• Tomas (6/5): Beautiful apartment in a great location - The apartment itself was wonderful - clean, had everything you might need. Beds were comfortable, the aircon was working well. The night time doorman was extremely rude. It was carnival time and yet we still arrived at the time when we were allowed to come back (yes they close the entrance and the exit for an hour every night and you cannot enter or leave the property). We managed to get back on time but were greeted by swearing and shouting by the night time doorman. Also, the lift was broken for a day so we had to use the stairs and the back entrance of the flat which was a bit of a nightmare when the apartment is on the 8th floor. Overall, amazing apartment let down by the poor staff at the entrance.

Fora isso tudo maravilhoso. Recomendo! Obs: o porteiro Leandro foi excelente, sempre bem humorado, simpático e muito educado.

• Clémence (10/5): - L'appartement est incroyable. Tous les équipements nécessaires sont disponibles. Le bâtiment est très sécurisé grâce à un portier. L'emplacement est parfait à 5 min à pied de la plage. Tout est très propre.

• Emmanuel (3/5): Given the significant issues I encountered, I would not stay here again. - The apartment itself was relatively modern, spacious, and conveniently located near the beach, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. However, given the significant issues I encountered, I would not stay here again. I had a disappointing experience at this apartment. The biggest issue was the ant infestation—I couldn’t take more than a few steps without stepping on them, and standing still for too long meant having ants crawling around my feet. The situation was so bad that my cousin, who was supposed to stay with me, ended up booking another apartment because she refused to stay in an ant-infested property. Another major concern was the doorman situation. I was informed by the booking agent that a doorman would be available 23 hours a day (except between 3-4 AM), and they are the only ones able to open the front door. However, on multiple occasions, I found myself either locked inside or outside the building. Three times, my Uber had to cancel because I couldn’t get out, and once, I was left waiting outside for 30 minutes around 5 AM. Given that the area is known for being unsafe, this was completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, one of the doormen was particularly rude. When I tried to enter the building, he initially refused to let me in, insinuating that I didn’t stay there and dismissively gesturing for me to leave. Even after I provided my apartment number, he was still unwilling to let me in, which was both frustrating and embarrassing. I had to show proof of my stay before he finally allowed me inside—despite the fact that I had already checked in. Even after realizing he was wrong, he did not offer any apology. Additionally, the boiler made loud noises at random intervals, making it very difficult to sleep—especially for light sleepers. The walls were also extremely thin, allowing every sound from the neighbors to be heard clearly. The listing description was somewhat misleading as well. It said a separate bedroom and living area, but in reality, it’s just one large open-plan space.

• Anonymous (4/5): For the price I paid it was very disappointing. Only positive was location. - Excellent location and porteiros very helpful and nice. The property was not cleaned enough, floor was dirty, around beds, under beds and fridge was extremely dirty. Inside fridge it was dirty and had mould on the shelves. The bathroom ceiling in master bedroom has mould all over it and a cocoon of an insect.
