lucile (5/5): Correct mais mériterait quelques améliorations. - Hôte réactif et gentil. Proche de la gare train et bus. A 10-15 min à pied du centre historique. Lieu très mal insonorisé, au niveau fenêtre on a l’impression de vivre sur le trottoir, au niveau interne on entend les pas des voisins et les canalisations et tout ce qui ce passe sur le pallier. Odeur de canalisation en permanence dans la salle de bain. Dommage qu’il n’y ai pas au moins des rideaux car tout le monde peut nous voir dans la rue si on ne ferme pas les volets. Concernant la localisation, le quartier n’inspire, aucune confiance et est insalubre. Il nous a été décrit par les locaux comme étant très mal fréquenté. Nous n’avons eu aucun soucis heureusement mais ce n’était pas rassurant.

Ho apprezzato molto il fatto che mi avessero dato disponibilità di entrare qualche ora prima visto che l'appartamento era vuoto. Davvero molto gentile. Purtroppo il letto è scomodo, la strada molto rumorosa e le vecchie finisce fanno entrare tutto il rumore. La zona, vicina alla stazione, non è di certo delle più raccomandabili. Può essere comodo come appoggio, ma bisogna essere consapevoli di questi aspetti.

• bruna (5/5): - L'emplacement est très centrale. Le studio était propre. Le propriétaire réactif par téléphone, mais pas sur place donc dans l'impossibilité d'apporter une solution. L'appartement ne correspond pas complètement au descriptif sur les points suivants : il n'a pas de vue sur un site d'intérêt, c'est un raz-de-chaussé avec une grande fenetre ancienne sur une rue très bruyante, il n'était pas insonorisé, il n'y avait pas de bouilloire, il n'y avait pas de produits pour la douche. La salle de bain est minuscule, la douche exiguë, il manquait le bouton poussoir de la chasse d'eau. Le propriétaire a été à l'écoute de mes remarques, mais étant à l'étranger n'a pas pu intérvenir. Il nous a fait apporter un petit flacon de bain douche et il nous a fait trouver de l'eau dans le frigo à notre arrivée, ce qui est appréciable.

• LauraZt. (8/5): Gute Unterkunft für einen Kurztrip in Palermo - Gute, hilfreiche Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber. Self-Check- In ist gut organisiert. Das Zimmer ist mit Holzelementen charmant aufgewertet. Praktisch eingerichtet. Coole, alte Fenstertüren. Uns haben die flachen, weichen Kissen gut gefallen (Geschmackssache). Parken kann man in den umliegenden Straßen wenn man Glück hat (kostenfrei). Es ist ein interessantes Altbaugebäude, daher hat es natürlich einige Besonderheiten: das Bad bzw die Dusche sind speziell, wirklich klein. Leider auch kaum Wasserdruck. Für wenige Tage in Ordnung, nur nicht so komfortabel. Die Matratze war etwas durchgelegen. Die Straße ist recht laut. Für uns war es in Ordnung, da wir Stadtlärm gewöhnt sind. Wer hier jedoch empfindlich ist hat es ggf. Schwerer, da die Fenster nicht richtig abdichten.

Luca was really friendly via messages and let us know about the electricity and water outage in advance. Unfortunately we did not meet in person. Thanks ! The flat was really dark since we couldn't open the blinds outside being on the first floor and die to the heat. Also I'm not sure if that was even possible to do. Would have been nice to have some natural light as well. The bathroom was smelly after taking a shower. It was also small and outdated. I think for the price we paid it could be a bit better, but overall it was a good comfortable stay.

• Maria (8/5): Very good - I had a great stay! The place was very clean and centrally located—just a short walk to the Ballarò market, which was a big plus. The bed was super comfortable, and if you're driving, there's the added bonus of free parking just outside. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy since it’s on a busy street, but overall it was a really convenient and pleasant stay.

