The food was also very good—fresh, tasty, and nicely prepared. The location is great too, close to the beach and easy to access nearby spots. Overall, a great place to stay if you’re looking for comfort and tranquility. Highly recommended!

- Bell (10/5): I would definitely recommend and it was a pleasure to stay there :) - The location and the people who work there are awesome. I could watch the sunset from my balcony and the rooftop. Even if they sometimes need translater, they do everything in your favour and try their best to fulfil your wishes and understand everything. The price is a bit high for the quality of the room but I guess the reason is because of the location and the food service there :)
- Flavia (5/5): Mein erster Eindruck war nicht gerade gut, da mein Zimmer dreckig war. Das Personal ist aber freundlich, auch wenn sie n - Die Lage ist einmahlig! Als ich angekommen bin, war mein Zimmer nicht gereinigt, alte Handtücher waren vor Ort und alte Schlappen. Das Personal musste das Zimmer 2x reinigen. Bei mir ging auch das Schloss in der Nacht kaputt, welches dann zuerst nicht repariert werden wollte. Nachdem ich aber gesagt habe es soll bitte heute novh repariert werden, wurde es dann auch repariert. Die Sprachbarriere machte alles etwas schwierig

- Daniela (6/5): - Weligamu jsme navštívili mimo hlavní sezónu. Zřejmě i proto dvorek u ubytování vypadal trošku jako staveniště. Personál byl velmi milý. Snídaně byli jednoduché. Z horního patra je moc hezký výhled na oceán. Náš pokoj byl větší, ale velkou část pokoje zabírají postele. Uklizeno bylo dostatečně, ale ne perfektně a v koupelně nám smrděli odpady a nesvítilo světlo.

Außerdem ist die Unterkunft in de Renovierung und es wirkte ein wenig so als würde man auf einer Baustelle schlafen.

There was a surf rack to keep your boards and space to park the tuk-tuk. Breakfast with pancakes was very nice. Price quality was good. Lady in reception looked always annoyed when talking to her, not the kindest welcome we received.

- Hayley (7/5): If you can over look the tiredness and the corridors it is a great spot and a good sized room. - The room was a good size and the air con was good . The location was good even though it was on a busy main road you were just across the road from a beautiful beach. Most of the staff were very nice and kind. There was a fridge in the room too which was great. Our check-in wasn't great - the receptionist wasn't very friendly (our first experience of this during our whole stay in Sri Lanka) she was insistent on us paying by cash or card before we had even paid for our taxi - we didn't have enough cash to pay for our whole stay upfront as we were unaware this was their policy (again a first for our whole stay in Sri Lanka) and she wouldn't let us go and get cash after we had put our bags in our room , so we had to pay by card with a 3% charge - we felt this set us up for a bad start. The rooms don't look like the pictures on the site , it is very tired and could do with some care and attention, we only had one chair for our seating area and the corridors were scruffy. Saying all this we enjoyed our stay and all the other staff were lovely.

- Rita (8/5): The friendliest of staff - Amazing location right in front of the plantation break. The staff were amazing from day one. We stayed there for 6nights and the staff became friends. Mainly Ravindra that was always checking on us, always ready to help and make us happy. The room was ok and great views. But what really made us happy with this place was the easiness of the staff and how happy they are to help you. The staff makes the place. The drainage from shower was a bit of a difficulty, leaving the washroom with drain smell. the room we had - king I think , didn’t have many commodities such as a kettle or tea, but does have A/C. We were there 6 nights and our room was only cleaned once upon our request- I would suggest that even if guests are staying longer time, a floor sweep or restoring water bottles , or check if more towels needed would be a good idea.

- Chloe (5/5): Close to surf breaks but not what you think you’re getting - - close to surf breaks, can walk 1-5 minutes and be at coconut, plantations and rams - Kitchen staff friendly - Taxi driver they reserved from airport did not have any change, so I was charged an extra 2000 rupee. I notified reception at check-in and he said try to have exact amount next time, but we had just arrived and received cash out of ATM in airport, so no opportunity yet to break a bill and have exact cash - Asked for WiFi at check-in and was told it would maybe be working in the morning so we were without our phones and could not buy eSIM until the next day when we went to a cafe in town as WiFi never worked for us. Needed to buy more data on eSIM than intended due to this. - Arrived to room to find a double bed and no king bed as booked. Also room looked nothing like the pictures and the pictures must be from 10 years ago when it was built. Room smelled dirty like mold and no windows to open to let fresh air in. During the day we left our balcony door open to let fresh air in but then could not run aircon until the night. - hot water is only if you let the water run for about 5 minutes, which is a waste, so we took cold showers because we did not want to just waste water by leaving on until hot. - Staff do not speak good English so communication is very hard, and no room service during stay. Had to go ask for refresh of towels and roll of toilet paper. - Both scooters we received for rental were broken. First had a flat tire and no gas. Refused to take until at least the tire was fixed but they wanted me to walk to shop to get fixed and said gas was not included. Ran out of gas on the way to gas station and helped by a local on side of road. The second scooter had a broken surf rack, that took a half day to get fixed so we could use. - Laundry was returned wet because they didn’t have time to wash when they said they would (said rain impacted wash schedule, but not until we were supposed to get did staff tell us this) and was returned with missing items. I was not compensated for missing items and they were not returned either.

- Stefan (3/5): Avoid booking the 'Economy Triple' room if you need two adult-sized beds. - The location was excellent, with the surf spots Plantations and Coconuts just steps away. We booked the 'Economy Triple' room, which was described as having 1 king bed and 1 twin bed. However, the room actually had 1 full/double/queen bed and 1 child-sized bed instead. Please refer to the attached pictures for reference.
- Dominika (7/5): Good stay but would not stay again - The view was nice and the bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the juices in the morning. There was poor communication with the staff and the main guy was not the friendliest. The stairs were slippery as they did not wipe the water down and my partner fell down them hurting his thigh. Also we found out that some people have much bigger and better breakfast just because they have a different room, when we booked this room there was no information about and basic or non basic breakfast. Very disappointing and unfair. Breakfast was nice but the same thing every day.

- Indika (9/5): Sri Lankan genuine hospitality at its best - The staff demonstrated genuine hospitality and frienliness. They have arranged seperate items (towel, water bottle, bed etc.) even for our 3 years old kid without any request from us. Room is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good at the roof top restaurant with sea view. The property is located at a famous surfing point. Better to improve parking facilities and safety of the initial part of the flight of steps. But, the staff was very helpful and attended on those.
