• Andrea (9/5): Perfect location close to the main neighbourhoods to explore in Palermo! - The location was great! Just a few steps away from all of the must see sites in the historical centre, but tucked away from the busy main streets so it’s very quiet. There are a lot of good restaurants, cafes and bars in walking distance. The host Luisa was very communicative and checked in with us to see if we needed anything almost everyday we were there. They provide a free cleaning and change of your towels once during the stay! Nothing, it was perfect.

We liked that they had two different types of pillows and duvet was adjustable for heavy or light. The host was incredibly communicative and helpful, making for easy check in and check out with lots of recommendations and willingness to help with queries. The property is a really convenient location for tourists wanting to see and spend time in the historical centre. Having been in Palermo, we preferred time outside of the historical centre as it was more calm, however this is personal preference.

La camera è molto ampia e spaziosa, pulita, moderna e con tutti i comfort con dotazioni anche per caffè e the. Molto apprezzata la possibilità di scelta dei cuscini. Non credo vi sia nulla da migliorare.

So that's all excellent for the price. The location is down a quiet little back-alley that can feel a bit worrying at night, but never really troubled us - just noting it in case this is important for perhaps a solo traveller.

Host was very kind and gave helpful recommendations and allowed us to check in early. We were also gifted an Isula branded tote bag which was a nice touch! Super clean and nice apartment, would recommend wholeheartedly.
• Brecht (9/5): Great value for money in the heart of Palermo. - Isula is perfectly situated in Palermo, within walking distance of almost all major attractions and fun bars and restos. It's very quiet at night, the place is perfectly clean, beds are comfortable, wifi is good, it's spacious. We never met the owner but communication via whatsapp went very smoothly. Our appartment did not have any view to speak of, which made it a bit 'boxed in', but that really is a minor inconvenience.

• João (10/5): Ótima estadia em Palermo - A acomodação aparenta ter sido reformada há pouco tempo. Tudo parece bem novo. Quarto e banheiro são bem equipados garantindo uma estadia tranquila e confortável. Cama confortável e lençois e toalhas bem limpos. A interação com a equipe da Isula foi toda por whatsapp, sempre muito atenciosa e prestativa, colocando-se à disposição para ajudar. Nos deram dicas ótimas de Palermo. Localização próxima (10 minutos a pé) da estação central de trem, fato que facilita muito deslocamentos na Sicilia e para o aeroporto. Recomendamos com muita certeza!

Luisa was by far the most helpful and friendly host. Her food recommendations were top notch as the place is surrounded by good food and fun experiences. Overall, the instructions were easy to understand, the room was spacious and very clean and the location of the Isula was a perfect base to explore Palermo. If I am fortunate to come back to Palermo, I would return to the Isula!

• Vincent (10/5): Un logement merveilleux - L'emplacement est idéal, nous sommes dans le vieux quartier près de la gare et pourtant le logement est dans un coin calme. Il a été rénové avec beaucoup de goût et je vais insister sur ce point! Il s'agit d'un logement ancien et la propriétaire a parfaitement réussi à mélanger le style entre l'ancien et le moderne. Le logement était aussi extrêmement propre et le lit était très confortable. Ensuite la propriétaire a toujours été accessible et nous a surpris en écrivant parfaitement français. Elle nous a également fait des bonnes suggestions pour les restaurants et des idées de sorties, nous les avons beaucoup appréciées. Elle a aussi proposé un taxi qui nous a été très utile pour rejoindre l'aéroport. C'était un logement parfait pour nous!

And the host Louisa was really helpful and full of energy. Palermo is a very cool town. The location is an easy walk from the train station. Enjoy! Beware of some slight confusion with street names. It's tiny little alleys (perfectly safe and clean). Get a pin drop or persevere a bit.

