Guest Reviews
- Andy (8/5): -
- Barbara (8/5): Very comfortable property in a sunny position. - Very reasonably priced, a comfortable property to use as a base, with all the basics you require when on holiday. Nothing.
- Karl (8/5): A great stay for our family visit to Devon. - Ideal location about 15 minute walk to the Amusements, Train Station. 10 Minute Walk to a Pub, Chip Shop and Chinese Restaurant. Host great
Communication.
- David (8/5): A nice holiday enjoyed by all - Site has close proximity to the beach. All the essentials were provided in the caravan. Karen, who manages the caravan we had, was very helpful, polite and always available for any enquiries we had Overall a very enjoyable holiday. Many thanks Karen. Changeable weather. Maybe a smart tv would be a good addition, but that's just a minor dislike.
- Simon (10/5): - Comfortable accommodation and beautiful location
- Keith (9/5): -
- Brown (10/5): Homey, inviting & cosey. - This was the most homey, inviting static I've stayed in.. I came for a long weekend alone to just relax and chill. Ticked all my boxes! I'd stay again and recommend 😊 oh, and at just shy of 6ft I could stand tall in the shower, which had good pressure!
- Richard (10/5): Quiet, relaxing and pleasant - Very hospitable from Karen fromthe courtesy call the morning of our stay before we'd even left to get there all the way to the phone call on the way home to say I'd forgotten my jacket and it would get posted back to me. It was out of season so didn't expect a lot going on but found a few places to go and things to do and with it being quiet we got to relax.
- kayleigh (10/5): Lovely caravan! - The location was perfect, a short walk to the shops, dawlish Warren arcade, and takeaways. The caravan was clean and comfortable, and the owners were lovely. Would definitely recommend it. Nothing
- Paul (9/5): Well equipped caravan, clean and comfortable at a good price point. Karen was a fab host. - Caravan was in a quiet location within the park away from the onsite entertainment but close to the beach and a variety of local eateries as well as a bakery and small supermarket. Dawlish Warren train station is a five minute walk if travelling by train. Had excellent food from the Thai street food van alongside the supermarket and nice clean fish and chips from Deans Plaice by the train station. Dawlish town is easily accessible and worth a visit if you fancy a browse. Daisy’s did a fab cream tea! My wife and I had an enjoyable week staying at Sunblast and Dawlish Warren and have no negatives to comment upon from our viewpoint. Karen was a good communicator throughout. We would recommend as a result.
- Neil (10/5): It was a nice good week - This was my first stay here it was a lovely experience and nice caravan too I will be back again next year Everything was fine no problems at all which was good
- anne (10/5): A cosy property which was very reasonably priced. - This was a cosy, home from home stay, the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. We especially liked the main bedroom which was very spacious with its own toilet and sink. The property was all clean. Karen went out of her way to contact us, meet us and make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you All good
- Frank (9/5): A pleasant and comfortable stay. - The caravan is located on a well maintained park which is hilly where the caravans are randomly sited providing an open pleasant surrounding.
The caravan itself was clean and comfortable with a veranda both back and front catching the sun morning and afternoon.
Karen our host was very friendly and helpful. Everything was fine, no comment to make here.
- Pajak (10/5): - bardzo miła obsługa wygodne łóżka wszystko w dobrym porządku
- Michele (4/5): Give it a miss - Karen was very pleasant The caravan should not of been let out all the things that needed updating, it also smelled strange like the fabric on furniture and cushions smelled sweaty, the radiators were all rusty but I was told that they hadn't time to paint them but her husband said they were having trouble getting new ones so what were we to believe. The patio furniture was all wet and the chairs were rusty and not fit to use.On the facilities it said there was a sea view and a beach.
You had to walk over a mile to see any sea or beach .The bed linen and towels were very old also it said there was no feather pillows but there was a feather mattress cover .Overall a very disappointed.
- Ionut (1/5): - We liked spending as much time as possible out of this dog smelling urin drenched caravan. When shown around by Karen looked lovely, but the oven was filthy, air fryer dirty, carpets soaked in dog urin my kids clothes was stinking after sat on floor and sofa..furniture cellotaped together, radiator filthy, every cup and plate was dirty, we was itchy constantly to the point we left early and left keys in kitchen.
- Sally (9/5): Great caravan in a great location - Very nice caravan in a great location. It had everything we needed & is great value for money. We were able to check in early & our host Karen was lovely. Nothing
- Marco (9/5): - We werden zeer warm welkom geheten. Het verblijf was erg compleet. Ondanks de leeftijd van de caravan was het schoon. Er waren voldoende handdoeken en we hebben een toegangspas voor het zwembad gekregen.
- Guest (10/5): A home from home - Karen was very welcoming when we arrived and went through everything with us to help us settle in. The caravan was lovely and exactly what we asked for, the location was great and our two year old had lots of fun exploring. We enjoyed the club and the food we had was lovely from there. We also enjoyed a Chinese and chippy which were close by. Nothing
- Claire (1/5): Never again unless you like filth! - Nothing at all! It’s old, smelly and needs to be taken off booking.com! The list is long, smelly worn and pet smelling sofas. Smokers have been in the property prior to our arrival.
Urine soaked rusty radiators in both bathrooms. Previous occupants toiletries left down the side of bedside tables along with months of cobwebs.
Tired and dirty crockery, cutlery and kitchen equipment.
