It was a feel of home. The ambiance was so peaceful. Just what we needed. The venue, location all truly a hidden gem of a place. We saw dolphins and seals playing in the bay. That was awesome to witness. Nothing to complain about.

Our host, Karien, went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable and had what we needed to enjoy our stay. There’s a personal touch in everything that they do and would absolutely love to go back again. The location is perfect and waking up to the roar of the ocean was simply amazing. Loved everything about the property and have nothing to complain about.

She communicated well and went over and above to make sure that our stay was comfortable and that we had everything that we needed in the unit. • Taren (1/5): - I had booked Sandspoor way in advance and paid 50% deposit as per the requirement. My booking was made about 6 months in advance for a busy period in Dec, commencing 20th Dec, which includes flights already booked to CT. On 3rd December, I messaged the host to just confirm if all was in order only to discover to my shock and horror that she stated she could not find my booking. Apparently, my booking was canceled. Then she said she made another booking too. If I did not message, I would have got to the accomdation with no actual accommodation! I understand human errors occurred, but do we not do proper accounting. The host then offered me a tiny little room that had no self-catering equipment. What disappointed me was that she admitted that I made the booking 1st but chose to give the booking to someone who booked more nights. I booked 3. At the last minute I had to go scrambling around to find alternative accommodation. I was very disappointed because i had to pay a much higher rate for new accommodationelsewhere as im now booking at the last minute which was an absolute struggle to find. .

Die Einrichtung war zweckmässig. Es hatte alles in der Küche was man brauchte, sehr angenehm. Die Dusche war herrlich gross. Das Bett superbequem. Snowy der 4 beinige Besucher total süss. Das Bad hätte an einigen Stellen etwas Nachhilfe gebraucht. Die abgelegene Lage mit der kargen Landschaft , war nicht meins. Sehr abgeschieden, keine Bäckerei oder ein Caffee.
• Holm (10/5): Außergewöhnlich - Die Lage direkt am Meer könnte nicht besser sein. Die Vermieter reagieren schnell und zuverlässig. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht – super sauber und praktisch eingerichtet. Das große Bett ist sehr bequem. Ein süßer, kleiner Hund begleitet gerne bei einem Strandspaziergang, während der große Hund in seinem Bereich bleibt. Für das Wohlbefinden gibt es Sanitärartikel, Milch, Wasser, Kaffee, Cappuccino-Tütchen und kleine, köstliche Kuchen. Netflix steht zur Verfügung, oder man genießt einfach die Ruhe zum Entschleunigen. Jeden Morgen lassen sich Delfine in Strandnähe beobachten. Außerdem gibt es einen fest installierten Grill, der täglich gereinigt wird. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Karien and Jaco have created a very special place for holiday makers. Their attention to detail can not be faulted! This was a week of bliss. Good for your soul! We loved our stay.
• TiGerd (9/5): Meer! Meer! Meer! - Die Aussicht ist der Hit! Küche war gut ausgestattet. Bett bequem. Delfine und große Vögelschwärme sind optimal zu beobachten von hier. Ruhige Atmosphäre. Aufmerksame Haushunde, die alles bewachten. Schade, dass es auf der Veranda keine Liegestühle gab. Die Bänke waren leider sehr unbequem.

The access to the beach, the nature, the peace and quiet but best of all the attention to detail we received from Karien, our hostess. She went out of her way to make our stay as memorable as possible. Even the staff were very professional and friendly. We will most definitely be back. Literally a piece of heaven on earth!

The location is amazing, right on a beautiful and secluded beach front. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer. The host is excellent and went out of her way to ensure we had a memorable stay. I can highly recommend. Nothing not to like.

The dolphins was the cherry on the cake. The room was neat and clean upon arrival. We were asked if we needed our room cleaned after our first night which was nice. Karien checked in and was very sweet. We were made extra special with a welcome board and a snack on our beds. They went the extra mile to treat little one as well with a juice box, games and beach toys. Would 110% recommend this place! There's nothing you can dislike about this place.