We were initially not so sure about the area but after exploring loved the location, it was walking distance to so many attractions, especially the vibrant evening life with such a choice of fabulous restaurants. Street entertainment was great with a band playing from a balcony one evening and this just a short walk away . Louisa was always available to answer any questions and helpful suggestions., It was initially difficult to find as the street was hard to find. Once we got our bearings there was no problem.

• Alon (10/5): Perfect stay in Palermo - This place was amazing. In the heart of Palermo, amongst old Palermo buildings is an oasis. Immediately when you come to the main entrance you see it is stylish and different from the run down neighborhood. The reception hall was really nicely designed. Location is perfect. The room is spacious and nicely decorated, clean and has all you need. A fridge with water and soda. Coffee machine available. A nice terrace for your morning coffee. We did not meet the owner but they were friendly and helpful with all questions we had. Absolutely nothing negative. A couple of additional coffee capsules would have been welcome. For those coming it is important to note that Palermo is a very authentic place so the neighborhood is as well very authentic.

Het is prachtig ingericht met veel ruimte en veel voorzieningen (koelkast, televisie, föhn, koffie, thee). Luisa is een vriendelijke vrouw die ons ontving en ook digitaal constant voor ons klaarstond. Dit verblijf is een aanrader! Er zou misschien een set klapstoeltjes voor het balkon toegevoegd kunnen worden maar dat is geen noodzaak; wij waren in de avond buiten de deur.

• Tobias (10/5): Perfekte Unterkunft für Städtetrip - Super schöne Unterkunft! Die Einrichtung ist modern, stilvoll und mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet, wirklich alles passt perfekt zusammen. Die Lage ist top: in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, aber trotzdem total zentral, sodass wir unsere Ausflüge in der Stadt bequem zu Fuß machen konnten. Die Kommunikation war von Anfang an super freundlich und hilfsbereit, und auch der Empfang hätte nicht besser sein können. Besonders toll fanden wir die persönlichen Tipps für Restaurants und coole Spots in der Stadt, das hat unseren Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!

• Yvana (9/5): Perfecte uitvalsbasis voor Palermo met zeer fijne host - Het was een zeer goede locatie in het midden van het oude centrum, wel genoeg rust en geen overlast van drukke (toeristen)straten. De communicatie met de host was perfect en ze reageerde altijd snel en fijn en dacht zeer uitgebreid met ons mee. De host geeft ook veel informatie over de stad en aanbevelingen voor bijvoorbeeld restaurants en bezienswaardigheden. De kamers zijn netjes en groot opgezet en samen met de goede airco een fijne uitvalsbasis voor je bezoek aan Palermo! Er was een (te) kleine koelkast aanwezig op de kamer, dit misten we. Er pasten nu maar een paar halve liter waterflesjes in het koelkastje en dan zat het vol. Er was genoeg ruimte in de kamer om hier een grotere voor de regelen.

• Nicole (10/5): Perfect 2 nights in Palermo! - It was so nice inside, the air conditioning worked well, we were able to walk from the train station as well as walk everywhere in the town. Very secure and safe as well.
• Itravel (3/5): - L’hébergement est situé dans un très bel immeuble, avec beaucoup de charme, notamment grâce à la présence de vieilles pierres qui donnent du caractère au lieu. La chambre dans laquelle nous avons séjourné, appelée « Isule Gialle », dispose elle aussi de vieilles pierres apparentes, ce qui ajoute à son authenticité. Spacieuse et calme, elle donne sur un patio intérieur, offrant un agréable moment de tranquillité. L’immeuble bénéficie d’un emplacement pratique, à seulement dix minutes à pied de la gare, ainsi qu’à proximité de deux supermarchés, dont un particulièrement agréable situé près du parc où se trouve le plus large ficus d’Europe. Non loin, un petit café charmant tenu par un passionné de café propose aussi une belle exposition de cafetières, une adresse sympathique à découvrir. La chambre était bien équipée : climatisation efficace, rangements pratiques, télévision, quelques livres à disposition, ainsi qu’un plateau de courtoisie avec bouilloire, eau, thé, café et infusions — des attentions toujours appréciées. Enfin, l’hôte s’est montré très disponible, poli et bienveillant, ce que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Concernant les points à améliorer, bien que la chambre ait été propre, il semble que le lit ne soit pas déplacé lors du ménage, ce qui est regrettable. Le principal problème est l’humidité persistante dans la chambre et la salle de bain, qui rend le séjour moins confortable et empêche d’utiliser la salle de bain dans des conditions vraiment saines. Cette humidité favorise également la présence d’insectes, ce qui est un souci non négligeable. Une autre petite amélioration serait aussi bienvenue : installer un rideau occultant sur la porte vitrée donnant sur le patio. Sans cela, la lumière du jour (ou celle d’une lampe extérieure allumée la nuit) entre directement dans la chambre… et franchement, ce n’est pas idéal quand on essaie de dormir.

