Guest Reviews
- Karl (10/5): Perfect getaway in a lovely scenic spot - We were left to it and our privacy was honoured enjoyed a brilliant relaxing accommodation which was well needed after climbing Ben Nevis. Instructions were perfect
. We’d already left before receiving instructions for check out so I apologise if we left the key in the wrong place
- Brittany (9/5): Fantastic time with wonderful facilities - Loved the hot tub and privacy of the decking area. Loved the local touches ie soaps in the shower. Coop right up the road was brilliant Needed some storage for bags/clothes - even something to prop a suitcase up on
- Camille (10/5): Exceptional short stay. Fabulous accommodation! - The property was in a fantastic location, beautiful views of the sea and landscape. Exceptional facilities with a lot of care for detail from the hosts. It was comfortable, warm and accommodating. We had a fabulous stay and an amazing time in the hot tub. Would definitely stay again. Nothing.

- Gangone (10/5): Fabulous, slightly quirkey, great location, kind hosts, well-worth the stay, can’t wait to return. - LOVED it all—the caravan well-equipped for its size, the whiskey and shortbread upon arrival a very nice touch. The outdoor space was magnificent, lovely deck, beautiful birds, adorable chickens, stunning flowers, and fun not tub, great after long hikes. View of the water and the Jacobite Steam Train a plus. Owner friendly! Excellent location vis a vis Ben Nevis and other hiking opportunities. Can’t think of anything.
- mhairi (10/5): Brilliant! - The hut was super clean, and the amenities were of the highest quality. The hot tub was very welcome after days out and the Jacobite at the bottom of the garden was an unexpected bonus for us train geeks. Overall a fabulous stay in a fabulous location.

- Damien (10/5): Beautiful Shepard's Hut, with Hot Tub and Ben Nevis Views - Incredibly well thought out facilities, with clever use of space. Location overlooking the Loch and Ben Nevis, Hot tub was fantastic after a long day's hiking, parking right outside, and great communications/arrival instructions. Will definitely recommend and use again! nothing, everyone was superb
- Ellen (9/5): Really great location to do Ben Nevis (10-15 mins drive) so was perfect for what we wanted - Really cute place to stay. The extras were an added touch (whiskey and flowers) was really homely and nice.
Hot tub is fab. Location is great also . Loved the fire also and the chickens are super cute Hot tub/ outdoor area needs a cover or something for the rain (also for midges- we used the spray bit for bitten so so much!) would have loved to have used to bbq but unfortunately it rained too much
Need a little storage wardrobe or something in the empty space
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing spot, beautifully done out shepherds hut with lots of thoughtful finishing touches, super clean. Gorgeous garden with hot tub with views of the loch and Ben Nevis, would really recommend! 😊
- Suzanne (9/5): Superb -
- Jared (10/5): Exceptional - Nice and clean cozy hut, the bed was comfortable and the wood burning hot tub was excellent.
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (10/5): A great getaway - It is a very cosy property, we loved the whole cabin and how it ustilised all it's space to be so functional! The wee welcome dram went down an absolute treat :)
Reading the hot tub manual was essential though as it was my first time using a log heated one however wood and fire lighters were all supplied and it was a brilliant experience.
There is also a log burner inside the cabin for extra heat which was fantastic.
The location is brilliant being just outside of Fort William with excellent sight seeing opportunities being a nearby walk or drive away.
The docks and a train station are in the immediate area along with a shop and pub if needed.
- Lynsey (10/5): Excellent - Loved the interior of the hut, clean and well thought out with everything you’d need and more.
- Josie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (10/5): The perfect base for Glen Nevis hikes - The hut is fantastically well equipped, we've stayed in a few similar sized hut/cabin spaces and this one is by far the best in that respect. We stayed here as a base for hillwalking around Glen Nevis and we'll definitely stay again in future. It's just a short drive away from lots of Munro walks. What more could you want after a long day in the hills than to come back and relax in your own hot tub! You can even see the top of the Ben from the tub. We had been unsure how private it would feel given the location in the town, but we didn't need to worry about that at all, from the door of the hut you look out over the loch to the hills on the far side and there's very few other houses around that particular spot. A great base for anyone heading to the Fort William area!
- Roisin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dominic (10/5): THE best place we have stayed at - The location was amazing and easy to get to. The place itself was beautiful, very function and full of niceties. Clearly a lot of thought had gone into the place. Fresh milk, orange juice and local biscuits were left for us and the hot tub was brilliant and very easy to use. The whole place was beautiful, better than the photos and everything worked perfectly. Was very warm too. Gorgeous views of the mountains from the place and hot tub. Can’t fault it in anyway. The best place we’re stayed at.
- Anastasia (9/5): Amazing tiny house ambience with a bonus hot tub! Sweet and cozy, perfect for couples! - Modern, clean and well-equipped tiny house, perfect for couples or young parents with a baby. The house has everything you need. The hot tub is a big bonus to the property and a great recipe after long hikes in the mountains! Amazing stay! It would have been nice to have some sort of cover or a sheltered spot to sit outside during the rainy weather.
- Alexandra (10/5): excellent accommodation - everything was absolutely perfect. the place and how is located is just surreal. the hut is very high standard, from every detail inside as well the owners. we had whiskey and biscuits waiting for us on the table when we arrive, the hot tube with burning fire is absolutely out of this world, the whole place and experience was the best. very close to train station, amazing view of Ben Nevis directly from the hut, also we could see the steam train from inside. it was by far my favourite holiday and my favourite place as accommodation. highly recommend. thank you again, Marta and Alexander. you've made our stay really special. 🙏❤️ nothing to add here. everything was superb!
- Manuela (10/5): Exceptional - Every inch of this charming little place is well planned and utilised. So much comfort in so little space, amazing! The dinner table transforms into a comfy bed in less then a minute, a very clever concept and a huge gain of space. The hot tub is just great and the location, too. We really enjoyed our stay there 😊
- Emma (9/5): Perfect - Loved all of it! The outdoor area was beautiful- ideal location for climbing Ben Nevis.
The cabin itself is done to a very high standard and would highly recommend for a short stay!
- Kate (10/5): Amazing stay here! Could not recommend more. -
- Mary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Abdullah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Douglas (10/5): Superb - Perfect for my stay while bagging Munro's. Really first class accommodation given the nature of the set up. Very clean and tidy and very nice touch with the Jacuzzi, although I did not use this trip. My one suggestion is to put another shelf below where towels and bath robes kept to help with food storage as space/storage in kitchen area naturally is tight.
- Diane (10/5): Beautiful and private small rustic cabin - It felt incredibly private whilst still being on the owners property, the hot tub was amazing and the whole place was beautifully done. The owners clearly put a lot of work into making everyone’s stay lovely and we really appreciated all the extras and little details they included. Amazing property, well worth the money!
- Samantha (10/5): Cutest little accomodation near Fort William. Highly recommended for a serene and relaxing stay. - Everything was perfect!! The trailer is absolutely adorable with all the comforts of a self catering apartment. Especially loved the wood burning hot tub, the chicken coop at the end of the garden, and the snacks and treats left for us to enjoy by the owners. Made for a magical stay.
- Clair (10/5): Small but perfectly formed. - This is a really special place, the finish inside is excellent and the space has been used well. Everything has a quality feel and the hot tub was a real added bonus. The only downside was hearing the road traffic but it didn’t take away from how great this place. Would definitely recommend to others.
