Guest Reviews
- Paul (8/5): Perfectly located, comfortable apartment - a nice place to return to after a day out. - The location was very central and couldn't be better.
The apartment was very clean and well equipped for our needs.
Clear instructions for finding the apartment and codes required for entry and to retrieve the door key. The parking is very tight for anything larger than a hatchback.
The remote control for the main TV barely works and needs replacing.
Some noise is transmitted from the apartment above, particularly when children run about.
- John (9/5): Excellent appartment in central Padstow - Great location with parking - a huge bonus in Padstow. Quiet enclosed courtyard with seating would be lovely in summer. Huge sitting room, very well appointed kitchen, two nice clean bathrooms (one with Jacuzzi bath!). Mattresses very comfortable. No view (frosted glass in 2 bedroom windows). Ceiling very thin, you can hear every footstep from above and our upstairs neighbours were very early risers...
- Paul (1/5): Padstow is great, didn’t enjoy the damp mouldy apartment - Property was lovely, but damp and mouldy, owners tried to hide it with painting over it in most places It is full of mould and damp, really affected my chest, complained to the letting company but they said I had to go through Booking.com as this is where I booked it, sent evidence and said we could have a refund but not heard anything since that was 4 weeks ago, I just wanted to change apartments, but no joy.
- John (9/5): Convenient, very clean, well equipped - Location Parking was very difficult
Lots of stairs to negotiate
- Gary (10/5): Lovely holiday in the heart of Padstow in a bright modern spacious apartment. Ideal base for enjoying Padstow and explor - The apartment was clean, modern and well equipped. Beds, bedding, towels etc all good quality, everything very comfortable and in very good order. The weather was really warm but the apartment stayed very nice and cool being in the basement, it had a bright and airy feeling due to the internal patio area that the apartment wraps around. Very nice decoration and decorative touches. We found the location to be excellent, very quiet and peaceful yet a very short stroll from the hustle and bustle of Padstow Harbour. The two flights of stairs to the apartment are steep, narrow and concrete, I would have been concerned if I had small children or elderly people with me. I did miss having views out as the windows all look into the internal courtyard. The courtyard itself is nice to have but we could hear all the conversation from the flats above so it didn’t feel very private. Also we usually bbq on holiday but did not feel the courtyard was suitable as we would be potentially sending smoke into the upstairs neighbours windows.
The parking space is very tight, to be fair this is stated in the property details but you do have to be thorough in reading through everything to spot it. We were lucky and managed to park our fairly large car as the neighbours very kindly parked as far over as they could.
- Paul (9/5): Excellent, comfortable apartment - Quality apartment which is fitted out really good. A real comfortable sleep. Parking can be awkward, especially if you have a low car.
