Guest Reviews
- Aleksandra (10/5): Very comfortable and nice we would like to back there in the future. - Everything was very good. N/A
- Nils (9/5): - The hosts were very responsive and provided all information much in advance. Any time again
- Karen (10/5): -
- shelley (8/5): - Apartment was lovely, had everything we needed.
Unfortunately had a beebing smoke alarm, but wendy and Mark rang us back, and helped get it to shut up for the night! I missed the info on the stairs, it was up two flights!
- Michael (8/5): - Location was great and the flat was perfect for what we needed. Good comms from Wendy - would book again.
- Lucie Lou (8/5): Beautiful location, cosy little top floor flat. - The most beautiful location, Rock Beach, down the road is stunning and a really nice walk to and from.
The property has lovely views, and I captured some breathtaking sunsets. It was lovely to watch the cows from the kitchen window walk down between fields in the morning. Flat was cosy in the evenings and nice and airy during the day.
We had great weather, so it worked perfectly. Highly recommend Looe Bay as a day out too - 1hr away from this location. Fish and chips are extortionately priced.
- Debbie (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable apartment, great location and dog friendly. Communication via the owner was really good and access was simple.
We will definitely return in the future. Nothing at all
- Catherine (9/5): Great apartment for our 3 night stay in Rock - Conveniently located, quiet, secure, well equipped, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed. Good communications from the manager although we’d didn’t need to contact her after arrival. Our stay was at new year so weather was quite cold and the apartment felt cold the first night. We learned how to switch the heating back on when it went off presumably overriding the timer. The laminate floors were very cold underfoot, which I remembered from a previous stay so I was glad I brought my bedroom slippers! So we were able to make ourselves comfortable. Only other downside was that the allocated parking space was under a big tree which meant our car was covered in bird droppings each morning.
- Jakub (10/5): A wonderful and relaxing stay in a beautiful, well-equipped property that provided everything we needed for a perfect ge - We loved the spacious and comfortable layout of the property. The house was very clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect, offering a peaceful environment while still being close to local attractions.
- Agnieszka (9/5): Would definitely recommend and visit again. - The flat was very cosy, clean, kitchen fully equipped with all you might need, nice neighbours, location was amazing and communication with Wendy and as excellent. Would benefit in upgrading bedroom to king size bed as there is enough space and it would make the sleeping more comfortable.
- Rebecca (10/5): No whinges from the teenagers about this accommodation. - Compact (IKEA should ask for tips!) loft accommodation with everything a family of four might require for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Although two of the beds were converted sofas, my 6’1” son slept well.
Parking was available on-site and the Rock- Padstow ferry, Polzeath Beach and St. Enedoc church could all be reached within 10 min.
We LOVED staying here. Nothing, although the stairs might be a problem for visitors with mobility issues.
- Barry (7/5): Convenient spacious 2nd floor flat for touring in the area - We enjoyed the spaciousness of the flat, that it was well equipped, and had a washing machine (washer/drier) in the shower room. Hard floors throughout, with rugs. Dedicated off-road parking space. Views over the surrounding countryside. The shower enclosure is needlessly tiny - I couldn't bend down in it without bashing something. The standard-sized double bed was comfortable enough but VERY creaky, and could easily have been larger given the size of the room. The programmable electric panel heating was difficult to use. Could do with an airer to dry towels, hand washing, etc., and/or towel rails for towels in use. No towels provided.
