• Serge (10/5): Exceptional - It's not an apartment but a private house partly merged with another building where yet another family lives. The house is situated on the hill behind the Trinity Cathedral in the authentic Georgian neighborhood. In the inner yard there grows a pomegranate tree that gives shadow in the heat. There stands a swing bench with a bbq and a table for guests to be able to eat together in the open air. The lodgments are roomy. Furnishings are quite simple but sufficient. All beds including the sofa bed are comfy and decent. And you've got all the privacy of your own house. Neighbors are talkative and you can't avoid a chat with them at one point. Anything you might not know about Tbilisi you may ask them or the hosts. The hosts are in a class of their own. They are ready to walk an extra mile to get something fixed in the house in case if such a necessity arises or just give some good tips. It's a wonderful place where you can feel the vibe of the Old Tbilisi. Close to Avlabari bazaar and relatively close to the city center. Communication is superb, the hosts are on the wire at all times and all your questions will be answered. A reliable couple. They won't give you a bag to hold like many other hosts do in Tbilisi when you make an agreement but later find out that the accomodation has been rented out to other people. These mates won't let it happen. We'll certainly come here again.
