• jane (5/5): The strong smell of smoke ruined our stay - The decor was lovely, they left wine , flapjacks and milk which was great. Very spacious house and had a dishwasher and washing machine machine ( with laundry pods and dishwasher capsules left) It would have been great but the smell of stale smoke was overbearing and it made for a very unpleasant stay. We opened all the windows but the smell is ingrained in the furniture which is such a shame. The bath/shower was crazy high which resulted in my mil having a nasty accident.im 5ft 7 and found it hard getting in and out
• Elizabeth (9/5): The cottage is in an excellent location in the centre of Amble. - The property was an excellent size and in a good location. It was very comfortable though I did notice in the comments book some people had been left biscuits and flapjacks in a welcome pack, I searched long and hard for ours …… The bins were full when we arrived, the back gate seemed to be jammed, lots of cobwebs and kitchen equipment not very clean

• Allan (9/5): - The Decor in all the rooms was excellent. The lack of a downstairs toilet and separate shower in bathroom.
• Linda (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location for cafes, restaurants local amenities short walking distance to harbour. House was amazing very comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, plenty of room. Lovely walk to Warkworth. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Could do with a downstairs toilet, but this didn't stop us having a good time.

• Kate (9/5): Exceptional quality good value property in the heart of the friendliest port Amble - Very comfortable and tastefully furnished well equipped and remarkably spacious for a terraced house. Sharing one toilet in a bathroom between 4 people. Upstairs door hinges squeak. Main bedroom door needs shaving as it's hard to open and close putting pressure on the hinges. Not easy to go to the loo in the night without waking everyone.

• Suzanne (9/5): Comfortable property in quiet location within easy walk of good restaurants - Warm well equipped house in a very quiet neighbourhood. A great central location to explore the Northumberland coast. Bathroom needs refurbishing to bring it up to the standards of the rest of the property
• Mcknight (9/5): A very comfortable property that enhanced our lovely stay in the ‘friendly port’ - a lot of thought gone into it for it to be used as a holiday let. Really liked the kitchen/diner. Overall, very comfortable and had everything we needed Nothing really.

Ne - clean, spacious, bright, on road parking, well equipped, location good for local shops and sea front. also quiet area. window to bathroom didn’t open so no ventilation in bathroom.
