• Alexandra (10/5): Authentic, good value - Authentic, we enjoyed being hosted by a local, she met us on the square and took us upstairs. The weather was cold so we couldn't enjoy the terrace too much, but it's very nice up there. The bed was comfy, we slept really well. The kitchen is well equipped, you need to switch around some plugs and sockets, but there was everything, we even used the washing machine. We got a lovely souvenir from signora Linda at check-out. It was a little cold, almost as outside (15-17°C in February), but there's an AC which works well. You need to take out your own trash, we struggled to throw it away in Catania, we took it all the way to Messina in the car.
• Stewart (7/5): OK for a short stay. - Welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts - particularly welcome that they helped carry the bags up the many stairs. Clean apartment, if a little small. Only about 20 minutes to walk into the centre where there was a good choice of restaurants. Long, narrow staircase. A bit smaller than expected.
• D.welsh (10/5): Charming appartment in Catania - Vacanzella is a top floor apartment full of local character, featuring a beautiful terrace that overlooks a local street. The quiet appartment is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Wonderful and very helpfull host greeted us upon arrival and handed us the keys. The AC was very strong, althouth we found pleasantly cool inside even during hot temperatures outside. We had a very good sleep and enjoyed our stay in this charming appartment, specially we enjoyed the terace for long morning breakfast and late in the evenings with a cold drinks. Although we bought daily bus tickets we hardly needed them, as the place is located within walking distance of the heart of Catania. We can only recoment this home to explore Catania and nearby beaches and towns. Everthing was good.

We also agreed to do a check-out a bit later. The view from the terrace was beautiful and a place seemed to be very authentic and cosy. Nothing

• Meike (8/5): Great for a City Trip - From the apartment you can reach the center of Catania within 15-20 minutes. The apartment is in a quiet area. To get to the apartment you have to go through the hall of the owner. she is very friendly. The apartment is clean and furnished with love for details. It has a small kitchen with basic equipment. the terrace is beautiful. The appartement is great for a city trip.
• Jelena (10/5): Exceptional - The place was very authentic. It had lots of catanian local vibe. 10 min walking from the heart of the city center. Around the corner you can find great local street food for very affordable price (really cheap👍 and really testy). We absolute loved the restaurant that our host suggested, so when you stay ask for an advice where to go. It has cosy balcony where you can enjoy a glass of wine with a great city view. There is a kitchen with all essential stuff. All of the facilities in the flat are on same floor, so it is very private. Perfect for couples. Our host Linda did extra mile having us at her house. She was very helpful and friendly. We felt like at home. Highly recommend! Nothing

• Zelefrion (9/5): Climatic stay - Helpful and nice host, kitchen and bathroom were well equipped - kitchen had a welcome kit consisting of chips, drinks and some sweets whereas bathroom had soap, shampoo, shower gel, ear buds and more. The terrace is very pleasant to stay on as it has many plants (which you can water while staying for a longer period). It was also clean for Italian standards (if you are from more like Northern Europe you may notice the difference between Mediterranean countries and Baltic ones in that matter - I do) nothing really
