Guest Reviews

- Welton (10/5): -
- Lewis (10/5): Very peaceful! - Very modern, very good amenities Nothing !
- Kaitlyn (9/5): stayed for a weekend away, amazing place. - Loved the bed, so comfy, sofa was great. good location and great heating in the cold. Nothing informational given to us.
- Amber (10/5): -
- Sarah (5/5): Mediocre - Nice layout. Clean site Had to make own bed. Overhanging trees banged on metal roof all night. Arrived too late at night to report
- stevie (10/5): -
- Leeanne (9/5): An excellent place to stay. - The location of the property was excellent to Bishop Burton College. It was such an easy process to stay there. The location, the cleanliness, the staff, the onsite bar area.
- Antony (8/5): Good location especially if you have a dog. Comfortable and friendly camp site. - 2nd time we stayed there so brough extra coffee mugs, bread knife and plates with us as only two of each provided. We know the location hence why we booked this. Good dog walking around and nice and peaceful. 1st time we stayed we were able to drive and park next to the cabin. This time we had to park in the car park not too far from the cabin but meant we had to walk several times to the cabin to unload our stuff. Grass had been cut so grass cutting stuck to shoes. Could do with providing extra crockery glasses and utensils.
- Kerry (10/5): Cosy and warm - The cabin was perfect for our needs. Beautifully decorated and cosy Nothing comes to mind
- Antony (10/5): Excellent weekend in a delightful setting -

- Alexandra (10/5): We would love to come back :-) - WOW!!! We are thrilled and can absolutely recommend this accommodation! Clean, comfortable, cosy and yet very modern.
Pure relaxation thanks to the very quiet location, yet close to beautiful Beverly.
- Aremel (8/5): A quiet respite from the world. - A quiet location on the edge of a quiet village - just what we wanted.
Live music on the Friday evening was enjoyable. TV reception was awful. Not a big issue for our stay but I suspect many other visitors would find it problematical.
- Helen (10/5): Fabulous find - Had private bathroom facilities, location and extremely friendly staff
- Maggie (8/5): We stayed for 2 nights in April.we ħmmm my - It was beautifully clean and well appointed. All of the staff on the property are lovely and so helpful.
We hope that they won’t put up too many Pods that they lose the quiet nature of the site where older adults and families with young children can enjoy their holidays in peace. The one downside was that the TV produces 1 pretty ropey channel and one that pixelates ALL of the time! When I asked the next morning the chap said that they had no WiFi or TV until they got the dishes put up, and they hope that will be this year!
- Sharon (8/5): Ideal location very clean and enjoyable - Requires clothes hangers and possibly a it more clothes storage
In the bathroom required shelving or a bathroom cabinet
Not enough cups we had two mugs only
Parking and access to the lodge
- Adrian (9/5): Superb -

- Charlie (10/5): Cosy, warm, and friendly - We really annoyed our stay here. It was super warm and comfortable. We had everything we needed for just the one night we stayed. The shower was so nice. They even had Christmas decorations out which was a lovely touch. Nothing We loved it. We will be going back
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Very homely comfy bed very nice to be in will definitely stay again the guy on reception was friendly and really nice to talk to thank you
- Ian (9/5): Superb - Clean and warm The weather
- Karen (10/5): Good value and perfect for us. - Defo worth a try. The on site pub area looked fun but we were out with friends in Bev. Bit muddy as there was a storm. Some stepping stones to lodge when they have finished the grounds would be nice. Still an on going project. Lovely setting.
- Dilara (10/5): We had a magical time in the log cabin:) - Everything! It was so cosy and warm inside and we had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable too. We wish we could’ve stayed for longer! Nothing, it was perfect!
- Kate (5/5): If accommodation was finished ie roof secured and other issues addressed we would possibly return - Friendly host. Clean accommodation. Great location for what we needed pet friendly. Site bar open. Paid for three guests but only bedding provided for 2. Only 2 drinking glasses provided so we couldn’t all have a drink at the same time. Parking across the field so struggled due to mobility problems and mud as heavy rain. Roof of accommodation not secured so poor sleep due to noise of roof lifting throughout night. (Owner aware when pointed out so surprised it was offered as accommodation as not good)
- Ian (10/5): Very modern and comfortable and quiet. Great for short stays. I. E Wotk trios - Very clean. Warm. And comfortable for my work trip.
Staff very helpful. Would highly recommend.
Great value for money. Cannot fault the place. A little difficult to locate and signage to indicate . Could be better perhaps

