- Theo (10/5): - Decor was fantastic, lovely home, comfy beds, all the amenities. Host is amazing, very accomadating. Over all an amazing stay 10/10 would come again!
- Tate (9/5): -
- Emma (10/5): Lovely little house - Lovely to arrive to a lit fire, so cosy. Host was amazing communicating about whether we could access the property early and have a late check out. She was lovely and as accommodating as it was possible for her to be around cleaning after previous guests left.

- Sarah (10/5): Beautiful stylish house - clean, cosy and beautiful garden. Emma was really responsive and helpful. - The design of the house was so cool and cosy. The garden was also beautifully kept. We wish we had stayed longer! Emma was really helpful with our check in requests. We will definitely be back if visiting Derby again. Thank you so much! We weren't a huge fan of the animal skin rugs but honestly it really didn't matter much to us
- Joanne (8/5): Nice little terrace house with a private yard and well placed for a city visit - The location was perfect for visiting Derby with a small dog, with a postage stamp sized park right out of the door. Emma was very helpful and welcoming when contacted Not that the landlady can do much about it but be aware that there are lots of steep steps. While it was fine for us, it does mean it's not the place for someone with high accessibility needs
- leanne (10/5): -
- Silvia (10/5): Amazing cottage - Everything was perfect for our new year’s eve. The fireplace, the scent in the house.. the kitchen was perfectly equipped, everything was present in the bathroom even more than expected! It is a pet friendly cottage and our dog was with us. A lovely experience Nothing
- Harpinder (9/5): Lovely home. So much to enjoy! - Very cool place to stay. Looks like the person who owns the place is an interior decorator. We enjoyed talking about the look of every room. Fun stay. Lovely well kept home. Liked everything. Just wanted to keep the place tody as its so nice so probably needed more bins around as we wanted to keep it clean as it was so nice.
- Jopling (10/5): - Lovely place to stay welcoming and homely with everything you need for a perfect stay No negative comments

- Chris (10/5): We needed some accommodation as our son was graduating the following day . Perfect location, couldn’t have found a bette - The decor and attention to detail were amazing, the milk , tea bags , Alpen and other extras .
Garden would have been amazing if there in summer or good weather.
Was able to park easily on street right outside the front door . Nothing ,,,amazing stay !!!
- Jennifer (10/5): -
- Ian (10/5): Amazing House - Amazing house.Clean, tidy, had everything we needed for our stay to see our son who is studying at Derby Uni Not one thing

- Brown (10/5): Beautiful house, amazing host! - What a lovely stay and an amazing host! A lovely homey house with very cool decor!
We had a situation where we accidentally put the wrong key in the lockbox when we went out. When we came back and discovered this very late at night, Emma spoke to us on the ring doorbell and within 15 minutes, she was there to drop off another key no questions one asked.
Thank you so much Emma! Nothing
- leanne (10/5): - Cosy townhouse, enclosed garden, lots of character. A coffee machine would have been a welcome addition, though the instant kept us going.
- Danny (9/5): -
- Debbie (10/5): - What a beautiful, well equipped home. The decoration and facilities were wonderful.
Emma was extremely helpful. She allowed us to get into the house early. There wasn't list everywhere for rules.
I will be staying there again.

Loved the log burner.
Has everything you need to feel at home.
Communication was excellent, key collection was easy and very friendly host .
Got parked at the door and was lovely and quiet.
Comfy bed, had a great nights sleep.
- Catherine (10/5): Stylish comfortable 2 up 2 down, easy parking, enclosed garden & fabulous host with excellent communication! - Stylish decor (photos don’t do it justice) that was incredibly comfortable and easy to keep clean. Lovely garden to relax in and great for our 2 dogs being totally enclosed, with a park just opposite for extra toilet exercise.
Emma is the perfect host, leaving extras such as breakfast, tea, coffee and toiletries.
No loud noises from the neighbours, easy parking and the property being on a dead end, no passing traffic . Location was ideal for us and I would highly recommend to anyone wanting to be in derby or visiting surrounding areas (Matlock 30 min away) Nothing.
- Serena (8/5): Very nice house, wonderful interior - Quirky interior very nice, lots of things provided if needed eg cutlery and things in fridge Fluffy bedding in mid August wasnt very suitable, didnt sleep well due to being very hot despite using ceiling fan. Also was very itchy, plain cotton bedding would of been more fitting.
- Callum (10/5): -
- Karen (10/5): - Lovely house and garden, perfect for the weather. Had everything we needed and loved the decor.
Was clean, comfortable and welcoming
Would definitely stay again
Emma was lovely, great communication Nothing

