- derek (7/5): Very nice appartment but possessive unfriendly owner - Excellent location as described. 1. There is a nightclub directly under the property and another to the side with loud music thumping through the bedroom on Friday and Saturday night up until 3 am.
2. Very rude owner! Our ex neighbours traveled from Exmouth to see us for the day and came to see our apartment in the morning. Key left in the door lock while we showed them round because it is difficult to remove and you have turn the key to shut the door as it doesn’t fit the frame.
Owner arrived and proceeded to tell me off in front of our friends as she wasn’t happy that I’d left the key in the open door - she was actually taking a picture of my crime on her mobile.
Next, she spotted I had left the sash window open and began to tell me off in front of them about that. I pointed out the window only opened approx five inches as it had secuirity block in the sash frame to stop it being opened further .Plus the temperature was in the 30’s with no other ventilation.
3. Tennis mad wife wanted to watch it on tv. The picture kept freezing for a minute or two so I had moved the portable aerial from the floor to sit on the window cill - that definitely improved it. The owner again told me off for moving it and argued that she’d never had a problem.
4. Finally. Until this trip to Swanage we have travelled throughout the Caribbean and Indian Ocean and there NEVER enough clothes and trouser hangers so we allay pack more than a dozen plus trouser hangers. Our case was Packed with plenty of both types but I had mixed them with the owners. She arrived 30 minutes after the pre arranged and contacted check out time. I asked her which were her hangers and she practically claimed the whole lot. Then admitted that two were mine. She was out of court on this.
- Sam (8/5): Well located, modern, and clean - The location of the flat is unbelievable. Liz was very helpful, and has set up the place perfectly to make the most out of the views the flat has. The flat is well equipped and works well. The flat is directly above a bar that sometimes has live music. We visited during Swanage folk festival and so the bar had live music late into the night and loud visitors even later. We were fortunately prepared and slept with earplugs, but if you don’t sleep with earplugs or are very noise sensitive then I would maybe consider elsewhere. This is also dependent on the days you choose to stay, weekdays would likely be fine.

- Susan (10/5): Perfect few days meeting with family but also chilling out. - Excellent location, lovely views from the apartment. The host, Liz, is just so lovely and accommodating. The perfect host, she went out of her way for me. The toilet paper was too thin!!
- Josephine (10/5): There was sun, sea and elegant surroundings: I had a wonderful time. - Beautiful, airy and spotless! The view is stunning and absolutely fascinating. You can watch the sea & sky changing through the day, and see the boats come and go. The property was absolutely perfect for me.
- Devlin (10/5): - The apartment was spacious and very clean with brilliant views. We ate out, so we never used the kitchen, which was well equipped.
The location was great opposite the beach with restaurants and shops close by.
We were met at the apartment by Liz, who was helpful carrying our cases in.
Liz also was so helpful when on leaving. We found our car had a flat battery.

- Geert (5/5): Geen aanrader - Goede uitvalbasis voor het South West Coast Pad. De badkamer, te weinig handdoeken voor een midweek (2). Geen shampoo, zeep, geen ventilatie, slechte verlichting, kortom , aan renovatie toe.
Slechte wifi, interieur zeer stijlloos, prijs, kwaliteit niet ok.

- Zen (9/5): Swanage sea-view apartment. - It is a lovely, spacious apartment with a fabulous sea view, very convenient for the town and sea- front. The high ceilings and windows that could be left open made it cool in the heat.
The lounge seating was comfortable and the kitchen was well fitted out with everything you needed for self- catering. Comfortable bed and great shower/bathroom.
Week nights were quiet but there was noise on the Friday as the nightclub below was open until 2am.
Liz was very welcoming and met us, as arranged, to collect the keys. Everything went very smoothly.
There is limited free parking for residents in front of the apartment where we were lucky enough to get a space.
All in all a great place to stay. The free WiFi was non existent - we were never able to connect.

- Jacinta (10/5): Beautiful sea views and stunning apartment in centre of Swanage - This is a lovely bright apartment with fantastic sea views across the bay to the white cliffs of old Harry’s Rocks and the old pier. Clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated, in a fantastic central location, close to the beach, pier, shops and restaurants as well as the coastal path. Nothing. We had a great time!

- Alan (10/5): No need to watch television here! - The views made me say 'Wow' every time I walked into the lounge which was large and airy. The location was perfect for restaurants and shops. Liz, the owner was so pleasant and helpful...even carrying our luggage because when we arrived we couldn't park outside. She kept in touch during the week to make sure everything was OK. I liked EVERYTHING about the apartment. The sofas were so comfortable, we had breakfast looking at a different view from the sofas. The flat was spotlessly clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable.

- Craig (9/5): Superb - The apartment is right by the sea and the views were great. It is also well located for everything you need, your right in the heart of Swanage The WiFi, is only a 4g system, and not really strong enough. Signal kept dropping

Was alittle noisy outside at night due to nearby pub & club, but only on Fri & Sat. Earplugs provided & worked great. Would definitely stay here again.

- Nicola (3/5): Be aware the apartment is above a NIGHT CLUB - (which is not stated in the information) - The apartment has a lovely view and is well equipped, modern and clean. The owner is very pleasant, approachable and responds quickly to any contact. The apartment is directly above a NIGHT CLUB. This was ok on nights that it did not open (Monday and Tuesday) but on our last night (a Wednesday) it was open and the noise in the apartment was completely unbearable. I can only begin to imagine what it would be like at the weekend!! The club has a terrace that is right under the bedroom window. The floor of the apartment shuck with the base of the music, the screaming and shouting from the terrace was intolerable (even with the windows closed). It was impossible to sleep and the noise continued until well after the club closed at 3am. In fact it finally went quiet enough to sleep at 4.30am.