Did a linen and towel change mid stay (3rd day )- never experience that before. Karien was always accommodating and giving information / advice. Watson was great and helpful. We will definitely suggest this to anyone who would like a break-away to a gem - Location was excellent, the owners personally welcomed us and we felt at home from the first moment we arrived, spacious unit with incredible attention to detail, well-equipped facilities (more that we could hope for), quiet and tranquil setting, breathtaking views. I cannot think of one aspect.
• Mohamed (10/5): Tranquility with dolphins - It is one of the best places we have visited. The tranquility and beauty of the beach at our doorstep was so healing. Watching the dolphins in the mornings while having our coffee made it extra special. Karien, Jaco, and Watson made sure we had everything we needed and more. The attention to little details makes it a place I would love to visit again. I had to leave.
• Peter (10/5): We are working on visiting interesting but peaceful breakaway locations and this place meets - The location and views of the sea especially early morning and at sunset. Attention to detail with everything we needed. The garden was filled with a variety of plant species and needs a quiet inspection to see what's there. Watching the small birds at the water holes. Walking the beach before the wind picks up. The daily visits from the small fluffy 'security' dog. The sand road leading to the unit was very corrugated. The strong wind on our arrival day was hectic and we needed to baton down the hatches.

I don’t want to go back home 🥲 - This was one of the most beautiful places that i have ever been to.🥰 Neatness, Beautiful sea views, stunning cottage with attention to detail, freshest bedding and towels, all overloaded. It felt like i was in a dream when i walked into the cottage. I have never been so close to the ocean. I had the best sleep ever. The sound of the ocean and the comfortable bed was amazing. The host Karien was such a darling. She made our stay most comfortable. What a beautiful soul.🤗. The memory of Sandspoor will be one that will live in me forever and a daily reminder that life is short and precious and I have and am still enjoying it to the fullest. My favourite place. They went out of their way to make us comfortable, even in the midst of an extended power outage. Secluded, quiet and beautiful. We even went kayaking with dolphins all around us, which was such a treat!!! Thank you so so much 🙏🏽

The well equipped kitchen, the huge indoor braai with split cooking areas for those windy cold and rainy nights! Llots of thoughtfully provided firewood! Great rooms! Washing machine! Tumble dryer! Even a littletrolley with kiddy toys to drag down to the beach! Spectacular! I liked everything! OK, maybe a metal poker at the braai could add value! Loved the short travelling distance from CT, the area, the property is sooo well located, right in the ocean. The sound of the waves in the morning is amazing. Spotted some dolphins too. The hosts were amazing and allowed Rocky(dog) to stay with us for a bit!!!So many reasons to go back again soon! Nothing.

There is no shelter in the patio area to braai with only a tiny little braai. Can be extremely windy so some kind of wind protection that allows you to still sit outside would be amazing.

Accommodations were very clean and comfortable. It gets very hot in the room during the day and a fan just doesn’t work well enough, an air on would be great. That being said, we weren’t in the room much during the day.

The hosts are very accommodating and friendly. They went out of their way to assist. Not happy that our stay was only for 4 nights - we need to go back for longer.

We were greeted by Watson who was so friendly and helped carry our bags inside. The flatlet has amazing views directly out onto the beach and the ocean. We watched dolphins and Whales playing in the bay in the morning as we were drinking our coffee. Didn't think of bring binoculars! Karien and Jaco have thought of every little detail- Like hot chocolate, sweetener, fresh fruit, flowers, fresh milk, water, juice in the fridge, herbs and spices etc. The queen size bed was so comfortable and the electric blanket was cosy. Our girls had the sofa bed and enjoyed the games and colouring. Be aware you are all in one open plan room. There were torches for load shedding and back up Wi-Fi from next door, a gas fire and gas plate to boil water in load shedding. Could not recommend this flatlet more! Nothing. Just perfect, and perfect hosts.
• Nicole (10/5): Paradise on Earth 🌎 - Everything was spectacular. It was a little bit of paradise on Earth. The host was amazing. She was extremely welcoming and accommodating. She made contact with me prior to our arrival to assist with directions and time of arrival. The accommodation exceeded our expectations... The view was amazing... actually, it was breathtaking. The garden was soo pretty and the ocean view was even more beautiful. The accommodation had everything that you could think of( even up to a pad, plaster, grandpa, etc). We went during winter, so the heater and heated blankets were absolutely a cherry on top. In essence ... the host definitely goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable . We loved every second of our stay. The only regret we have was only booking for one day.
