- Beth (10/5): - Very quiet. Cozy bed. Great location. Needs a microwave & glasses.

- Jared (8/5): Great location, very homie feel and quiet. - The feel and look of the guesthouse. It didn’t have curtains.
- Stella (10/5): Wonderful experience - The space was exactly what I wanted… no disappointments. The area is beautiful, homey and in walking distance to all our needs. Issues were addressed immediately and fully. We were very pleased. A very comfortable and satisfying experience.
- Dominik (10/5): Great stay. Perfect when looking for an affordable alternative to hotels during a conference -
- Peter (7/5): It worked for me, but was not outstanding. - The location was suitable for me. The overall appearance was smart. The bed was comfortable. It would help to have a shower curtain. There was not adequate shelf space etc in the bathroom to put a toothbrush, razor etc. The location of power sockets was not great. It would help to have an ordinary table with an ordinary chair, and a power socket nearby, not high stools. The only thing provided to clean dishes was dish soap. Details like this could be improved.
- James (1/5): Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus - i use booking.com often when I travel including multiple 3rd world countries.
This is by far my worst experience with a place through bookings
my main reason for choosing this location was that had parking. i passed up other better locations and cheaper locations for parking. when I added my confirmation that I needed parking, I got a response that there was not parking , but parking on the street. travelling of course, by the time I for the message I was at the location, They had my money, and it was too late.
totally unaceptable. lie to me once, .....
check in was a hassle. the key didn't fit the door. after about 5 minutes if trying I decided to look around back for another door. there was a whole another unit which was the unit I was supposed to have and the key fit. Along with parking filled with "cars on bricks" Getto style. you could have told me that in the beginning it was around back. Geeeezzzzz
I'm not big fan of the kitchen and living room being between the bedroom and bathroom. But for Gods sake, have blinds on the windows. I can go on, electrical sockets not working, Internet failures, crappy or no fixtures etc
Far worst than the units in 3rd world countries. My worst experience with bookings. Note en a close second
- Samantha (5/5): Not bad but not the best either - Modern and cute layout, good location, good for single person or couple, streaming services and tv in both rooms We had some trouble checking in due to code not being sent to us in time for our arrival and had to wait about 15 minutes till we could check in. No shower curtain and no hot water. Didn’t receive WiFi password either. Front door needs blinds since it’s directly across from the main house, so anyone can easily see in there. Not enough privacy for this reason.
- Robert (7/5): Nice facility at a good location, but not well-equipped. - The guesthouse is a separate facility at the back of the property, so there was good privacy. The furnishings are up-to-date and comfortable. I didn't get the passcode and instructions before arrival as promised; had to call while standing outside. There is a nice kitchen, but no microwave, pots and pans, or kitchen utensils except basic silverware, so I couldn't use the kitchen as I had planned to do. There's no shower curtain, so water sprayed through the bathroom when I used the shower.

- Dana (10/5): Great accommodations - Comfortable environment, nice decor and great amenities. Hands-down one of the most relaxing stays ever.

- Ramona (9/5): Architecturally designed guesthouse in a quiet residential neighborhood near the Central West End - We found the primary attraction of this small guest house, the stylishly converted front half of a large garage, to be its location on an historic residential street quite close to the Central West End. The quiet area (with free street parking) is very convenient --even walking distance--to shops and restaurants and entertainment venues, as well as within easy driving range of Washington University. (It could be handy for parents visiting Wash U students or even prospective students themselves who'd prefer an affordable place with a kitchen to a hotel room). The bed was comfortable and, as noted, it was very quiet, so we really relaxed and slept well. Host Anthony (himself the architect of the guesthouse and the really striking contemporary house it sits behind) was available and readily responsive to a couple of requests we had. When we arrived "home" after dark, we needed our phone flashlights to find our way back along the house-adjacent sidewalk to the backyard; a motion-sensing light along that area could be an improvement to consider. The bathroom had nice soap but no shampoo, which we'd forgotten--oops! So, an alert. Still, given the occasion we'd stay here again.
