• Sandra (8/5): Fantastic place, especially for a large group. Walking distance to the main street and wharf. - The location was excellent, with the best view in Strahan. you can see the boats come and go in the harbour while sitting on the back deck. Facilities were excellent and the whole place was very comfortable. There was a dirty oven tray that hadn't been cleaned from the previous visitor, as well as old, dried milk under the coffee machine. We overlooked this because everything else was fantastic. Hopefully the cleaner does better next time.

• Thomas (10/5): - What a beautiful ocean view from this property. Perfect location walking distance to Strahan town, boat rides and the grocery store. The kitchen is large and very modern - the front porch has ample and comfortable seating.
• Tina OD (8/5): Would come back again. - Location was amazing. Property very well laid out. There was a musty smell in the house, however with the amount of rain Strahan has been having, it's understandable.
• Martin (9/5): - Great location, beautiful views over the bay. Walking distance from the harbour and all other facilities. Spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped. One very small point, it would be appreciated if we had a towel rail (preferably heated) in the shower room.

• Sue (10/5): Bayview short stay 10/10 - Beautiful house in a great location with beautiful views. The house was very clean and spacious and quiet. We only stayed one night but could have stayed for a lot longer. Huge kitchen/dining living area with an extremely comfy lounge overlooking the river. Beds very comfy and clean. Carport right at the door. Short walk to supermarket. Thank you Andrew for providing such a lovely spot for us to stopover. Your communication was great. Large shower head was blocked in part and not flowing properly so we used the smaller hand shower, which worked fine.
• Carl (5/5): Good but needs some care - The view was amazing No clothes dryer, no microwave, one wine glass. It had a washing machine but very difficult to dry clothes. Toaster in laundry cupboard was unusual. Very cold house even with heaters on.

The host communicated details clearly and was very responsive, easy checkin and out. Clean, well equipt, perfect location very close to Strahan village and magnificent view. Cosy, warm, comfortable. Loved it all!
• Jane (6/5): Well appointed house but Heating is an issue in the cold - The house has 4 bedrooms and was comfortable and immaculate. Well set up! We were a couple so had a lot of room This property would be a great option in summer! We came across from Hobart in snow at times so hit a cold patch. The Heat Pump was not adequate and probably could do with replacing. It took overnight running for it to even think about a bit of heat but we never reached comfortably warm. Luckily blankets were available so we draped them around us but it rather spoiled what would have been a lovely stay! The shower was out of body wash!

• Kelly (10/5): Home away from home! - Bayviews was a lovely place to stay with our family. The house was beautifully presented, and the view was amazing. It had everything we needed. The beds are really comfortable, and the living area was a cosy place to hang out and enjoy the amazing view. A short walk will get you to the waterfront, local IGA and shops. Communication with the hosts was excellent. I would highly recommend Bayviews to anyone visiting Strahan.

The house was so much more than we expected. The bedrooms were beautifully set up and the beds were super comfortable. The bathroom had face moisturiser and cleanser which we thought was a nice touch.

Only 4 odd shaped wine glasses for an 8 person house. I did contact them and they gave us 4 more water glasses 🤷‍♀️ Big house with only 1 a/c unit only so back 2 rooms were freezing all weekend.

The house was clean spacious and well equipped with undercover parking - given how much it rains in Strahan, this was greatly appreciated. The property was also within easy walking distance of the supermarket which made self-catering a breeze.

Would definitely recommend if in the area and would stay agai - Location was beautiful, the beds were super comfortable, had a very lovely vibe. We went to use the Webber outside and it was very dirty, so we opted to cook inside and the quality of the frying pan made it quite hard as everything stuck to it.

• Lyn (10/5): The perfect placeto stay. - The house was like a home away from home. The neighborhood was very peaceful. Awesome TV. It's just a great place to stay. This would have to be one of the best holiday places in Strahan. Also, it is near an excellent supermarket and a fantastic coffee shop called The Kitchen. There wasn't anything not to like. All good.

Close proximity to cruise ferries and main bay. Nice that some basic pantry items were available. Handy sheet with places to eat or do takeaway. Bedrooms and beds were a good size. Good WiFi available. The odour in both the laundry and in the separate toilet. Maybe its tankwater(?) that we aren't used and perhaps lack of ventilation in the laundry prior. Missed a handtowel / teatowel to dry dishes and or dishwashing powder or tablets as we didn't bring our own, for that or its a lesson for ourselves to think of that :).

Beds very comfortable, carport for undercover parking, smart TV, modern kitchen and bathroom . Would benefit from additional crockery but otherwise well provisioned. Nice touches in bathroom including providion of Sukin toiletries. Excellent laundry with liquid detergent and undercover clothesline. An outdoor BBQ would have been nice (in our deams.) Owner was prompt and helpful in all correspondence. Overall we had a wonderful time at the house. Could have had towel rails in bathroom rather than hooks.

There is nothing I can complain about this property. Very thoughtfully decorated, one thing, the door lock at the front door need to be changed bit hard to lock .