• Amy (10/5): Beautiful accommodation in the heart of Palermo - The location was ideal, walking distance to the historic centre of Palermo and train station, great for our adventures! The room was big, clean and had everything we needed and really appreciated the communication and recommendations from the host. I didn’t personally like the loose fitting sheet on the bed, but that’s just my preference! Still had a pleasant and enjoyable nights sleep
• Mykyta (10/5): Grateful for this beautiful experience. Wishing “Isula” all the best :) - Wonderful location. Isula feels like a boutique hotel - beautifully designed, with clean and comfortable rooms. Ideal for a longer stay! It would be even better with a larger fridge and perhaps a rack for drying beach towels or clothes. That said, everything is in great condition - truly one of the best places I’ve stayed in a long time!

• Mark-Kevin (10/5): Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft weiter! - Schönes, sauberes und großes Zimmer. Wir waren während der heißen Sommertage in Palermo und hatten es in unserem Zimmer schön kühl ohne die Klimaanlage nutzen zu müssen. Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld und während unseres Aufenthaltes waren besonders gut. Luisa & Sara waren immer schnell erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Und auch die Empfehlungen für das Sight seeing, Cafés oder zum Dinner waren sensationell. Die Lage ist zentral, aber doch in einer Seitengasse, dass man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann man aber nachts vom Nachtleben der Stadt nichts mitbekommt. Es gibt absolut nichts was wir für unangenehm empfunden haben. Und auch nichts was man besser machen könnte! Macht weiter so.

• Jure (10/5): - The apartment is within spitting distance of most landmarks. The modern design, paired with traditional architectural elements and motifs, exudes a sense of elegance. We especially enjoyed the spacious bathroom and innovative illumination.
• Domenico (9/5): Enjoyed the comfortable bed, peaceful nights and terrific shower. - Spacious, clean, great bathroom and location was good. Luisa is very welcoming and personable. Not a bad thing to say but the outlook from balcony a little disappointing.

• Joke (9/5): Perfect gelegen ten opzichte van alle bezienswaardigheden. - Schoon, comfortabel en prettig ingericht in stil straatje en alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Hele vriendelijke gastvrouw die ons allerlei info gaf. Airconditioning was niet fijn ingesteld en konden we niet zelf anders instellen.
• Megan (10/5): Central hotel with helpful staff - An excellent hotel room in the heart of Palermo. The room was spacious with everything we needed. Luisa was approachable and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend staying here for your trip to Palermo
• Jon (10/5): Ideal location for a break in Palermo - Isula is in the ideal location, near the station and all main city routes/attractions. Louisa provided us with comprehensive information regarding the property access, places to visit and a multitude of cafe/restaurant locations. The apartment was very clean, modern and comfortable. • Jakobsen (9/5): Koselig og sentralt i gamlebyen med en veldig behjelpelig host! - Sentral beliggenhet, men i en rolig gate. Rommet var rent og koselig innredet, samt Luisa var behjelpelig med tips til restauranter og steder vi burde sjekke ut. Sengen var litt for hard for oss.
