- Margaret (10/5): - This is a gorgeous suite with everything you need, and more. Dee was nice and helpful, and made my stay very comfortable. It felt like home from Day 2. It was a cool place to come back to after a day’s adventures.
The view was beautiful and the animals were lovely. I enjoyed watching the sunsets, playing with the cat & dog and looking at the horses.
A very unique property. I loved it so much! Nothing

A fruit bowl that included figs. Eggs for breakfast, perfect. Vinnie and Cobie were a delight to have around. Everything was great.
- John (9/5): Enjoy Countryside and Wine - Countryside, so quiet and peaceful place. Located near Hastings and Havelock North, 25 minutes from Napier and Te Mata Oeak. In the middle of all the Wineries!
Cottage very well equiped with good bed. Lovely host and doggy/cat.

- James (9/5): Great place to stay. - What a lovely place to stay. It was a beautiful studio room, great bed, good shower, breakfast options provided for us to cook our own breakfast. The place was on a rural property so quiet with great views. A place was available to sit outside and relax too. It was a little distance from Napier but not bad and certainly offset by the great facilities

Het ligt op korte afstand van Napier en Te Mata peak. Niks

We were able to wander around the property and made friends with the dog and the chickens. Dee was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Take your own earplugs if the rooster will annoy you. He was such a handsome fella, it was hard not to love him.

- Will (9/5): A great little studio getaway. Beautifully curated and wonderfully hosted. 9.9/10 - A great little studio getaway for a couple or for the solo traveller. Beautifully curated with a rustic, equine, country feel. Everything is well thought out and very cosy. Dee and her little companion are great hosts. The surroundings are very country calming. Nothing that I didn't like tbh. However, it would be handy to have an extractor fan or rangehood for those that like to cook. WiFi/ internet can be a little sketchy at times. But, these are very minor and pale into insignificance when you consider everything else that makes this little country studio great.
- Gareth (10/5): Excellent! - Very cosy clean accommodation with a very comfortable bed and the best ever pillows. Plenty of goodies left for breakfast.
Very peaceful country location.
Sky tv a bonus. The sofa was a little too low for us oldies to get out of. 😁
- Sarah (9/5): Superb -
- Andreas (9/5): Cosy and comfy - Location, tranquil rural with animals
Loved it
- Stephanie (10/5): Absolutely incredible! - Amazing, isn't a good enough word to sum up our stay. Space is small, but super functional! De did a great job utilizing every inch. De ( Host) very friendly and kind. Sat with us and spoke on the patio for a while. Sweet dogs on the property as well has her chickens and horses. She had bread, butter, other condiments, fresh fruit, as well as coffee and tea for us. Great to wake up and see the horses off the side of the house. Water pressure was INCREDIBLE! Body wash and shampoo provided. Cook top and cook ware available if needed. The only complaint we have is we weren't able to stay longer! Absolutely amazing stay!! Short drive to Hastings and 20mins to
Napier ( where we caught some of the art deco festival) must see town! We loved it all!
- Peeraya (10/5): wonderfully stay in Hasting ever! - Beautify and comfy place to stay and the owner was very nice and take good card of us :) No
- Ivan (10/5): Real beaut. - Breakfast fine. Rural setting - rooster wakeup crow, horses, dogs, chooks lined up for crumbs. Friendly host Dee. Facilities real great. Our young grandchildren visited and they had a ball. No city noises. nothing negative.
- Pip (9/5): Rural Escape - Loved the rural outlook, and the little touches. The fresh Eggs, milk and thoughtfully laid out decor and furniture. The little scruffy dog as welcoming party and the chickens who were as interested in our breakfast as we were! A lovely location and property. Needed a sign on gate with arrow to studio parking.. felt a little lost arriving
- Sandra (10/5): Country life at its best! - Wonderful spot to enjoy a taste of relaxed NZ country life. Friendly chickens to welcome you! Generous breakfast options. Spacious and comfortable. Lovely host! Would highly recommend.
- Karen (8/5): We wish we could've stayed longer! We loved seeing the chickens, the dogs & the horses next door. - There were so many unexpected extras like toothpaste, shampoo, breakfast foods, fruit & beer ! No

- Yihua (9/5): Sweet and not long enough - Tasteful decoration and peaceful atmosphere. The studio is very cozy and offers everything we need.
Really enjoy having the delicious free range eggs for breakfast. Will appreciate if there is an information sheet about the place and facilities, such as the WiFi access. Also if could have the real butter for the spread will be just perfect for us.
- Natalie (9/5): Enjoyable stay in a lovely, rural location not too far from town. - Really comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower. Thoughtful breakfast provisions - it made leaving early in the morning much easier. Pleased we got to meet the dogs :-)
