Perfect for what we wanted and convenient enough to get around to the nearby villages - Host met us and she was lovely by showing us around and assuring that we were comfortable. We travelled with a person in a wheelchair and this was important as we needed to ensure her comfort. It was perfect for one person who wanted to have a run in the morning as there is a Run/walk track on the property and she said it was fabulous. nothing

• Alexandra (10/5): Idyllic & Blissful 🤍 - What a treat! The pics looked amazing and although we knew what to expect - upon arrival we were blown away by the large, spacious home and garage!!! Everything was impressive! The welcoming staff, the cleanliness & comfort of the house, the tiny visitors in our garden (tortoises) to the friendly farm animals & delicious breakfast at the Groeneweide Restaurant (a hop, skip & jump from the house). Kiepersol is in all honesty one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at! Would definitely stay there again. Thank you!

• Herman (10/5): Cosy Farm Stay with Parkrun at Your Doorstep - We had such a lovely stay! From the very first chat with the owner, everything felt welcoming and easy. The beds were nice and firm (not those soft, saggy ones where you feel like you’re sinking into a boat), and the place was super clean and tidy. My son absolutely loved all the farm animals roaming around — goats, sheep, chickens, and even a donkey in the camp. The unit itself was peaceful and quiet, just what we needed to get away from the city for a bit. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook comfortably. On Saturday night a cold front rolled in with lots of rain, but the fireplace kept us warm and cosy — such a winner! And if you’re a Parkrunner, honestly, you can’t beat this spot. The parkrun starts right on the farm — you can basically roll out of bed and straight into the starting line! Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

• Sally (10/5): Fabulous in every way possible! - The location and setting were just fantastic 🤩🎉 Loved all the farm animals, gorgeous mountains right on your doorstep and beautiful view of the ocean from the farm 🥰 Lonnie and Mathilda were absolutely wonderful 👍 The accommodation is stunning and exactly like the pictures. The towels and bed linen were out of this world incredible 💕 Absolutely everything you need and more in the house. Equipment and furnishings elegant, comfortable, modern, clean and just perfect all round. We'll definitely be going back there again, none of us wanted to leave after a blissful weekends stay! ♥️ The fact we had to leave and return home at the end of a fantastic weekend 🙃

• Amanda (10/5): Hidden Gem! - We were fortunate enough to get a last minute booking. What a gem of a place. The children 3 and 1, had so much fun running around and feeding the animals. Freedom for children. The restaurant makes the most delicious homemade bread. The staff were ALL friendly and so accommodating to children. This may have been a last minute booking, but we will be back!!!

• Gailey (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely everything was perfect. Modern, clean, well-equipped and has everything. The hosts were great and we enjoyed privacy and access to explore the farm. We were welcomed by the cutest goats roaming free. We went as a couple, but it would have been perfect for another couple or two kids to join. Make sure to do the hike around the farm (beginner, no experience, wear sunscreen and sunhat) and pop in at the nursery and restaurant too. There are some critters, but it is expected on a working farm on the mountainside. If you're not afraid of a few bugs, you'll be fine.

The guesthouse is very new, furnished beautifully, cosy and very clean. We grilled every night and had a great night sleep. Additionally the restaurant in front gives a great option for delicious breakfast or afternoon cake, or both ;) -

• Jean (10/5): Relax, relax relax. - Great place to relax. Kids love the farm animals. Zara the goat wanted to come home with us. The house has everything you need. The fireplace inside is cozy and great for those winter nights. We will be back.
