• NMB43 (10/5): Ponsonby gem - Kerry was a very welcoming host. Access was easy, breakfast was amazing and Kerrys home was a beautiful, spotless, space. The bedroom had a super comfy bed with a large ensuite (and fabulous shower!). Thankyou for the chats Kerry - and the dropoff, which was most appreciated!
• Wongdy (10/5): Enjoyable stay in prime Auckland location - Kerry was a most gracious host and easy to communicate with. Bed was comfortable and shower was fantastic. A very lavish continental breakfast was served. Great location within easy walking distance to Ponsonby road restaurants and a relaxing 40 min scenic walk into the city. Convenient to bus stop and free street parking for your vehicle. If I was picky the only issue was not having tea and coffee freely available when we returned from an outing as we were not invited to help ourselves to tea / coffee in the kitchen.. I think Kerry took this feedback on board for future guests.

• Frans (8/5): Aangenaam en de host was prettig en behulpzaam - De locatie en het bed Ons was niet duidelijk uit de beschrijving welke zaken op de kamer waren en welke in de algemene ruimte. Zo hadden wij verwacht dat er een koelkastje op de kamer zou zijn en een waterkoker. Maar dat was niet zo.
• Ronja (10/5): Fantastic stay with an amazing host! - Kerry was the perfect host. He is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home. He lives in a beautifully renovated, modern townhouse with very tasteful decor. The room is spacious, includes an en-suite bathroom, and was spotlessly clean. The location is fantastic and very central; it’s only a few minutes' walk to Ponsonby Road, where you’ll find plenty of nice shops and restaurants. Kerry is exceptionally knowledgeable and always went above and beyond to provide the best local tips for a perfect day, especially when it came to choosing the right restaurants! Breakfast was outstanding and offered everything you could wish for: bread, homemade jams and compotes, fresh fruit, muesli, and more. We can highly recommend this stay to everyone!

• Holly (10/5): Most amazing experience! - What a beautiful place to stay! The house is an excellent location, right near multiple bus stops that can get you anywhere around the city, and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The room was lovely; very homely and comfortable with an attached bathroom. Our space felt private, and we weren't disturbed in anyway. Breakfast was on the table waiting for us each day, and was it lovely. Such variety! It felt really special to go downstairs each day and have breakfast ready to be picked. The absolute highlight of our stay however was Kerry. Kerry was the most incredible host. I was unsure about the process of staying in someone's house at first, until I met Kerry and he made us feel right at home. He gave us ideas of places to visit and places to eat. We tend to keep to ourselves but we found ourselves wanting to go and just chat with him. He was so kind, caring, and considerate of us and our needs. He took a genuine interest in us and our travels, and we just really enjoyed our time with him. We stayed for 5 nights and by the end it felt like we had gained a wonderful friend. We will absolutely be back and will reccomend Kerry's place to anyone we know. Thank you for everything!
• Elina (10/5): Kerry provided us with useful tips about life in New Zealand and great locations to visit. We had a great time! Thank yo - Generous, funny and knowledgeable host. Our room and the common space was clean, spacious and well-styled. Breakfast was good and healthy. Kerry was also kind enough to provide gluten free options. Location in Ponsonby was good, there was also a bus stop a stone's throw away.

• Dario (10/5): - Kerry is an amazing host. We've stayed for a few days to explore Auckland. Very generous host, clean rooms and great breakfast! Its located near Ponsonby, which is ideal as a starting point to explore the city. Definitely recommended if you want to get a good peek into the Auckland life.
• Maurice (10/5): An excellent stay with a wonderfully warm and welcoming host - The Omahanui really lived up to its name --- a place of pleasure and peace! The location --- on a quiet street --- was excellent, close to many restaurants and a 3-minute walk to a bus stop from where one could go just about anywhere in the city. The home was newly renovated, immaculate, and tastefully decorated with meaningful art and items from around the world; our bedroom with ensuite bath was lovely. A generous continental breakfast that included several types of fruits and cereals was ready for us each morning, accompanied by music. Wi-fi was free and worked well. Suggestions were always welcome, and it seemed that nothing was too much to ask. The best part of our stay, though, was our warm and friendly host! Kerry was wonderfully knowledgeable, flexible, kind, and helpful. He shared recommendations for local eateries and tips for getting around on public transportation. He took us with him to the Saturday market and a couple of other spots. He and a friend spent more than an hour one evening investigating a likely airline snafu. During our four-day stay, we had many deep, lengthy conversations about our numerous shared interests. We felt that we had made a friend! If we're ever back in Auckland, we'll be sure to stay with Kerry again. Nothing could have been better!

• Panych (10/5): Lovely room and host in a perfect, Ponsonby location in Auckland. - Amazing! We didn’t know that we were staying with our host but it was great! He was friendly and informative. It was the perfect place to start our trip. The location was great, right by Ponsonby road where there are many restaurants and cafes. Our room was lovely and the breakfast was a very hearty continental breakfast, more than what we expected. Highly recommend Omahanui City Fringe Guesthouse.

The room is upstairs with a comfortable king bed and a very nice en suite bathroom. Kerry provided a delicious continental breakfast each morning. It is a short walk of 3 blocks to get to the nearest bus stop. Not applicable.
• Andrea (10/5): I could not have picked a better place to stay at - As a a solo female traveler after a very long flight I found this place perfect and everything about the stay was phenomenal. The neighborhood felt very safe and quiet, the breakfast was very tasty and had a nice variety of options, the CBD was in walking distance, and Kerry, the host, offered help and suggestions any time I needed it. The name really matches the accommodations! The place felt so welcoming that it was hard to leave it behind

We were instantly made to feel at ease and nothing was any trouble including a light breakfast of good quality. It was ready and waiting for us on our departure even though this was at 5.30am. The house was very clean and tidy and well furnished with exceptional quality bed linen The property is well located and just a twenty minute walk into the city There was nothing to complain about in any way

We made our multi-day booking at the last minute and he graciously accommodated us with remote access upon our arrival. The room was comfortable, the bed comfy, the water pressure in the shower very good and a nice big modern bathroom. His home is beautiful and Kerry is so pleasant and makes you feel very welcome. Breakfast was tasty and Wi-Fi excellent. On street parking was readily available and we could easily walk to many restaurants, a supermarket, post office, etc. We would definitely recommend this accommodation. Nothing, this place was great!

• Mollymoomoo (10/5): Beautiful room in great location - Kerry was a very welcoming host who made us feel right at home. He had lots of tips and recommendations and we even shared a meal together. The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and immaculate. We could walk into town in around 25 minutes and buses are available, if preferred. The immediate area had shops and restaurants to suit any taste. We would highly recommend Kerry and would stay again if we were ever lucky enough to return. Nothing!
• Milan (10/5): Exceptional - My partner and I had a wonderful, comfortable time with Kerry in his inclusive, rainbow-friendly homestay. The place is located centrally in Ponsonby, yet is off the main streets, in a quiet, secure residential neighourhood, which has easy on-street parking. We found the room and home to be very comfortable, immaculately clean and beautifully furnished. We were in town to attend several Pride events and found Kerry to be a wonderful host, with great tips for those new to the city. The man knows his eateries, be sure to follow up on his recommendations! Thanks Kerry for a lovely stay, See you soon.

• Martine (9/5): My stay in Auckland, Omahanui - too short - Warm welcome and atmosphere. Good location with shops, restaurants and good connections to the city center. Secure, newly renovated with modern equipment and nice decoration. Booking did not give the number in the street. The seaside is close to the accommodation but the so-called beaches are not beaches or are private ones.
