• Marc (5/5): Aceptable - La ubicación y tranquilidad El lavabo olía a meados y había que dejar siempre cerrada la puerta para que no se hiciera extensivo, la mosquitera tenía agujeros y era habitual que se cortase el agua y tuvieras que esperar varios minutos a que volviese.

• David (4/5): - Cappuccino war gut. Im ersten Zimmer wimmelte es von Mücken, weshalb wir nach einem anderen Zimmer gefragt haben. Die Zimmer sind deutlich kleiner als es auf den Fotos scheint. Das Badezimmer wirde trotz schwacher Dusche geflutet und hat nach aussen ein Gitter, sprich nicht klimatisierbar und nach dem Duschen noch ewigs nass und feucht. Um 04:45 Uhr wurden wir von Gebetslautsprechern geweckt. Das Frühstück war etwas knapp mit Toast und Ei. Wir sind nach dieser Nacht wieder abgereist trotz längerer Buchung.

• Carmen (9/5): - Die Sicht war super,Der Vermieter war super nett,super Frühstück.man ist eine halbe Stunde von den Bergen und Neine arch Brigde entfernt. Eine Klimaanlage hat gefehlt,es war aber ein Ventilator im Zimmer.
• Sona (7/5): Unterkunft in Strandnähe - Die Unterkunft hat eine tolle Lage in Strandnähe. Das Zimmer ist komfortabel und das Bett sehr bequem. Die Surfschule ist sehr zu empfehlen und das Personal ist sehr nett und entspannt. Wir hatten das Zimmer direkt an der Rezeption/am Restaurant, wodurch es am Abend teilweise laut war. Leider hatte unser Zimmer auch kein zu öffnendes Fenster und das Zimmer wirkte dadurch sehr dunkel. Das Frühstück ist sehr wenig und besteht nur aus Ei mit Toast, was sehr schade ist
• Sterre (10/5): Super verblijf! - De locatie is top! In het centrum en bijna op het strand, maar totaal geen drukke straat en geen geluidsoverlast. De tuin met het terras is super fijn en het was heerlijk om daar te ontbijten ‘s ochtends. Het ontbijt was ook goed en elke dag wat anders.

The room is super small (10 meters), there was no wardrobe to put your clothes. 2. Problems with the water, it was no pressure and half of the time I didn’t had hot water.

• Charlotte (9/5): Perfect location and lovely hotel - Huge bed, very clean room and super close to the beach. There was a lovely area at the front of the property to chill and chat with friends
• Dominika (9/5): Superb - The room was small, but relatively spacious and had a private bathroom and air conditioning. The balcony was nice to sit on and due to the end of the season it was not overcrowded. Breakfast was good and sufficient, but I have experienced elsewhere with larger portions. It was a pity that the cafe was not working, probably because of the end of the season. The guys were nice and always helped. The room had a window like as only a door to a shared balcony, so there was not much daylight in the room.

• Holly (7/5): Value for money + ideal location - Very good value for money and ideal location for going surfing and exploring Weligama. Nicely done outside area to relax, have a drink and play cards. Generally up to standard for what you'd expect from a budget hotel. Not luxury but all the essentials were provided. Very good coffee with breakfast. Floors in the rooms/bathroom could have been a little cleaner and the bathroom was quite damp although I appreciate this is often a problem in Sri Lanka. Breakfast option very limited and only provided when prompted - eggs + toast only.

• Vikram (7/5): Fun vibes a few minutes walking distance from the beach! - It is located a few minuted from the beach and the staff is really fun to hang with, they play awesome music as well. Good vibes Wi-fi in the room was too weak to be able to work. I was wroking a few hours everyday and had to use my phone's hot-spot to be able to sign on for work meetings.
• Zoe (7/5): Great location for a short stay. - Lovely staff who were very willing to accomodate our check in and check out times. The shower caused the entire bathroom floor to pool with water, meaning that there was a constant puddle at the toilet and everything in the bathroom was wet.

• Ankit (8/5): Great value for money - This property is located very close to the beach. Breakfast is quite good and wifi is awesome. Rooms were a bit smaller than usual rooms in Srilanka. Also room didn’t had fan but only AC which can be very chilly sometimes.

