• Sandie (10/5): A slice of heaven in a dream location - Wow! What more can we say. We loved staying at Un Pazzoindietro - we were there for 7 days and so sad to leave. It is in a beautiful location in the middle of all the loveliest towns set in the hinterland of the Itria Valley. Luciano and Piero were the most fabulous hosts. Every morning Luciano made a cake and served the most amazing breakfast - the food was incredible. You really felt like you were part of their family along with Mimi the dog and Crazy the kitten. Luciano gave great recommendations for places to visit and eat, and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. We can’t thank the boys enough for their welcome and hospitality! It is the best place we have stayed in all of our travels and we will miss being there!! We can’t recommend it highly enough!!!! Everything was absolutely perfect!

Les chambres sont belles confortables . Et d'une propreté impeccable. Les petits déjeuners maison délicieux. Beaucoup de villages incontournables sont à courtes distances, ce qui est très pratique. • Maike (10/5): Unser Aufenthalt war ein echter Puglia-Traum – Luciano hat uns wie zu Hause fühlen lassen! Danke <3 - Luciano und sein Partner haben uns das Gefühl gegeben, wie zu Hause zu sein. Die Unterkunft verdient wirklich 5 Sterne – wir sind mehr als zufrieden. Jeden Morgen gab es ein hervorragendes Frühstück, die Gegend ist wunderschön, und wir haben mit netten Gästen eine tolle Zeit verbracht. Ich kann diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt – alles war einfach super. Es gab nichts, was uns nicht gefallen hat.

• Gabriela (9/5): Verstecktes seltenes Juwel - Luciano war ein besonders zuvorkommender und freundlicher bzw. stets bemühter Gastgeber, der uns mit sehr guten Empfehlungen versorgt hat. Das abwechslungsreiche Frühstück wurde auf der Terrasse inmitten von 400 Olivenbäumen gereicht, ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so ein Frühstück mit so viel Liebe angerichtet gesehen (täglich gab es frisch gebackenen Kuchen, alla Nonna). Das Haus war äußerst geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit vielen Bildern von regionalen Künstlern geschmückt. Sehr schöne, großzügige, stylische Zimmer mit sehr bequemen Betten. Das Badezimmer neu und mit hochwertigen Produkten ausgestattet. Absolute Ruhe in einer Erholungsoase. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt um mit dem Auto verschiedene Orte in Apulien zu besuchen. Leider mussten wir nach drei Nächten dieses Juwel verlassen. Danke für die Gastfreundschaft! Der zu kurze Aufenthalt
• Paul (10/5): Een top verblijf een aanbeveling waard. - Mooi gerenoveerd pand gelegen in uitgestrekt landgoed met olijfbomen geschikt voor het bezoeken van talrijke bezienswaardigheden in de omgeving. Zowel kamers als gemeenschappelijke delen zijn smaakvol en kunstzinnig ingericht. Luciano en Piero zijn buitengewoon vriendelijk en behulpzaam en bovendien is Luciano een uitstekende kok die ons dagelijks verwende met een origineel ontbijt en op verzoek telkens een romantisch diner verzorgde met streekproducten. Een B&B die nog het echte familiaal karakter uitstraalt. Naast Luciano en Piero heeft ook " Mini" ( het hondje) ons hart veroverd. Niets.
• Ulrike (10/5): es war super - wir kommen wieder!!! - Wo soll man anfangen, wenn alles passt? Wir kamen bei unserer Rundreise durch Apulien bei Luciano und Piero an und wurden von den beiden herzlichst aufgenommen. Das Anwesen mit seinem Olivenbaumgarten liegt bei Monopoli sehr ruhig im Hinterland (Nähe Alberobello). Wir waren drei Nächte. Es war so schön und heimelig, dass wir fast nichts unternahmen, sondern auf den Liegen unter den Olivenbäumen gefaulenzt haben. Lucianos liebevolles Frühstück beinhaltet sowohl deftig als auch süß und Früchte. Ich bin ja nicht der „Süßfrühstücker“ aber da konnte man nicht widerstehen, es gab jeden Tag einen neuen Kuchen und einer besser als der andere. Luciano hat uns mit so leckeren, typisch apulischen Abendessen verwöhnt, dass wir nach den drei Tagen auch ohne Auto „gerollt“ wären. Das Haus wurde erst vor kurzem komplett renoviert. Unser Zimmer, mit einem komplett neuen Bad, war sehr gemütlich, eingerichtet in einem Mix aus alt und modern, mit einer eigenen kleinen Terrasse. Es war sehr sauber. Zu Lucianos und Pieros Anwesen gehören neben Pieros Hundezucht (sehr schöne ausgeglichene Tiere) auch der große Kater „Korla“ sowie die Hündin „Mini“ aber die verrückteste auf dem Hof war „grazy Cat“. Wir haben das kleine Kätzchen im Spiel mit „Mini“ des Öfteren gefilmt und lachen heute noch darüber. Wir sind viel unterwegs aber eine solche uneingeschränkte, herzliche Gastfreundschaft haben wir noch nicht erlebt. Man fühlt sich als würde man zur Familie gehören. • heta (10/5): - Endroit enchanteur en pleine campagne avec belle chambre confortable et petite terrasse privée ensoleillée. L’accueil était vraiment chaleureux et Luciano cuisine merveilleusement bien. Nous avons mangé un petit déjeuner délicieux sur une terrasse magnifiquement agencé avec beaucoup de goût et de finesse. • Fabienne29🇮🇹 (10/5): - Tout était parfait ! Des hôtes exceptionnels dans un cadre bucolique, une superbe maison décorée avec goût et une chambre confortable et propre. Tout cela en fait une véritable oasis de paix qui vous donne envie de rester encore plus longtemps et qui vous fait vous sentir en famille ! Le petit déjeuner est délicieux, pris avec d'autres personnes de diverses nationalités. On discutait de nos visites de la veille et me rappelait le film "l'Auberge espagnole ".... Vraiment merci à Luciano et Piero ! Rien à redire

