• Mark (9/5): Good size studio room in excellent location - Good location for.confer3nce at the Riviera International Centre and seafront/town. Good.sized.room with nice simple facilities (i.e.fridge). Good communications from hist before and during our stay No complaints - stairs/floors.were.a.bit uneven but no big issue - characterful! There could be a better distinction between rooms, relevant photos and facilities on Booking.com

Everything had been thought of inside, we had all the utensils and equipment we could need, including tea, coffee, milk and sugar - and some bottled water in the fridge. All very appreciated after a long journey. Louise was very attentive and response when we had any questions.

• Julie (7/5): Allerdale is old but clean, tidy and comfortable. - The location was close to the main beach area with lots of eating options. You are on a hill, so be prepared if you are walking. The room was comfortable and roomy. Off-street parking is available but very tight!

• Terry (10/5): Christmas shopping break - Liked the parking, location and welcome from Louise, nothing too much trouble, the accommodation was clean and warm with milk coffee and tea and bottled water supplied, beds comfy and nice peaceful break, have stayed in apartment 1 before previously which was also excellent so will definitely return to Allerdale again in the future

The staff were friendly & helpful as was the owner. It was good value for money. I would recommend it highly. There was nothing I didn't like.

• Gail (10/5): Highly recommended 🥰 - Fabulous stay, the accommodation was fantastic and spacious with all amenities needed. Very peaceful location with a lovely view. Host was wonderful and very friendly, answered questions quickly. Parking off road included and a space reserved for our flat. Really wonderful experience. No complaints whatsoever. It’s a shame the pool is not for guest use but the sea is so close it didn’t matter and we knew we had booked somewhere without a pool.

Great location too just a few minutes walk to the promenade, the festival and town. Louise was a great host and on hand to help. There was nothing to dislike. We totally appreciate it wasn’t included with the apartment but we overlooked a small swimming pool out the back. There was a heatwave on and we were a tad envious of the owners enjoying a well earned dip 😀

• Rosie (10/5): Relaxing, comfortable and exceeded expectations - The property was gorgeous, a hidden treasure. Location was perfect for us as everything was in close walking distance but was just that little bit out of the way so there were no loud noises or disturbances. The facilities were above and beyond for what you pay for, there is everything you could possibly need at your fingertips and if for some reason there wasn’t the lovely Louise was just a phone call away. Louise was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. The room was big and spacious, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and in a whole was the best place I have ever stayed while being in Torquay. I am a frequent travellers to Torquay and will definitely now only book here. Would highly recommend to all. Nothing, everything was top notch.

Clean and comfortable and we had an excellent sleep ! We enjoyed walking around the harbour and in the evening we walked along Rock Walk which gave us excellent views over the bay and fun lighting around the harbour. We had a good dinner at Prezzo too ! No problems at all. Excellent value and Louise was very helpful.

• Leo (10/5): Very happy, highly recommended - We were in appt. 1, both the bedrooms were huge with extra large beds & both en suite. Large lounge & fully fitted kitchen. The host, Louise, couldn’t do enough for you, she was wonderful. The only problem for us was the walk back to the apartment from the harbour area. It was a long uphill walk so we jumped a taxi (£5) but there are buses you can get.

• Shepherd (10/5): Exceptional - The room was absolutely beautiful . Perfectly spotlessly clean and comfortable. The bed was huge and one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. I'm not usually a good sleeper especially when away from home but I was that comfortable that I slept like a baby. Definitely worth the money and I would definitely go back. Can't recommend it enough. Beautiful 😊 The only thing I can honestly say that's a negative is that the walls must be really thin as we had the TV on really low and one of the other residents knocked our room to ask if we could turn it down. I wouldn't say it's that much of a negative though.

Champagne in the fridge was a wonderful surprise, milk, coffee, tea etc were very welcome. Very spacious and comfortable bed and sofa, nice powerful shower, large body wash dispenser included. We will definitely be revisiting in the near future.