It was truly a comfortable time there. Nothing to mention.
- Balal (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and good location, friendly staff
- Marianne (10/5): Fantastic beautiful home , highly recommend! - We were blown away by this place, the photos didn’t do it any justice. The hosts have decorated it and furnished it beautifully with lots of extra touches throughout to make this a very comfortable, homely stay. 100% recommend and would love to stay again Nothing, it was fabulous
- Barbara (9/5): Great quirky accommodation of the beaten track. - Had a great 3 day break it was central to where we wanted to visit. The accommodation was lovely, very quirky and clean throughout. The three tier garden lovely and was well laid out and very secure especially if you had dogs with you. Emma was great in accommodating our change of dates which was much appreciated. It was nice to see her on one of the days to chat to her and found some lovely walks she suggested. All in all enjoyed our stay 😄👍 Nothing not to like.
- Mike (10/5): Brilliant stay - superbly decorated house. quirky and homely at the same time. garden areas were a delight. Nothing cones to mind.
- Blencowe (9/5): Superb - Good location, quiet street easy to park. House overlooked a walled park, which was nice. Didn't use the garden, but it looks very comfortable for lounging. Thank you for the milk and butter. Emma was very helpful. Steps
- Vashti (10/5): Exceptional - The property was absolutely amazing. It was quirky and comfortable and absolutely everything you may need was included from tea and coffee to pasta, cereal and condiments.
We were also lucky enough to have had some unseasonably great weather, so could take advantage of sitting out in the garden.
We will definitely be back!
- Sue (9/5): Very good, clean, comfortable and responsive hosts - The house had every amenity you would need and was exceptionally clean, the beds were very comfortable. It suited our needs perfectly and Emma was responsive and helpful.
Only slight negative is that the bathroom door could do with a working bolt, although there is a bolt, there is no hole for it to bolt into and no latch on the door.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Exceptional -
- Asha (10/5): Good stay - The property has everything and more that you need for a stay.
It’s comfy and welcoming
- Musa (8/5): Very good -
- John (10/5): Delightful - A coal fire was burning when we arrived. Very comfortable and well equipped
- Rachel (10/5): Quirky Decorated House in Derby - What a lovely Decorated house with everything you needed and Emma even has a pantry etc if you need anything. It's actually 2 bedrooms rather than the advertised 1 bedroom so had the choice of 2 bedrooms, opted for the back one as less noisy. She made it feel welcoming with music on when I walked in. Emma was really helpful with enquiries, couldn't ask for much more really. Not much, TV in living room kept rebooting itself but was fine in the end. A few hairs around but considering it's dog friendly, probably understandable. Other than that everything was wonderful.
- Asha (9/5): A restful break - This is a lovely place to stay, not far from the town centre. Property had everything that was needed for a peaceful, non stressful stay. Would definitely recommend. The host was very friendly and answered any questions promptly.
- Dhwani (10/5): Exceptional - Emma coordinated so well with us regarding the house, it was very clean with a lot of cute decor, overall wonderful facilities. The pantry was fully stocked and the bedrooms were very cosy! We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would definitely reccommend it!! The clown painting in the living room is a bit scary haha!
- Balal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Darren (10/5): Perfect place to stay - Had everything we needed, quiet location not too far from the city centre. Some great artwork throughout the house and a lovely garden, perfect host, highly recommend and would definitely stay again if in the area.
- Karen (10/5): Great little find - Beautiful house to stay in, beautifully decorated and spotless.
The host was brilliant with communication and facilities were great. Lovely little spot to stay with our friends. Would highly recommend, we hope to be back soon 😀 It was all great
- Ruth (8/5): Great, quiet stay - Spotlessly clean. Friendly and very accommodating host/landlord. Great facilities and pretty secure garden for my escape-artist dog! Markeaton park is also nearby - a great trip out for families with children, dogs and just people wanting to spend time outside. Fans and heating working well in the property, so very easy to get to a comfortable temperature. Even dog bags and food and water bowls and a ball were provided! Would definitely recommend! It's not the most touristy location, but I was looking for a quiet couple of days away, so that didn't worry me. There are a lot of steps, so I wouldn't recommend it for somebody with a physical disability, but again, not a problem for me!
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely house and gorgeous garden. Lovely touches from host such as calming music playing on arrival. Everything you could possibly need was available. Easy check in and good communication from host. Park opposite for kids. 5 minutes into town. Parking right outside at front of house. Pet friendly. Nothing
- Ehidiamen (10/5): Exceptional - The art work q
- Steven (9/5): Lovely property in an ideal location - would recommend - Lovely property, beautifully decorated. Ideal location. Brilliant host. Would highly recommend.
- Tricia (10/5): Easy access to the property. The host was very helpful and the stay was cozy and relaxing. -
- Paivi (9/5): Home-like house with more than all necessary facilities for a comfortable stay close to town centre - I needed a place to sleep & shower during a nearby weekend music event that I attended, and this property was more than perfect for me. Great location in a walking distance to Derby Town Centre and even to the train station (although I do like walking; the taxi trip to the train station was £6-9). This lovely house with attention to detail in decorations made me feel very welcomed, and my stay in Derby very comfortable. Downstairs you have a living room, a kitchen area and access to a big private garden. Upstairs you have two double bedrooms and a bathroom (be aware of the stairs should you have mobility problems). The facilities in this property were simply excellent with everything that you would "normally" have at home (and more) including kitchen for self-catering. Unfortunately, during my 3-night stay I did not have enough time to spend in the house to enjoy this all. There is nothing for me to complain about/dislike.
- Anna525 (10/5): A cosy oasis - It was like home from home. Had everything you would need for a comfy stay. Fabulous 2 bedrooms, living space and garden. Can't wait to come back in summer and try the pizza oven.
Anna was so welcoming and helpful. Can't fault it! Exactly what we needed and pet friendly too.
- Kimberley (9/5): Excellent stay - Fantastic facilities, host very responsive and friendly, she also left food which was a great touch. House decorated very well throughout. Garden was lovely, plenty of towels. felt like a home away from home. Dog hair on dark stairs carpet but was dog friendly place so not a complaint, mattresses could have been a little more comfortable.
