• Thomas (10/5): Lieu parfait pour débuter un séjour avec journées chargées d'activités et de visites. - Logement très bien situé pour visiter le sud ouest de l'île qui regorge d'intérêts et d'activités. Pipine est adorable de gentillesse et a été très arrangeante en fonction de nos besoins. Le logement est spacieux, très propre et bien équipé. Attention la plage au bout du jardin n'en est pas une, c'est très boueux à cause des alluvions, elle permet un accès à la baie en kayaks qui peuvent être mis à votre disposition sur place et offre une vue magique depuis la terrasse et la chambre. Restaurant (le 2010) accessible à pied en 2 minutes et un établissement pour le petit déjeuner qui est juste à côté du resto. Le logement offre en outre un accès vaste et sécurisé pour le véhicule de location.

• Julia (10/5): - We had an absolutely wonderful time at this apartment and cannot recommend it highly enough. If you’re looking for a seamless and memorable stay, this is the place to be. The Apartment & Amenities The first thing we noticed was how immaculately clean the entire space was. It’s clear that the property is well-maintained and cared for. A huge bonus for us was the possibility to rent kayaks directly—paddling out was a highlight of our trip and made exploring the local waters incredibly easy. The Location & View The location is simply unbeatable. Waking up every morning to the stunning view of Le Morne was breathtaking. It’s perfectly situated to give you both convenience and a sense of peaceful escape. The Hosting What truly made our stay special was our super friendly host. They were always happy to help with any questions or recommendations we needed, making us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived

• Anne-Sarah (7/5): Agréable ! - Vue magnifique, l’hôte Pipine est agréable et très disponible, compréhensive même. Le studio est très bien équipé (peut-être avec une télé ce serait encore mieux). L’heure d’arrivée à 12h est arrangeante, grand parking. Pas de plage à proximité à pied, pas vraiment d’activités pour sortir le soir sans voiture, il est mieux d’aller vers Tamarin ou Flic en flac.

• Cristina (9/5): - Very good location for us, 10 min by car to the beach or to the mountain, 10 min by foot to restaurants, coffee shop 1 min away. The staff was very friendly and helpful if we needed anything. Would totally recommend. Also the view was great. It can get a little hot in the afternoon, but the room has air conditioning so if you are fine with that everything is great.

• Svetlana (9/5): - Светлая комната с большим панорамным окном, приятное постельное белье, оборудованная комната, потрясающий вид с террасы (особенно закат), напротив есть хорошая пиццерия и кофейня, в 10 мин ходьбы есть сифуд ресторан, ни одной собаки, как тут пишут, не слышали. Локация оптимальная, до Ле Морн, до Шамарель очень близко, также близко приличный супермаркет, в котором можно все найти. Парковка на территории геста, автоматические ворота. Хороший напор горячей воды в душе. Ничего критичного.

• Guest (6/5): Beautiful location spoiled by barking dogs at night. - A beautiful view across the well maintained garden to Le Morne and Île Aux Bénitiers. Lots of locals bars & restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful sunsets. Pipine is a lovely host. The neighbouring property has 4 dogs and there are many strays in the area too. They bark all night long making it very difficult to sleep. We appreciate this is out of the owners hands, but complimentary earplugs would have been appreciated. The bed is also very uncomfortable. You are paying for the location.

Le logement est extrêmement propre et il ne manque rien. Nous avons eu la possibilité de faire une sortie à l'île de Benitier juste en face du logement, Pipine nous a loué un kayak. Right opposite Kind Coffee and a short walk to a grocery store. It’s nice to have the option of renting a kayak for MUR 1,000 to explore the island

• Silvia (9/5): Superb - From the balcony you can enjoy sunsets, moonsets as well as Le Morne Brabant and the emerald lagoon 24/24. If you do not have a car (I did not have one!), you can kayak to Ile aux Benitiers or to Paradise Resort and swim there. You can also snorkel or kayak from the island to Cristal Rock (no need to pay for a boat tour). Pipine has kayaks in her wonderful garden, she is a fantastic host and an excellent cook. I hope I will return!

• Alankrita (10/5): Exceptional - Pipine’s place is a gem ! Spacious, clean and quiet with a stunning view of le morne - it felt like the perfect place for a relaxed holiday. Pipine was really sweet and even cooked for us. We also rented the kayak and visited a nearby island which was a unique experience. Her place is located ideally for exploring the south of Mauritius. Pipine is an amazing host !

• Anja (10/5): Highly recommended! - We loved staying here. The view from the terrace was amazing! It’s close to a supermarket and many restaurants, and in driving distance to the beach in Le Morne. The host was so sweet and welcoming! We recommend renting the kayak and go to Ile aux Benitiers, it felt like paradise.
• Ellen (8/5): Beautiful views and easygoing in La Gaulette - The moment we entered the apartment, we felt at home. You get a very nice view on the ocean, Le Morne and the Ile aux Benetiers and the host was very friendly, having a relaxed vibe. The apartment is close to a very good coffee shop and some nice restaurants and small shops as well. For only 1,000 MUR we rented a kajak and went to the Ile, which was a fun experience. As in most places in communal areas, there were quite some ants in the apartment and you could hear wild dogs barking at night (but there is not much the owner can do about it). There is no soap and only one roll of toilet paper - I expected that to be different.
• Iurii (10/5): Exceptional - This was our second accommodation in Mauritius. Unfortunately, at our first place, we didn’t have an ocean view, and we really wanted to make up for that. We were not disappointed here—there's a beautiful view, and if you get an apartment on the second floor, the view is even better. We had two rooms and a spacious kitchen. There was no hairdryer initially, but the host kindly provided one for us. The quick communication with the host was a big plus. Pipine was very considerate and offered us a cleaning service after 2-3 days of our stay. We declined since we are used to keeping things tidy ourselves. Another option available was the rental of a double kayak for 1000 rupees. I think this is a fair price, and we had a great time spending half a day on the kayak. We circled the island opposite and paddled to Crystal Rock Island—it was an amazing experience. The only downside I could mention is the parking. It can be difficult to park four cars, but I parked mine outside, and had no issues. Overall, I had an excellent experience at this place, and I would happily return.
• Bruce (10/5): Beautiful, quiet, and peaceful home in a secure area, conveniently located. - We had an exceptional stay, highlighted by stunning views and a prime location. Our host was outstanding, accommodating all our requests and answering every question. She even went above and beyond by preparing dinner for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and will undoubtedly return year after year. No complaints at all.

• Serena (8/5): Nice apartment with a view - The location of this apartment is ideal, there's no beach access but the view is really beautiful and relaxing. The apartment size matched our need and overall our stay was pleasant. Communication with the owner was good and she was very responsive and present. It's a plus that she lives below the property as she can be there quickly if needed It could get a bit busy with cars in the small road to the property and even in the small parking, it could require a bit of arrangements with the other guests during peak periods. For stays longer than 3 days I would appreciate a couple of spare towels, some toilet paper and a hairdryer would be a plus.

• Elizabeta (10/5): Exceptional - Bright, spacious apartment. The kitchen is well equipped. From a terracet tere is a view of the bay and Le Morne, beautiful sunsets. The lady gave us a canoe and we paddled to the island of Ile aux Benitieres. We were alone on the island, otherwise it is full of tourist boats. Larger store approx. 1 km away, near the restaurant. Strongly recomended.
