Communication was excellent and check in/out was very straightforward. A fantastic getaway we would thoroughly recommend 🥰
• Tony (10/5): Prefect rental for exploring the area - Excellent location, big well equipped, clean and comfortable rooms. Hosts were very quick to reply to all communication and immediately sorted out the one small issue we advised them of at time of entry - excellent reaction to what really was a small point. Two good bathrooms with nice big shower cabinets. Neither stairs nor floors creaked which made it easy for early morning risers to move around without disturbing others. The bottle of white wine left for us in the fridge was very welcome. Though only one car fits on the driveway there is an on-road parking spot for residents right in front of the house which we used without problem (registration communicated to host before arrival). There was nothing we didn`t like. Note though that the twin room has no wardrobe or coat hangars which is a slight inconvenience if used by an adult. A minor point is that the kettle doesn`t switch off automatically - you see that I`m struggling to find anything slightly `negative` to report back!
• Gareth (10/5): Family break - We have had our second stay here now and it was perfect. The location is brilliant as everything is within walking distance and there is a local shop 1 minute away for essentials. The house is so spacious and bright you definitely feel like you are on holiday.
• Faith (10/5): Immaculate, comfy, and quiet house, and only a stone's throw away from the beach and town - Diane is a wonderful host. She answers questions quickly, left us a couple of surprises in the fridge, and kindly mailed a brooch I'd brought on holiday and left behind (thank you so much!) The house was immaculate and very roomy. There is a parking spot in front of the house and the location is wonderful. It's a stone's throw away from the beach and pier, town, and numerous cafes, bars, and restaurants. It's a detached and quiet house and we all slept soundly. Everybody said their bed was comfy. The dog had a lovely visit too and really loved the off lead beach about 10 mins walk along the seafront. The backyard is enclosed which was nice for the dog too. We visited Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Cliffs which are both close by and I even popped over to see Robin Hood's Bay one evening while my friends went to a local pub. Would definitely stay again. There was nothing to dislike.

• Cat (10/5): Wonderful family holiday - Absolutely everything was brilliant! The house was bigger than even the photos suggested, we were amazed. This was our first holiday with our son and daughter in law and little 19 month old Alfie. The place was baby friendly, clean, homely and everything we could have wanted. Every little detail was thought of. The travel cot provided was brilliant and Alfie slept for 12 hours a night! They wanted to take it home 😄 we have already tried to book for next year but it seems fully booked. A wonderful home from home and a magical first holiday for Alfie with so much room to play 🥰 Going back home to a smaller house 😂

Seashells was very comfortable, in an excellent location for our 2 night stay which was a family get together for us to photograph the wildlife at Bempton Cliffs. Nice hot showers, comfortable beds, nice welcome bottle of wine, tea, coffee etc. Close to the sea front & local restaurants. Many Thanks. Nothing.

• Gareth (10/5): Family getaway - The house was very spacious and comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect straight across the road from the beach and Spa. There are plenty of takeaways nearby to choose from. There are menus in the kitchen drawer. The only negative is there was no high shelf in the living room to put drinks on out of reach of little fingers.if you don't have little touches you are fine 😁.

Parking was sorted for 3 cars; dog bowls and treats for our cockapoo; a cot and highchair for the toddler; and everything we needed to make a big family meal! Everything was thought about! Thankyou! • Suanne (10/5): Beautiful. Note 1 of the rooms is for small people. - Beautiful house curated with coastal theme. Will definitely book again. A lot of love and care put into it. Straight across the road from the Spa where we had a tournament for the week. Fantastic small grocer, restaurant and pub near by. 10 min wLk to train station and Tesco Supercenter. WE LOVED THIS HOUSE. For our configuration, the small bunk room caused some contention in the house of Ladies team mates in town for a pool tournament.. Definitely suited to young children. For adults, I would say sleeps six adults with two rooms with double beds and one room with two singles beds. Plus, one set of bunks in a very small room is a great setup for family with children. The stairs are also steep with lovely carpet, and bedrooms are upstairs.

It was clean, tastefully decorated, well equipped and in a good location close to the seafront and the shops. The beds are comfortable and both showers are excellent. Milk and a bottle of wine were left in the fridge for our arrival which was very much appreciated. We would definitely recommend Seashells for larger families, there are eight of us, and we would be happy to stay there again in the future. Thank you Diane 😊 There was nothing we didn’t like.

• Dalton (10/5): Brilliant Holiday home - Excellent holiday home in Bridlington with private drive. Home has everything you need and has ample space for a family of 6 with 2 dogs. All the beds were comfy and a lovely seating area outside the back door. The location of the home is excellent as the south beach is opposite the front door and its only a 5 minute stroll into the centre of Bridlington. Plenty of information on places to visit and easy access to main routes. Host Diane very welcoming and a great communicator. Thank you for a lovely holiday. Highly recommend.

• Louise (10/5): Family weekend away. - Great location for all amenities. Very well equipped, spacious,clean and comfortable. Lovely dog friendly outside space which was a nice little sun trap. Brilliant for elderly guests as the staircase isn't steep at all and the bathrooms are very accessible. We would definitely book again.

Amazing house & fantastic location. & a very very helpfull host. The pictures don't do this place justice, its so much bigger than we imagined! The contained little garden area is great- especially for the children. We will definitely be back :) Perfect long weekend away, so sad to be home 😫

There was only one bottle of soap considering there was two toilets and we thought that a backup supply of toilet paper would be better as there was only one roll per bathroom.

• Kirstie (10/5): Was not expecting this amazing house. - There is so much space in every room. The kitchen is fabulous especially. The house is so close to the beach and all the seaside amenities. There's no bath for the children. There is only one key for each main door which made it difficult for both families plus older children to go out separately.

We should have gone with family but due to illness we travelled just as a couple. The house would have been more than big enough for us all . I would definitely recommend this property to others

Was close to town and in particular Bridlington Spa which we were visiting for the Panto. A lovey place to spend Christmas with the family. Would recommend this house. Would also be good for families with young children as close to the beach.

Extended our stay whilst we were there and booked again! - The house was perfect for our family - all the rooms were so spacious and comfy, we enjoyed spending time “in” rather than feeling we had to be out doing things during our short stay. All our needs were catered for and the house definitely felt like home for a few days. We had to do a bit of cleaning when we arrived where parts of the house had been missed with the hoover and drawers in the bathroom had not been checked, but this was very minor.

House is in lovely condition and well maintained; recently refurbished so it looks so inviting. We really enjoyed our stay. Some of the curtains didn’t quite cover bedroom windows/ keep out the sunlight, otherwise would highly recommend! Owners might want to add blinds to the front windows for additional privacy in the future too.