- Louise (9/5): Excellent - We recently enjoyed a 2 night stay at a charming wooden log cabin, and it was nothing short of delightful. The cabin was incredibly comfortable, cosy, and warm, providing the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Everything was spotlessly clean with a beautiful interior that made us feel right at home. The space was ample for our family of four, offering a spacious environment for the kids to play and for us to relax.
The location was ideal, nestled in a picturesque setting with a lovely pub just down the road and another on-site for convenience. The owners were welcoming and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable with their hospitality.
While we loved every moment, our only minor feedback would be the need for more cups and plates to accommodate four people. However, this small detail did not detract from our overall wonderful experience. We highly recommend this log cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful and charming getaway.
- Agáta (8/5): Very good - Everything was great, the lodge was very clean and well-equipped. Perfect place to stay during a road trip. A bit of a surprise to learn that you should bring your own bed sheets etc if you’re a group and not just a pair. But the staff was really helpful and provided a sleeping bag and extra towels.
- Jonathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harrison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -

- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional - So clean and although still work going on you wouldn’t have noticed:)
- Emma (10/5): Lovely rural getaway - We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at Cherry Burton Leisure Park. The outdoor space was amazing for children, and the cabin was perfect. Clean and cosy, everything was really new and fresh. It was a lovely little escape for our family. We were even able to order fish and chips from a delivery site for dinner and sit on the benches outside to eat. Thank you - we loved our stay!
- Clare (10/5): Exceptional - We loved everything about our stay. The location is perfect, with easy access to the coast or the beautiful town of Beverley. It's a very quiet park which is exactly what we were looking for. The staff are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. We will certainly be back for another visit very soon. Would definitely recommend it!! We don't have any negatives.

- Mike (8/5): Nice quiet little camp site - Owner very friendly and welcoming, the setting was lovely ,watching wild rabbits scampering about in the grass outside, plenty of parking outside the chalet, and good location, within a few mins walk of Cherry Burton village, and a 10 min drive into Beverley. Had to make own beds, and no microwave, otherwise great.
- Tracey (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean comfortable bed shower fantastic staff could not do enough for you definitely be back again maybe for longer thankyou 😀
- Caroline (9/5): Lovely comfort stay with the family - N/a I think the area wasn't finished off, so I am sure it will be even better on completion
- Bethany (10/5): Who knew you could find paradise in Hull - So peaceful and unique, booked as was having work done on my house and wanted to be out of the mayhem for a few days and was close to where I was working, would definitely stay again. Nothing to not like

- Paulina (9/5): Will book again . -
- Hales (10/5): Brilliant place - The accommodation Nothing
- Steph (8/5): Fab lodge, lovely owners, peaceful when I was there, just the odd teething issue. - It was only the first week under new ownership and there was a distinct lack of kit in the kitchenette, heating up a previously made pasta meal in a frying pan was a new adventure!
- Goodall (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about this place was great . Went to races great location only 5 mins in a taxi . Great value for money would definitely book again . Shower you didn't want to get out of . Not any dislikes . I would just say a microwave in there would have been great
- Keith (10/5): Great place to stay - Great place to stay very clean and quiet would definitely be staying there when in the area again Nothing
- Kayleigh (10/5): Excellent! - It's a lovely little property, the smell of wood when you walk in is beautiful, lovely scenery and exactly what I needed for my 2 night stay. Nothing
- Duncan (8/5): Very good - Relaxing feeling. No Tea or Coffee in lodge, also no toilet paper, had to buy some!
