• Kristel (10/5): Cadre charmant et emplacement idéal - Très beau site avec tout le charme de l’ancien et le confort moderne. À 2 pas de la plage, des restaurants et commerces, il est idéalement situé. Son jardin tout autour préserve le calme. Propriétaires très sympathiques.

Bakery and the excellent Fredis restaurant just across the road. Wonderful communal kitchen/living room area for us to enjoy our breakfast in (not provided by the hotel, but knew this) and to hang out in the evening to play some Uno. Very happy we stayed in Himare and the host was super welcoming. The room was wonderfully decorated and minor things thought of such as emergency toothbrush and paste. Nothing

• Michaela Cabrera (9/5): Chill out vibes in this lovely house, perfectly located near the beach - Perfect place to chill out and relax. Spacious room and stylish interiors in the common areas. Well equipped kitchen. Yoga lessons morning and early evening. Three minute walk to the beach, and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Host is super approachable and helpful. Common kitchen tends to be crowded during dinner time. Perhaps more cooking stations could be good. A small broom or portable vacuum cleaner for the room could be nice, as floor was easily dirtied by sand from the beach.

• Xhoana (10/5): Cozy, clean, central, and hosted wonderfully! - Such a cozy and spotless place! The host was fantastic and the location in Himare is right in the center, everything within walking distance. The only minor issue was some morning noise since the room was next to the kitchen.

• Marnie Otto (10/5): Wonderful sanctuary in Himare. One of a kind place!!! - Wonderful oasis in the heart of Himare. Tastefully appointed, lovely rooms and common spaces. It was like staying at someones home. And a bonus of yoga both morning and night on site. I wish is could've stayed for a month. Welcoming host, chill vibe, everything close by. I will be back!! Don't miss this place. that i did not have more days at the lovely inn.

• Flavie (8/5): Emplacement idéal avec parking intérieur - L'emplacement était très bien avec une place de parking intérieur ce qui est un gros avantage à Himare, la décoration de la chambre était très sympa, c'était très propre et les lits étaient confortables La salle de bain n'est pas très bien équipée, la douche fuit, les miroirs sont minuscules, un plus grand miroir se situe dans l'entrée mais il n'y a pas d' éclairage et le sèche cheveux fonctionne mal On ne pouvait pas se connecter au wifi facilement L'emplacement est effectivement un peu difficile à trouver

• Ariel Ben zikri (10/5): - это одно из лучших мест для ночевки в Албании. хозяева дома супер гостиприимные и всегда спешат помочь . комната с двойной кроватью на "галерее" и 2 крватями на 1 этаже. . деревянная лестница. все чисто . отдельно есть дворик с общей кухней, которая просто супер оборудована и очень удобная. апартаменты находятся в 3 минутах от моря, при эхтом в тихом закрытом дворике с садом. есть парковка, что прям очень удобно! советую это место от всего сердца. мы чувствовали себя как у родствеников.

The room was comfortable with airconditioning, good bed, spacious room. The host was responsive. There is morning and evening yoga at the property for which was a lovely addition. The shower head holder was broken and not fixed during our stay, was slightly inconvenient during our stay.

• Jadetron (9/5): Fantastic location and lovely accommodation. - We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was amazing — just a short walk to the esplanade and main beach, with plenty of restaurants and activities nearby. The accommodation itself was lovely, the bed very comfortable, and the host was friendly and welcoming. Having free parking on-site was a big plus. The only minor downside was finding the place initially — it’s down a narrow driveway that can sometimes be blocked by locals visiting the general store. There are actually two entrances though, and we think the one near the hospital might be easier to navigate. Overall, a great spot to relax and enjoy Himarë!

• Katja (9/5): Superb - Beautiful rooms, patio and other common areas. Good, firm mattress, for a good night sleep. Excellent location. The wall between the two rooms that we used was not very sound proof. We had some trouble finding the place, because it was already evening and dark on the small street where the entrance to the house is located. Navigation might take you the wrong way into the oneway street.
• Grace (6/5): Pleasant - The location was really close to the beach and the main restaurant area. The shared kitchen was nice. It was a little hard to find round the back of some other properties. There is no reception area so there were no staff around to pay. There were mosquitos in the room. The bathroom was fine but fairly basic, there was no fan so it stayed steamy for a while after.

Whether you're looking to relax by the sea or explore the vibrant local scene, Militiko’s prime location makes it easy to enjoy the best of both worlds. It's the ideal spot for convenience, comfort, and a great experience all around! On the first night, our room was unfortunately visited by a number of small red ants. While the owner promptly took care of the situation, the ants made another appearance the following day. It’s something to be aware of, though the management did their best to address it.

• Saltion (7/5): Enjoyable stay overall - The location was good, and it was mostly quiet. Well the bathroom for one wasn't as I expected it to be. The water pressure was low and at first there wasn't any warm water. Another thing was the parking. It wasn't the owners fault but there was a lack of positioning of the vehicles close the gates which made parking impossible. There was a lack of order in this front.

• Esin (10/5): Fantastic stay 😍 - We can say this is the most amazing place to stay in Himare. We stayed as a family (including our dog). Their pet-friendly policy made us very comfortable. There are areas in the garden where you can sit and have a great time. The rooms are spacious and airy. There is a communal kitchen. It’s a place that makes you feel as comfortable as if you were at home. The beach is very close. It’s a place we would want to come back to again ❤️ -

Some more detailed directions on booking.com would be useful as Google Maps don’t take you to the right place