• guylaine (10/5): Séjour seulement d’une nuit mais excellent! - Nous avons passé une nuit parfaite à Unpazzolndietro. L’accueil a été chaleureux et attentionné dès notre arrivée, on se sent tout de suite à l’aise. L’hébergement est d’une propreté irréprochable et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, dans un style à la fois élégant et authentique. L’emplacement est idéal : au calme, mais tout près de Monopoli et de la mer, parfait pour découvrir la région. Le petit-déjeuner était tout simplement excellent copieux et varié! Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter! Tout était parfait!

Luciano pedig a legjobb házigazda. - A reggeli fenomenális volt, a házigazda, Luciano minden reggel különböző, saját készítésű, több fogásos reggelit készített óriási szeretettel. Luciano e Piero non sono semplicemente ospitali: sono due persone speciali, che sanno prendersi cura di chi arriva con una generosità rara e con un cuore immenso. Ogni attenzione, ogni gesto, ogni parola è stata un modo per farci sentire non semplici ospiti, ma parte di una piccola famiglia. Hanno il dono di creare legami, di far sentire accolti e coccolati. La colazione è un momento indimenticabile: prodotti del territorio scelti con cura, pietanze sempre diverse e preparate sul momento, presentate con una raffinatezza che traspare anche dalla bellezza di piatti e stoviglie. Le camere sono arredate con gusto e stile ricercato, arricchite da dettagli che fanno la differenza. La zona living è un piccolo gioiello creativo, con accostamenti originali e mai scontati, mentre gli spazi esterni sono puliti, curati e resi accoglienti anche per chi viaggia con animali da compagnia. Portiamo con noi non solo il ricordo di un soggiorno perfetto, ma soprattutto la gratitudine per aver incontrato due anime così generose e genuine. È questo che rende il loro B&B un luogo unico: non le sole comodità, ma il calore umano che lo trasforma in un’esperienza indimenticabile.

Arrivare da Luciano e Piero è stato come arrivare a casa di amici conosciuti da tempo e che da adesso porteremo nel cuore! Ci hanno meravigliosamente accolto in questo luogo magico, coccolato in ogni minuto, sempre super disponibili! Una menzione sicuramente alla colazione con prodotti squisiti, tutti in rappresentanza del territorio. È un posto di cui si sente la mancanza, quando torneremo in Puglia non avremo dubbi su dove alloggiare!

• Grace (10/5): Arrived as a guest but left as a friend! 😊 - Tucked away in the heart of olive groves, this place is a peaceful escape from city noise and light pollution. The serene surroundings, along with the adorable dogs and cats roaming freely, made it feel like home. My hosts, Luciano and Pierro, were simply wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I felt an immediate connection, like reuniting with long-lost friends. It wasn’t just a stay; it felt like a beautiful cultural exchange. I’m especially grateful for the intimate dinner they hosted with their neighbors. That evening, filled with laughter, stories, and shared flavors, made me feel truly part of the community. I was also thankful for the chance to share a piece of my own culture through cooking. A heartfelt thanks to Anna and Franco for inviting and welcoming me into their charming Trulli house and giving me their homemade Limoncello. Luciano is a phenomenal chef, every breakfast and dinner felt like fine dining, served al fresco beneath the olive trees. The room was spotless and carried a noble, calming scent that made each night restful. If you’re looking for a quiet, soulful retreat that offers more than just accommodation, one that nourishes both heart and spirit. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Come for the olive groves, stay for the warmth, and leave with memories. Nothing!
• Suzanne (10/5): - Such a gorgeous stay!! 💖 From the moment we arrived, Luciano made us feel at home and couldn't do enough for us. UnPazzolndietro itself is gorgeous. Beautiful rooms, comfy beds and all spotlessly clean. The pictures don't do it justice. But the stay was made by the hospitality from Luciano. He gave us recommendations of quieter beaches in the area and equipped us with sun umbrella and loungers, restaurant recommendations and even a surprise birthday cake. A magic stay!
• Martynas (10/5): Meraviglioso! - The location was perfect – in a great spot, close to Monopoli and other nearby towns. Many beautiful places could be reached by car within just 15–20 minutes. The room was cozy, tastefully designed, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host welcomed us warmly and was truly a pleasure to talk to. He not only greeted us kindly but also recommended great places for dinner, desserts, and sightseeing in the area. These were the coziest and warmest two days of our entire trip. The breakfast was wonderful! We enjoyed the food in a beautiful and peaceful setting. The coffee was incredibly delicious. We truly felt like part of the family. When we return to Italy, we will definitely stay here again. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for true Italian hospitality and comfort.

At every step you can see with what love and dedication they run this masseria. Luciano is an amazing cook, we ate the best food in Puglia, prepared with passion for what he does and served with attention to every detail. At Luciano and Pietro's place, the guest feels like a king and like a friend. Luciano says that this is not a hotel but a home and he stands by this 100%. The hosts very extremely friendly, provided excellent advise on what to visit and the home made breakfast was such a treat. It is a little remote yet sooo worth it. Highly recommended.