Our host was very responsive and even replaced the coffee maker on day one. The bed was comfy and the kitchen was well equipped with coffee sugar sat and olive oil. We loved the ample free parking as well. The shower is quite small and the street was noisy at night from garbage collecting. Other than that, we loved our stay

• Karol (8/5): A cozy apartment for a couple, located in the (noisy) central part of the city. - We traveled as a pair and the apartment is perfectly suitable for two people. It’s nicely decorated and located almost in the city center, within walking distance of the main promenade and other attractions in Palermo. Because of this, you should be prepared for some noise coming from outside. I’d recommend using earplugs at night. The host is very helpful and responsive. The shower cabin is very small. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it might be uncomfortable for larger (heavier) people. The kitchen could be slightly better equipped, for example, an additional sharp knife for cutting vegetables, more dishes, an extra pot (there’s only one), an additional trash bag, etc.

• Gordei (9/5): Superb - A nice small apartment with everything you need. All clean and good-looking. The full kitchen is there. Located in a historical building with high sealings. Close to the old town, market and fair-price go-out places. Yes, the shower cabin is tiny, but it wasn't a big problem. The apartment is located in the local neighborhood, but the main and single disadvantage I see is that every time going to the city center one has to pass the back side of the market area, which is always dirty and chaotic.

• Helga (10/5): Good accommodation - The location is good, it is close to the city centre and sightseeings, but not so crowded, like to city centre. Parking is also possible in front of the house, which was important to us. It was a bit noisy, but I think it is mostly happening with Palermo apartments, as the city is crowded in general.
• Adrian (5/5): Passable - Quite close by walk to city center. Free parking on the street. A friendly and responsive host who provided good instructions on WhatsApp. This location in Palermo was not nice; it was situated in a very dirty district with streets full of garbage and many dubious immigrants. We didn't feel safe walking around the property. It was not pleasant to take a proper shower. The shower was very small and narrow, with synthetic curtains that didn’t help at all. Water from the shower flooded the bathroom floor, even reaching the bedroom. Additionally, it was noisy, and there was a general lack of comfort.
• Ka (10/5): Spacious, clean accommodation with excellent customer service that made our stay fantastic! - The property manager, Luca, went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. We accidentally lost the room keys at the beach on our last night, and he came to our rescue after his working day, saving us from being stranded. THANK YOU! Self check-in was easily arranged and worked well, especially since our flight was delayed and we arrived very late at night. Luca provided detailed instructions and help since day 1 and was super responsive on WhatsApp throughout our stay, giving us directions and recommendations for DELICIOUS restaurants (trust him!). There’s a pizza place opposite the apartment that operates only at night—great prices and delicious food, highly underrated! Location-wise, it’s about a 10-15 minute walk to Palermo Central Station (for trains and buses), so if you’re using Palermo as a base to travel to Cefalù or Catania like we did, it’s very convenient. The room was very spacious and clean—not just the large living area, but even the cutlery and glasses were spotless! Our Deluxe Studio was on the ground floor, so the traffic noise could be a bit loud, but it didn’t bother us most of the time. You’ll also need to pass through (short walk) some older streets (quite run down) to reach the main attractions in town. I got used to it and would recommend sticking to the main streets on Google Maps.

• Andriana (8/5): Very good - The appartment is great with a small cute balcony. It is located around 20 min walk from quattro canti and 10-15 min from the central bus station. It was clean and had everything we needed. The check in and the communication were perfect. And they were always available if we needed something. As we stayed 6 days it got dirty and we had nothing to clean the floor. Otherwise it was great.

The block is not the best, lots of trash and ambulance is near by and thru thin walls you can hear a lot of noise, but it’s kinda normal for Italian walls and windows, streets are also pretty loud.

Although the bathroom was renovated and really clean, the bathtub was really small. Also, it's worth mentioning that my wife and I are taller than 6'2''.

Bathroom cabin is only 50cm wide so it's impossible to shower with it closed. Going to the center of the city takes you through a not so nice neighborhood so be wary.
