• Kerrin (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Merry Petch. - We were greeted by our lovely host, at the front door and in the foyer that immediately led upstairs to our accommodation for the night. We had the whole top floor, so it was private, and they said that they only have one couple at a time. The decor was a little outdated but beautiful with lovely Asian artifacts. Comfortable bed and tea making facilities. The hosts made our stay comfortable and easy. Cooked breakfast was provided. I would recommend Merry Petch for sure!

Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. All was good. I was a little unsure as I have never stayed in and Airbnb with the hosts as well but Max & Kim made it very comfortable for us.

Max kindly gave us a lift to the venue of the wedding that we were attending. Unexpected but very welcome. The garden is fascinating and and an obvious joy for Kim and Max. A bit cool for the pool. Having fresh coffee on offer at breakfast would have made our stay perfect. Easy to rectify though.

Everything was in very good condition and very clean. The bed has crisp sheets and is very comfortable, and the aircon did its job during the heat wave. The location is good, an easy 1km drive to Safety Beach foreshore, and there was plenty of parking at the beach on a hot, busy long weekend. Nothing!

We were very grateful.The room had a scented candle, fruit, a variety of tea/coffee, fresh milk, biscuits and sparkling water. We enjoyed our brief stay very much. Everything was great.

Had to share soap with other guests….not acceptable. Minute bedroom. Bed barely fitted and pushed against the wall. Naked bulb in ceiling and no bulb in bedside light. Nowhere to sit except on bed. Overpriced and nothing like website picture. Amateur accommodation
