• VALERIE (10/5): - Proximité de la gare centrale et du centre ville (20 minutes à pied) dans le quartier calme de Bolognina. Très bon accueil de nos hôtes avec de bon conseils pour notre arrivée puis pour notre séjour. Logement tout confort et bien chauffé. Grand lit double très confortable et tout le nécessaire pour se préparer le petit déjeuner en autonomie pour 3 jours.

• Beljaev (9/5): - Værtskontakten var meget personlig med kontakt via whatsapp, for at hjælpe med at nå destinationen, booking af restaurant ved ankomst og general support til anbefalinger, inklusiv hvilke ting man skulle undgå. Det ville hav været dejligere med adgang til køkken facilitet eller flere redskaber end det morgenmadsopstillingen havde til rådighed.
• Marek (5/5): - Vzdálenost od centra, čistota ubytování. Na přespání dobré. Ubytování je v přízemí s jedním úzkým oknem do zahrady. Takže i když venku svítí sluníčko, musíte svítit. Naštěstí jsme zde trávily jen tři noci. Zklamáním byla snídaně. Na všechny dny vakuované pečivo, šunka v neoriginálním balení. Každý den jsme si čerstvé pečivo museli kupovat sami.

Obiekt bardzo dobrze skomunikowany pod względem jedzenia i dostępu do transportu publicznego Było zimno w trakcie naszego pobytu, pomimo ustawionej klimatyzacji na 26 stopni. Trzeba wziąć grubszą piżamkę i kapcie

• Zsófi:-) (9/5): - Nagyon kedves kis apartman, közel a buszmegállóhoz, Bologna belvárosa kb 15-20 perc sétával elérhető. Nagyon kedves házigazda. Ajánlom a helyet! Mivel földszinti a lakás, így kicsit sötét, de napközben úgy is programozik az ember, úgyhogy nem volt vele probléma. Bár nagyon tetszene az önkiszolgáló reggeli ötlete, nekünk kicsit kevés volt a felvágott/sajt, és talán lehetett volna változatosabb is, de ez lehet egyéni preferencia.

• Ivana (10/5): Exceptional - I really enjoyed my stay at Oxalis. Everything was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Location was not an issue for me. Everything was walking distance from the accommodation. Breakfast was exceptional. The walls were quite thin, so you could hear the neighbours.
• Uta (10/5): Exceptional - Oxalis is really a wonderful place! The owners are very respectful, friendly and warmhearted persons. Everything is spotless clean, you can see and feel that good care is taken for the place. A rich breakfast is served in a beautiful, friendly way. You can walk to the fair in about 25 minutes, and walking to the city center takes about the same time. There is also a bus stop around the corner, the bus that stops there will take you directly to the city center. Staying at Oxalis gave something special to my visit of Bologna because I could feel that it was really important to the owners that I felt well. When I will come back to Bologna, I will certainly want to stay again at Oxalis! Thanks again! Highly recommended!

• Larissa (10/5): Comfy stay in Bologna with great Italian hospitality - We were welcomed by the very friendly owner and she made our stay very comfortable. She's kind and very accommodating. The breakfast was great: lots to choose from. The husband helped us with several things by Whatsapp. The beds were one of the best we slept on while on different vacations in Italy. The apartment is close enough to the main center of Bologna but far enough to escape the rush of the big city. Would stay here again if we would be in Bologna in the future. • Anonymous (1/5): Not recommended - very bad experience - It was clean. Very bad smell in the apartment. It was impossible for us to stay there. We figured the smell comes from a lot of anti moth sents hanging in the various closets. It gave us a headache within minutes. Instead of taking our complaint serious the owner told us we have no right to take them out of the closets and also accused us of just trying to find an excuse for cancelation, assuming we might have changed travel plans. This was of course not the case and we booked an expensive other place in Bologna for the same two nights. After the horrible communication on top of the bad smell we jus wanted to leave immediately and did so after only one hour. Asking for a refund of at least one night we only received the answer that the rate is not refundable. After also trying to contact booking.com for a refund the platform did not even receive any answer. Trying to contact them again we also never heard back and did not even reveive one cent refund. Worst travel experience ever. Would not at all recommend to stay there. We are absolutely not capable to understand where the good reviews come from. Don‘t stay there unless you are only looking for cheap and clean.
• Thijs (9/5): Very pleasant stay!! - Very pleasant stay! The accomodation is quite large and very clean. The breakfast each morning is delicious and the host is very flexible with the time for breakfast. Further, the hosts are very helpful and have tons of good tips for transport, food and nice places to visit in the city. Only (slight) downside is the location. The accomodation is about 30 min walking from the city center. However, as the host recommended using a rental bike or with the bus it is only ten minutes.
• Seweryn (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to rest. Room was clear with big, comfortable bed. Great breakfast in italian style. Owners were kindly and helpfull. Close to apartment you can find awsome restaurants, much better than in city center. Bus stop is around 100m. I higly recommend this place.

Zhila, our hostess, was very kind and helpful and gave us great tips. The bedroom was quite dark during daytime because there is only one window and it's on the ground floor.

• Greg (10/5): Great place to stay in Bologna - We felt taken care of even before we got there. Amazing hosts provided tips of how we can get to the property from the airport, so we could choose the most optimal way. There was no problem with late check-in. Hosts are simply great people. Every time we had question about the city or asked for recommendations, we got it. Helped us book late table at the restaurant, recommended food to try and places to visit. Place was really clean and atmosphere was very warm. Place is 2 minutes from bus which goes to city centre, 2 minutes from really good and affordable restaurant and in matter of 2-3 minutes from shops. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and more than enough for 2 people. I can honestly recommend that place because it is not only the city itself that is impressive but also hosts who make the experience much better. There is really nothing to complain about.

Noisy neighborhood (low soundproofing), smell in sewage (shower drain is the reason), Breakfast is weird, my proposal is to introduce Nespresso machine in the room and couple of sandwiches instead.

• Bronwyn (10/5): Amazing amazing. One night, lasting memories. - Our stay at Oxalis was one short night, but the beautiful memories will last forever. The apartment is perfect, clean, quiet and has everything you need. It’s in a great location that is walking distance from Bologna Fiere and also a longer stroll or quick taxi / bus to the old town. The breakfast was a delicious feast of fresh produce and amazing coffee. The host is simply a beautiful soul. Not only was her kindness such a bonus for our stay she also went above and beyond to mind our luggage and help book a taxi to the airport when we couldn’t find one. Thank you for making our stay so pleasant and memorable. Everything was amazing.

She contacted me the day before to make sure I knew how to get to the apartment from the airport. She also offered wonderful recommendations and provided us with a list of restaurants that we could explore. She was very accessible by phone and answered my questions right away when I texted her. The breakfast was also wonderful. Everything was great!

• Ross (9/5): Plain but comfortable and clean accommodation out of the city centre. - Oxalis is in the suburbs but within walking distance to the city centre or by bus. The host was very helpful, pleasant and gave us 2 excellent dinner recommendations and arranged the restaurant bookings. The local restaurant served local Bologna cuisine. Parking is in a location nearby and the host offered to drive us but it was only a short walk. We were aware of restricted Bologna city driving areas.