The shower head was held up with cable ties!
- Nicola (9/5): - The location within the park, quiet area. Easily accessible and handy parking. Lovely caravan with plenty of room for the 5 of us that it didn't feel like a caravan. Loved the facilities, pool and restaurant. Superb value. We all had a lovely time. Apart from not wanting to leave, the cutlery was rather grubby, so needed a good wash. The steps up were a bit creaky and felt a bit unstable.
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional - Caravan was very clean, had everything you needed. Karen was excellent. Within easy reach of the beach and public transport. Nothing.
- Turner (10/5): The perfect family getaway. - Karen was so welcoming and the caravan was made to feel so homely. Very comfy beds, has everything you need.
Having a child on the spectrum, it was perfectly located to the beach. We went there everyday. The scenery is stunning..
You can take a walk into Dawlish too which on a glorious day I would definitely recommend.
Brilliant holiday all round. Thank you Karen. We will be back. 😊
- P.layer1 (9/5): We would definitely make a return visit. - The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the accommodation was within easy walking distance of the beach and local amenities including a well stocked convenience store, fast food outlets and pubs, It would have been useful to have two keys, but I understand this was being considered
- Paul (10/5): Lovely short break to explore Exeter and surrounding area - Location for Dawlish Warren and wider exploring was perfect. Able to get out of the park very quickly without having to navigate the usual caravan park maze. Local bakery, shop and food places are easily walkable in minutes.
The caravan has a modern Freely TV so you can watch all the main channels but you can also use apps like Youtube, BBC Iplayer etc so you'll never be short of something to watch in the evening if you are worn out after a day at the beach or exploring Devon.
Big fridge and freezer to keep your pop, cans or milk cool and freeze your ice blocks for the beach.
Karen was lovely and keeps the caravan lovely and clean, spot on with her directions to get into the site from the M5. Nothing.
- Franco (9/5): Superb -
- Claire (9/5): Superb -
- Fiona (10/5): Perfect stay - We had a lovely weekend in the caravan perfect for 3 of us with the bed settee as a 3rd room.
Caravan is well kept and clean, bedding and towels provided. It is in the perfect spot as only a 10 minute walk to the beach, bars and train station. Good wifi signal and TV in the lounge and bedroom. Nice outdoor furniture front and back to sit in the sun. Beds very comfortable even the twins.
Karen was brilliant, so helpful on the phone directing us how to find the caravan when we arrived, letting us check in early, and contacted us to make sure everything was ok and we had what we needed for our stay.
- Elizabeth (8/5): Extremely pleasant. - Great location. Very clean with everything you need. Karen - who looks after the caravan - was very friendly and helpful. Just needs a few things need refreshing . But it did not spoil our stay
- Bruton (8/5): Great location for seafront - Meet the lovely Karen who showed us around the caravan. The caravan was an older type van but clean and comfortable, and we think it is located on the best side of the park to walk to the seafront.
We found lot's of people had to drive to the sea from the top part of the site, so was nice to leave the car in its private parking place. Na
- Susie (9/5): Ideal location to enjoy Dawlish Warren with great facilities. - Perfect place to enjoy Dawlish Warren and all the area has to offer. Just a 10min walk to the beach passing cafes, takeaways etc thanks to being on the beach side of the park. Reliable fast wifi. Check in very easy and friendly. Hot shower and lots of cooking facilities if you fancy something other than fish and chips. Spotless, comfy, peaceful and welcoming.

- Jenna (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely stay very clean & comfortable good location for my family to explore Devon Thankyou so much
- Kathryn (10/5): Exceptional - Just got back from a fantastic stay at Dawlish. The caravan was perfect clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our holiday, home from home. Location was great. 15 min walk to the beach and the shops and bakery just on your doorstep. Karen and Dave were fantastic hosts very informative, great communication and it was a pleasure to meet them both. The site was great too, children really enjoyed the Krazy Crew, all staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The park on site was also a great location for this particular caravan and the children had lots of fun here too. N/A
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional - Caravans a great base.
Clean & tidy & very functional.
Great location (over looks the fishing lake) & the right end of the park
Right over from the laundry block
Everything you need is provided (and then some)
Pleasure to meet Karen who is an asset (fountain of knowledge if you've never been around here before), nothings to much trouble .
A perfect break away. Nothing not to like.
If I'm being picky I prefer a hard matress but thats a personal preference and not a huge issue for a few nights, the bed is soft & comfy and I did sleep well.
- Clare (8/5): Great price for the money we paid. Thank you to Karen. - Beautifully clean caravan. Located just a 10 min walk from the shops, bakery, beach, pub and fair. Small veranda at the back of the caravan which was a lovely evening sun trap. Small grass area for kids to play. A great place to stay for families. Didn’t use the on-site amenities, but the site was pristine.
- Geoff (10/5): Great find. - Karen and Dave could not have been more helpful. Location on site was great for us - no hills to climb. Caravan was very clean and well equipped. Would certainly go back. Coming home.

- Shaun (8/5): Ideal location to visit local area . If you have kids it has WiFi and near fair, arcades, beach - Really good location you walk to the fair and shops and food outlets saves you paying parking. The site wants 65 pound for passes so i didn't bother just went swimming to Dawlish leisure center. And used arcades and food in town. Its ideally located to visit Dawlish Warren . Dawlish Town an teignmouth. Torquay is only 10 miles away too.
