Guest Reviews
- Samuel (9/5): Great location , very good value, clean and comfortable - nice there was no stand up shower, rather shower in a bath with no curtain
- Filmon (10/5): -
- Sara (8/5): It was sufficient, and I feel safe here. I am actually booking for a second night, but I’m having difficulty through the - It was adequate. Nothing fancy very simple. The kitchen area was tidy, but not clean. However, I realize this is due to guest just not cleaning up after themselves mostly.
- Mazahir (4/5): -
- Tv (6/5): -
- Whitaker (4/5): - Close to Brixton arena and Brixton station which was good as I was here for a concert.
The property itself was okay, bed was comfy and was overall clean. The lock for the bedroom was a little jammed and it took me a while to get into my room. No mirror in the bedroom (that I could find), it didn’t bother me too much but worth mentioning.
- Dinah (4/5): Challenging - Bed was clean and comfortable Very poor instructions. Was given wrong house number and wrong street name in my booking confirmation so spent 45 minutes trying to find it at night.
- Paul (8/5): -

- John (2/5): I was staying just 1 night after a concert in Brixton Academy and only used it to crash out, I wouldn’t stay here again. - It was in a good location for Brixton Academy and High St. There were a lot of stains on the bed divan, no remote control for the TV and it smelled awful, the communal toilet door lock was pretty useless which was a bit unnerving.
- Dan (7/5): Good -
- Mathew (7/5): Good -
- Madeleine (7/5): Good - I couldn't find it at first so I had to ask the host about it (my emails didn't update but I got everything on there...), he was very helpful and I found it straight away then. The bed was very comfy and everything was clean. The downside was that as it was a Saturday, there were a few drunk people around but they weren't there too long.
Downside was that the corner of the room didn't look great, think there was a water leak there?
Good place and Brixton was very nice to walk around.
- David (3/5): Just sort the defects out and they’d have a great place to stay. - Location There was water dripping through the ceiling from the upstairs kitchen which made the floor wet. And signs of water damage in the room.
The shower needs a new shower hose and riser bar. The place was clean and tidy but overall a little run down just needs some attention to detail. But would stay again if these defects were dealt with.
- Blagdon72 (4/5): Disappointing after staying in other accommodation of similar cost.. - The bedding was clean The address on booking. Com is incorrect,
Having to climb 3 flights of stairs for toilet or shower,
Being told I'm in room 1 and non of the rooms having numbers on the doors.
Only getting instructions half hour before check in because I asked for them.
The little window on front door smashed, didn't give good impossible.
- Shivadeep (4/5): Disappointing -
- David (1/5): Welcome to hell - If I could give it a negative marking, I would Key for front door didn't work
Door into apartment was chain locked when I arrived. Only that someone was awake then I would have been sleeping outside.
Lock to my bedroom was busted.
Stain on bedsheets.
Window lock in hall was broken
Unable to lock my door from inside
No toilet, only a sink and shower
Lock for front door is broken.
Prison camp in north Korea would have been better
- Stephen (1/5): There is nothing to write home about. Wasted money. - Nothing Everything
- Robert (1/5): Bad - Nothing
- Emma (9/5): The host was fantastic. Very helpful when phone to ask for help with getting to the accommodation. It was clean and the -
- Liam (9/5): Great - Comfy bed and good location. Nothing
- T (7/5): Good - Value for money
- Valerie (3/5): If you’re not too bothered about all other amenities apart from having a comfy bed, then this is fine for price. - The room itself was decent, clean. Wrong address advertised. A different address was given upon instructions. Quite difficult to maneuver the keys through the doors that I had to contact the owner a several times.
The room itself was clean. There was only teabag as complimentary. The mug and bowls provided were dirty and not cleaned.
There was a safety hazard on one edge of the stairs, obvious sign the metal screw had come loose. Kitchen floor was all wet, another safety hazard.
- Sergey (1/5): Bad - Nothing, was terrible Almost everything
- Domenico (8/5): Very good -
- Mitchell (7/5): Good -
- Koby8505 (8/5): Very good -
- James (1/5): Bad - Smell cigarette
- John (5/5): Passable - Address was difficult to find with the information given. Key safe was defective and key retrieval was delayed. General cleanliness was not great, and the stairs carpet was badly stained. No toilet paper in the bathroom. Grotty plumbing fixtures. The fire alarm made intermittent, slightly annoying beeps
- David (6/5): You get what you pay. If you want to pay less, you’ll have to accept some aspects. The location, even though it’s safe, - It is simple, organized, clean and convenient. Wi-Fi was not working, at least for me, despite the owner instructions.
Sharing an apartment without the property manager overseeing it can be difficult for some people.
- Tony (5/5): Passable -
