• Nilsen (10/5): - This is a great place to stay, and highly recommended! Katia is a wonderful hostess, so kind and considerate. There is not a thing she has not thought of. The apartment is spotless and contains every item you may need during your stay; and more! The location could not be better, with the Acropolis within walking distance (you can actually see it from the entrance gate). This is great value for money. If it is available, do not hesitate to book it!

Děkujeme za poskytnutý apartmán. - Apartmán je v centru města, v klidné uličce, nedoléhal hluk z hlavní ulice, spali jsme s otevřeným oknem. Ke všem památkám blízko, ušetřili jsme za MHD. Krásný velký apartmán, prostorná sprcha, Kuchyňka vybavená nádobím i kořením, čistícími prostředky. Pohodlné postele, v koupelně tekuté mýdlo, šampón, dostatek ručníků. Byly jsme na 5 nocí, asi není obvyklé během pobytu vynášet odpadky. Bylo zachováno soukromí, nikdo nám nevstupoval do apartmánu.

• Julie (10/5): - Le logement est conforme à la description et aux photos. Propreté +++ Les instructions pour arriver au logement sont très claires et donner suffisamment tôt. L'emplacement est idéal. Vous êtes à 15 min de marche des monuments principaux (Acropole, musée, parc, stade panathénaïque...). Katia est vraiment réactive et aux petits soins pour ses hôtes. Elle ne veut qu'une chose : que l'on se sente bien et c'est le cas. Merci également pour toutes les petites attentions qui sont vraiment agréables quand nous venons d'arriver (biscottes, beurre, fruits, petits gâteaux, confiture...) et pour la recommandation de restaurants typiques Grecs "comme à la maison". Nous recommandons à 100% ce logement. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir. Merci pour tout. Tout est parfait
• Virág (10/5): Tökéletes szállás néhány napos városnézéshez párok számára. - A Plaka, Akropolisz környéke kényelmes séta távolságra van, a messzebb lévő látványosságokat pedig könnyen elértük metróval vagy villamossal. Bolt is van a közelben. Biztonságos a környék, a szállás csendes, a fürdőszoba szép és nagyon kényelmes a zuhanyzó, nem utolsó sorban pedig a tulaj is nagyon kedves :)

• mashaal (10/5): Clean and comfortable, very safe for solo travelers - The place had everything you need as a solo traveler, very privet in a well lit and comfortable area of athens, it had great attention to detail with small amenities that made it super comfortable. Be aware that it is a ~15-20 minute walk to the main touristy area of the acropolis. For the price I think the location was great. Anything closer to the acropolis was way more expensive than this gem.

• Batley (8/5): Peaceful retreat in a little haven away from the busy centre - The accommodation was very tidy and clean and Katia was very thoughtful and supplied extra commodities like toiletries and food basic supplies. She also was on hand to answer questions about any issues and checked in with me during the week to see that everything was ok. The location was warm and comfortable in a quiet secluded street, near enough to the busy city centre and high street, but not so close as to hear any traffic or people. I had a bit of an issue with the bedroom window locking, but Katia ensured she came out as soon as possible to help resolve it.

We loved the additional small touches like the cold water waiting for us in the fridge or all necessities being at hand (such us sugar, shampoo or even slippers). The host was lovely and very helpful whenever needed. Thank you! The only con we experienced was the walk up to the apartment - it's short but very steep and could be difficult for some people.

The studio was thoughtfully furnished despite the tiny space. I was very comfortable for my 4 nights. Just little things. There were too many electrical items lit up at night so it was impossible to get the room dark. The table and chairs were outside but it was too hot to use. I misunderstood that the facilities listed were for the bigger apartment so the washing machine was not available for the studio.
• Justin (10/5): Great location and a great host. - The property is in a central area where some points of interest are only a maximum of 10-15 minutes walk away. There are also 2 tram stations and one metro stop and bus stops in the area, which is very affordable to use for your time in Athens and gets you many places within the city centre and beyond. There is also many shops and bars nearby. The property was a decent space for my needs and packing up the futon bed added more room to the apartment if needed. There is also a nice patio area to unwind after long days in the city. I was pleasantly surprised at both the complimentary coffee, tea and snack items as well as the bathroom items to use during my stay. Any dealings with Katia was pleasant and she is a very helpful host. In the highly likely event of me returning to Athens in the future, this will be the first place that I look to for booking accommodation. Thanks Katia for being part of a great week in Athens. Not applicable here.

Well equipped kitchen with microwave, kettle, coffee maker, etc. Spacious bedroom and sitting room. Quiet. Great, new lightproof shutters in bedroom. Courtyard gets the sun in the morning and shade in the hot afternoons, perfect. Great location near the centre. Katia was very friendly and helpful. We had a lovely stay Nothing. Would not work with a wheelchair because of access steps to the property.

Although the room is too small and there is no bed, it is a sofa bed, at least it was comfortably. The host was exceptionally accommodating and responsive, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. The apartment was impeccably clean and well-maintained, providing all the necessary comforts for a memorable stay. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of adventure. The facilities are excellent, everything you could possible need was in the accommodation, washing machine, air con, iron, first air kit and a fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen was also kindly stocked with some bottled water, bread, coffee, condiments, and breakfast snacks :) In summary, Litseli is the perfect choice for anyone seeking a comfortable and charming stay in the heart of Athens. I would most certainly return for another visit and highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

There is a small local coffee shop 30 seconds form the apartment, 2 Euro amazing lattes to start your day. Local Greek neighborhood, supermarket nearby. You can see the Acropolis from the street. Bathroom was nice and renovated. Great outdoor courtyard to chill (though it was 40 degrees in Athens at the time so too hot!). Great aircon, great wifi. Thanks again!! 🙏 Only minor thing was there was very little space once the couch folded out into a bed. It was fine, but just be aware if you're travelling solo! If you're a group the host will open up the downstairs space, so there would have been much more room.

• Charalambos (10/5): Hosts were wonderful, the property and the location excellent, we would stay again given the chance. - The location was excellent. Close to tourist sites (Acropolis Museum, Plaka, Monastiraki) and to the metro (Syggrou-Fix station). From the street you could see the Parthenon. A market was within easy walking distance for necessities. And the street was quiet, which can be a rare luxury in Athens where people go out very late. The property was recently renovated, with the amenities at a very high standard. All necessities were available--nice shower with plenty of hot water, separate kitchen, fridge, oven, clothes washing machine, A/C, iron, kettle, hair-dryer, good Wi-Fi, smart TV, fans. There is a beautiful inner courtyard to relax and have your tea/coffee (one of us used it as their "office"). And it is very safe, with two locked doors, one outside gate and the inside door. 4-5 people can sleep, with one separate bedroom and a couch with a bed extension. We were 4 and were very comfortable. And finally to add that our hosts were wonderful, kind, generous people who wanted us to feel comfortable and welcome guests, which is what we all felt like. They helped us with anything we might need, and were easy to reach. Our heartfelt thanks to them for creating this lovely property and sharing it with us. Everything was excellent, there was nothing to dislike. For some it may be useful to know that there are some steps to navigate (about 6 outside and a few more to get to the inner courtyard).
