• Marie (7/5): Billigt, ok til prisen, fantastisk beliggenhed - Fantastisk beliggenhed langt fra byen , ikke helt isoleret, men beskyttet i dal med naboer, smuk natur og vandre-muligheder . Fordi vejret var så godt, var vi mest i hytten for at sove, det fungerede den fint til, og der var også mulighed for at lave mad. Der var problemer med afløbslugt, men ejeren var meget hjælpsom og kom forbi for at ordne det. Vi savnede en ovn eller en brødrister.
• Anna (7/5): Wszystko ok. - Parking pod samym domkiem, duża przestrzeń w środku. Pralka wspomniana w ofercie była w innym domku i za opłatą, można by było o tym napisać w ofercie.
• Katherine (1/5): Could not stay due to bad accommodation, very poor service - The general area is beautiful, but the cabin is set some way back from the lake, and orientated so you can't see the lake from any windows unless you go on the terrace. We could not stay here because the state of the accommodation was very poor. It was obvious the place had not been cleaned since the last guests left: food on the table, old meat in the fridge, plates etc left on the worktop and dishwasher, full unemptied bin which was smelling very badly, floor dirty, uncleaned bathroom, evidence of beds being slept in. There was another very unpleasant smell in the cabin, possibly sewage. There is no effort to provide any necessities: no toilet roll, washing liquid, bin bags, or towels/t-towels or linen. The cabin is in an unfinished state, that is not apparent from the photos: no architrave on doorways, holes in the external and internal boarding. We tried to contact the owner but a neighbour said he was away. We messaged but got no reply, and had to book alternative accommodation. The following day, when we were still booked in for 2 nights, someone was in the cabin, presumably the owner, with multiple black bags outside (see photo attached). Communication with the owner had been poor before we came to Norway: the day we were leaving I had to phone him from overseas to ask how we would get the keys, and he was curt and unfriendly. Because of his manner, we did not approach him in the cabin, not wanting conflict on our holiday. We have stayed in booking.com accommodations numerous times over the years with wonderful experiences, and always left positive and accurate reviews. This is such a disappointment that it was completely unhygienic and not suitable for staying in. Additionally, the owner has refused to respond to our many messages asking him to refund our stay, and has refused to refund us through booking.com representatives requesting him to do so. It appears the owner is only interested in our money and not providing any quality of stay at all.
• Frank (10/5): Ein Traum - Wo soll ich anfangen? Eine Hütte für einen schmalen Taler mitten in der schönsten Umgebung. Die Hütte würde ich immer wieder buchen.

• Frederique (7/5): Knusse, complete hut in mooi dal met zicht op het meer. - De plek in een rustig dal met zicht op het meer Eikesdalsvatnet en de hut die best compleet is. Klein maar fijn. -
• Egons (8/5): Superb location, premium kitchen, option to charge EV in slow mode - Premium kitchen, great tools, everything stationary is superb. Stunning views. Great location. Nothing is available that needs replenishment - no toilet paper, no kitchen towels, no bed linen, etc. I was later told that this is absolutely normal in Norway.
• Marta (3/5): El dueño no se porto debidamente - Las vistas Al llegar al alojamiento hubo una confusión con otro huésped y parecía que la casa se habia reservado dos veces en las mismas fechas. El anfitrión tardo media hora en contestar al teléfono, y solo despues de contactar con booking se puso en contacto con nosotros. El dueño intento engañarme y hacerme creer que habia reservado solo una habitación de la casa. Esto no es posible, ya que al hacer la reserva booking te dice que la casa la reservas entera para ti, no es posible reservar por dormitorios. El dueño intento engañarme para intentar que compartiera la casa con otra familia. Pretendia que tres personas (las de mi reserva) compartieran una habitación pequeña con dos camas individuales y la otra familia (dos adultos y dos niños) se quedaran con otra habitación de las mismas características. En vez de intentar buscar otro alojamiento como primera opción para la otra familia, intento primero engañarnos y luego convercernos para que abandonáramos la cabaña. Explique que la reserva la habia realizado y pagado en marzo, meses antes que la otra familia y que booking me habia informado que no me correspondía a mi arreglar este error. Al final se descubrió que la otra familia habia reservado la cabaña en septiembre y no en julio. Sin embargo me gustaria presentar una queja formal contra el propietario de este establecimiento ya que su solución al problema fue intentar engañarnos. Considero también que las condiciones del alojamiento eran malas. El alojamiento no se encontraba limpio, y no tenia utensilios básicos de limpieza (como jabón o bayetas) ni tampoco básicos de primera necesidad como papel higiénico en el baño. Los muebles de la parte de arriba estaban con polvo y no se avisa que la cabaña esta al lado de una fosa séptica, por lo que el olor a excremento de vaca es algo inevitable. Teniendo en cuenta el calor que ha hecho estos dias en Noruega, al tener abiertas las ventanas olía toda la casa a estiércol. Dicha fosa séptica no esta señalizada debidamente.
• severine (9/5): Très agréable dans un cadre magnifique - Bien équipé et rapport qualité prix. Logement très propre et environnement très agréable Nous imaginions le logement plus isolé et proche du lac d après les photos.. mais cela n était pas non plus dérangeant.
• Shikha (3/5): Poor - Location was very nice. There were no toilet paper, handwash or towels available at the cabin. No response from the host when I messaged them. we had to run early morning to get the basic essentials ourselves as we checked in late in the earlier night. The booking.com page also did not have any mention of it whatsoever.
