• Erika (10/5): Aussicht pur 😎 - Extrem schöne Lage oberhalb von Mirsini mit Blick auf die Bucht von Mirabello und zwei benachbarte Dörfer. Von der Aussicht konnten wir nie genug bekommen. Die Anfahrtsstrasse (ungeteert) war mit unserem Mietwagen gut zu bewältigen- einfach aufpassen, dass man auf der neuen Strasse bleibt und nicht eine Abzweigung auf die old road (enger, nicht mehr so gut unterhalten) wählt. Das Häuschen ist ein Unikat und wurde von Mika mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Rund um das Haus laden verschiedene Sitzplätze ein.
• Wolfgang (9/5): Genialer Aufenthalt, die besten Sonnenuntergänge Kretas und im Dorf die authentischste kritische Taverne, die man sich v - Super Lage, Ausstattung in allem reichlich vorhanden; tolles Yacuzzi. Zuvorkommende Gastgeberin! In der absoluten Hitzeperiode haben wir einen Klimaanlage vermisst. Da aber Energie auf der berglage ein Problem ist, ist es durchaus nachvollziehbar

• Rachel (10/5): Wonderful! We’re coming back next year!!! - The photos do not do this place justice…the view takes your breath away. We spent every moment we could outdoors…there are multiple areas to sit and take in the view, watch the birds of prey, enjoy the sunset, just relax. The owners are very helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend paying extra for the use of the jacuzzi. Nothing really.

• Anja (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay at Epavlis was amazing. Beginning with the warm-hearted welcoming of Mika. She picked us up in the village and showed us the way to the house (part of it with dirty road, but manageable to drive), she gave tips of good restaurants and what to do near by. We searched for a quiet place and found it. The view is stunning. Just to stay and observe the sea was fantastic. The house is so comfortable. Suited with everything you need, nothing missed. The way to the village takes by car 5 minutes (with minimarket and taverna). It's very clean and cosy. Immediately we fell in love with the place and felt sorry to leave the place after 3 nights. For sure we want to come back, but this time longer. This place is amazing. Nothing.

• Janet (5/5): Passable - Well renovated cottage. Good views The road up to it was dangerous. It was 1.8km ,not the 700m we were told. It was an unmade up road up a mountain side. Not appropriate for small rental cars. There had been bad weather before we got there and it was solar,- so we had no hot water for 2 of the 3 days. We had to boil kettle to wash up. The nearest taverna ,for food was a 3hr walk, so we had to cook what we had with us. Lucky that we are walkers, so we walked the 3hrs to get lunch. Driving the car up and down would have been dangerous. The shower, which was attached to the sink,and washed the toilet as well as us- was cold. It was like when we were students in Greece in the 1970s.

• Markus (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful Location in nature. Fantastic view. Very nice host, very warm-hearted. For people, who like it calm. The place on the terrace under the pine tree remains always cool, even in August, even at lunchtime. And you sleep wonderfully. The cicadas were pretty loud during the day. But if you love nature, you will like it too and at night it is completely quiet. In about 20 minutes you are in Mochlos. A charming little fishing village with good tavernas. We loved it.
