• Gavin (3/5): Disappointing. We wouldn’t consider returning nor can we recommend it. - The location was not bad. We were checked into the wrong apartment. An hour later after we had fully unpacked and got everything working (eg the bedroom fan which hadn’t been working on arrival) the host discovered their mistake and essentially frogmarched us to the correct (much inferior) apartment, which also lacked basic amenities such as no functioning coffee maker. We had to order coffee, when the nearby coffee shop was open.

• Lebo (7/5): Beautiful place overall, modern and ideally placed next to the beach. - The space is so modern and beautiful. The kitchen is fully equipped which allowed me to stay in on my tired days. The area is overlooking the ocean, which makes it ideal for relaxing Couldn't sleep much the first night as my sinuses were ignited by the bedding. There was traces of fur since this is a pet friendly accommodation, I shouldn't have felt that though. I asked for a change of bedding the following morning. My toilet had a pungent smell

• Eva (7/5): - The view from the appartment, over the ocean was stunning So also, the layoutand colours of the kitchen and lounge area, which we really enjoyed. Location very close, walking distance to Beach and Ballito main beach road. Unfortunately, the entire first day and following morning was overshadowed by lack of sufficient kitchen utensiles, plates, glasses, knives, kitchen towels, oven gloves. etc., to be expected in this type of appartment. Not even basics. For me, the hostess of invited friends; a huge embarrassement. Very little understanding or urgency from staff and I had to repeatedly beg to have it sorted. In the end, after midday the second day, it was sorted and from then, it was OK and fully equipped, but regretfully, the first day and impression was spoilt. Then, of course a matter of taste and fashion, but black sheets do not feel and look the same as white do. We had to ask / instruct the staff to please cut the grass on terrace.

• Kopano (1/5): Disappointing and misleading. - The wallpaper was peeling off. The microwave electric cord was taped. Some of the door handles were loose. Worst of all the host made an error on our date of arrival. Upon arrival, we were informed by the host that we had booked a smaller unit despite us having booked a bigger unit what was astonishing was her informing us that this often happens with their accommodation. The property is not as good looking as on the pictures

• William (10/5): Our best holiday yet!! - The layout was fantastic, with a beautiful sea view out front and the garage and parking area out the back, which was super handy. The place felt very safe with the electric gate and electric shutters on the windows as well as the staff member who stayed on site and was available on WhatsApp every day. The Cleaners did an amazing job making the place tidy every day despite our big golden retriever running through leaving dirty paw prints every day the place was spotless. I know there may have been other cleaners but we would like to mention Latrisha for her amazing attention to detail and kind demeanor when we spoke to her. Our laundry was also included in the cost of the stay and came back lovely and folded! Thankyou Latrisha!! The location was also great, you could walk to beaches but we mostly used our car with the dog and it took us less than 4 or 5 mins to be on the beach. We were also always able to get hold of the owner Iryna and she was super lovely and accommodating, replies were almost instantly and check in was easy and smooth. We would absolutely recommend this stay in Ballito. Great value for money and we will be back, next time with our whole family!! We thought it would be a good idea to add a Freezer as we couldn't have nice cold drinks at home or icecream etc.

• Jack (10/5): This is a beautifully designed, modern-contemporary spot with a perfect beachside location (5 minutes' walk) that - Perfect location, literally 5 mins walk to the beach. The modern-contemporary design is instagram-able. You can do 10-15 mins drive to shopping complexes with Woolies/PnP/Food Lovers for all your necessities. You can host your friends/family on a long dinning table for brunches and dinners. The electric-toilet that can clean and/or warm your bum was the cherry on top. Only has showers. No bath tub in the main bedroom was a miss for me. A beautiful place like this deserves a standalone bathtub to setup the mood after a long day.

• Grethe (10/5): I felt like a Queen - it was simply out of this world. - The property is exquisite and very luxurious. It is also pet-friendly which was the most important to me. There is a lovely garden with a beautiful sea view. The host and staff were exceptional, and the facilities lacked nothing. The unit is secure with added security and beautiful lights which made my stay even more pleasant and comfortable. The property is walking distance from the beach. There is also a lock up garage for parking. The host has outdone herself with comfort and luxury for her guests. There is nothing to complain about.

• Naidoo (10/5): An Amazing Beach Holiday in Ballito - My stay at Flamenco was amazing. Loved the breathtaking views of the ocean, and beautiful sunrise in the morning. Appreciated the unit being pet fully fenced so that my dogs could not escape and the close walking distance to the nearby beach. The house was very modern with artistic decor and special amenities such smart toilets, a massaging bed and even an elevator (for wheelchair users). The caretaker (Professor) was also on hand to help us with any queries or anything we needed. Thank you to our lovely host Iryna for making our first holiday in Ballito a really special and memorable one. Hope to be back soon. Nothing in particular, but perhaps a few recommendations to include the following for added convenience: conventional electric kettle (for those not accustomed to boiling water on a gas stove using a whistling kettle), and an ice maker.

• Matthew (10/5): Beyond expectations! - I can safely say that this was by far the best accommodation I've experienced. The host, Iryna, was very welcoming and accommodating, if i had any queries she would respond within minutes and help me with anything i needed. The apartment was very modern and luxurious and had an automatic smart toilet, which i wanted to take with me by the time i left :) The place was immaculately clean, with beautiful finishes that tied the whole place together. It was also very secure, with proper shutter doors that you could close at night for extra security if you wanted, even though the location of the accommodation is very secure. And the best of it all was the view. The ocean view was phenomenal, it was a dream come true to wake up with such a breathtaking view. Overall, the 10/10 rating doesn't do it justice. You have to experience it yourself. I am definitely coming back here on my next stay in Ballito.

No aircon in the living area, lift as advertised not available to use, Upstairs fan looks as if the celling is going to collapse, Glass doors dont align in the living area, making it very difficult to close, monkeys enter the premises as a result, We were not informed of the roller doors at check in.

• Jun (3/5): It is not worth it. - Good location at the centre of Balito. We stayed four nights at this place. It has decent interior but most of kitchenware are very old and number of dishes and cups are not even enough for four people. Linens were not clean enough. We struggled with very noisy guest until 2am. No sound proof at all and even staff were noisy in the morning. We paid almost R9000 per night but it is not worth that money at all.

• Juani (10/5): FABULOUS!!!!!!! - Firstly I want to say that "Professor" was a awesome host and cleaner as well the owner, Iryna! They are the most awesome people I have ever met in my life! So friendly and came to ask if we need anything, but the best of all, you have never ever experienced a place to stay with comfort and technology that I experienced for the first time in my life in 47 years! We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit, it was stunning, the view out of this world, nice and spacious, we even could see dolphins swimming in the see. I can only say it was the best stay in my whole damn life! Thanks Iryna and Professor!!!

Views are amazing and the facility has everything you could think of. Very secure with double garage for vehicles / trailers, 6 of us stayed there and we were never tripping over each other. The king size bed was beyond comfortable. And on checkout I received freshly baked bread that tasted divine. I will definitely be returning as I was made to feel like royalty. Can't fault them.
