• лора (10/5): - The house was very cozy, there was everything we needed. The balcony and garden were very nice. There were many small details with a thought for comfort. Location was good, close to Sanctuary of the great Gods and to Chora Area was very peaceful, with the typical goats and sheep in the morning. There was a tavern in walking distance (7 mins) if you decide to skip cooking. ...not sure... i liked the house. Wasps and hornets are all around the island, so you should be quick with the food, especially with meat and sweets.
• Martin (10/5): - The house is in a very quiet village of Paleopoli, 10mins drive from the main (and only) port on the island - Kamariotissa. It has everything you need - well equipped kitchen, large fridge with a freezer, washing machine. There is also an outdoor shower (don't worry, there is an indoor too) which is absolutely great in the summer, we used it almost daily. In the garden there are apples, pears, plums and pomegranate - if you visit during the season you can try them out. Plenty of hammocks too so if you travel with kids they won't (or it least shouldn't) fight over them. Within walking distance (5mins) you'll find the Archaeological Museum of Samothraki where you can read about the history of the island. You can also see an exact replica of the world famous Nike of Samotraki, the original has been taken away many years ago. Giorgos is a great host, responds very quickly to any questions you might have.