• Alina (10/5): Exceptional - My friend and I stayed at Avalon for two weeks. Hands down, the best thing about this place is the people—the staff basically became our friends. For breakfast, there were four different meal options, plus drinks like coffee, tea, or fresh-squeezed juice 🙂 We really clicked with the hotel crew, and on our last night, they whipped up a goodbye dinner for us. It was super tasty and honestly, it really got to us — such a sweet gesture. Oh, and it was my birthday during our stay 🙂 The guys from the hotel surprised me with a little cake, candles, and even sang me a birthday song. It was so thoughtful and just the sweetest thing ever! The place itself is awesome too — there’s this cool porch where you can just chill in your free time. The beach is only three minutes away, and there’s a big grocery store nearby, along with tons of cafes and surf schools. And if you ever have any questions or need help with anything, the staff is super accommodating and always goes out of their way to solve any issues. They really make you feel taken care of!

• Anthony (6/5): Good price for AC room but no WiFi. - Good price for a private room with AC. Decent location. The WiFi didn't work the entire time I was there. They said it goes down when it rains. With it raining every day I guess it'll NEVER work then? All the nearby cafes WiFi worked fine. The mattress was also quite thin, not the most comfortable bed.

• Samira (9/5): Superb - Very good located in a little sideroad close to the beachfront. We had a big balcony which was to share with one other room, but luckily no one was in that room. Very close to all the surf schools where it's almost to difficult to choose from. There would even be an in house option but cause we were there in the low season we decided to have a look at different options. Young staff but whatever you need they will help you and prepare you every morning a new variation of a small breakfast which is enough before you go surfing. little bit a small room for two people with Backpacks but doable. Thin mattress with a hard underground.

• Refik (10/5): Exceptional - The location of the facility is unique, close to Weligama Beach. Surroundings among beautiful vegetation. The facility's employees are very nice and helpful. Tasty breakfasts. The room was well-kept and clean. The bed was large and comfortable. The room has a mosquito net and well-functioning air conditioning. The water in the shower was cold, but it didn't bother us. I recommend.

• Marta (8/5): Very good - The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel like we are visiting friends and were always helpful when we had questions or needed help with some arrangements. If you want they can arrange hot water in your room but honestly you don’t really need it, as weather is really warm. I recommend the rooms with AC - it is working very well and it is a game changer during the hot afternoons. We really enjoyed the garden. As we had a longer stay, some rooms could use a bigger rack or other place to put your clothes and maybe a drying rack would be nice, but you can also use the back of the house to hang wet clothes. Our bathroom did not have a hook or any kind of hanger, but the other rooms I saw had, so this is an easy fix.

• Vojtěch (7/5): Nice stay close to the beach, good value for otherwise expensive Welligama. - The hosts are very nice and attentive. It is a good value to have a simple breakfast ready at the property, especially in expensive Welligama. It is located just 100m from the beach in a quiet side alley. Our room had a shared balcony, nice for yoga or just chilling. Outdoor dining area well suitable for laptop work. Room is small and hard to ventilate because of the mosquitoes. The doors to the balcony don’t fit well so there is space for the mosquitoes to get trhough into the room. Same for the bathroom. However a mosquito net was provided over the bed.

• Anouk (8/5): Lovely hosts in central Weligama - The guys managing this guesthouse are super friendly. They take their time to make you a breakfast every morning and get to know you a bit. Location is very nice closeby everything in Weligama. AC working well, wifi sometimes very good sometimes not so much reception in the room. My room had no curtains so it gets quite light in the morning. Bathroom was clean but had a strange smell, I think it's because there might be a lot of smoke outside the building or something like that.

Location is perfect, rooms are clean and have a nice aesthetic! also the common area is very chill and a nice place to enjoy! highly recommended! also you can cook your own food if you want to save money🙌🏽If your staying in weligama for one day or longer time this place is a perfect place to stay at! Also the people there are really friendly and hospitable! nothing!

• Jack (7/5): Lovely jubbly - The host Tharidu was amazing, really friendly and happy to help with everything. We loved the garden, breakfast and Sri Lankan tea, which was all cooked fresh by Tharidu in the morning. Location was awesome. Bedroom could have done with a refurb; lick of paint, a bit of colour. Also, there was no natural light coming into the room, and the main light was really intense. A softer bulb or adding a lamp would be good. But apart from these small things it was lovely. Would recommend.

• Angelina (8/5): Good value for your money. - The Hotel is fairly new and looks really cute. We were able to check in earlier which was great since we arrived directly from traveling with our backpacks. The room was alright and the bed nice and big. Room was a little small but for only sleeping plenty. Breakfast was amazing and we had something different every single day! The room was so hot that even the fan was doing nothing. We opened the windows at night however the host is coming and going with the TukTuk - so we were awake often.
