There is a microwave, an induction cooking top, a kettle, a coffee machine, a fridge, but no cutlery or crockery. So how can one make use of the kitchen facility??? Coffee capsules and teabags are provided, but there is a charge of €1 per each teabag/capsule ! - No proper reception. Whilst the lady who was sometimes present at a desk did her best to be helpful, her English was limited.
- Okada (1/5): The manager lied about issuing a refund and made me check out, fraudulently taking the payment for eight nights that I n - It’s very clean and stylish. The air conditioning works perfectly, and there are no issues such as difficulty controlling the shower’s hot water. I was scammed out of €920 by this accommodation. I originally booked a 10-night stay, but although it was clearly advertised as “soundproof,” there was absolutely no soundproofing at all. The room directly across the hallway from mine was an office, and I could constantly hear the male employees’ phone conversations and smartphone notification sounds from early in the morning. I also felt embarrassed, thinking that every sound I made in my room could be heard from the office. Because of this, on the second day of my stay, I told the manager that I wanted to cancel the rest of my stay. The manager readily agreed and said they would refund the remaining eight nights, claiming that the refund process had already been submitted to Booking.com and that Booking.com was “processing it.” However, no refund was ever made. Ten days later, when I followed up, the manager ignored my messages, so I contacted Booking.com directly. They confirmed that the accommodation had never submitted any refund request. The accommodation falsely claimed that they “couldn’t reach Booking.com by phone.” Later, when Booking.com followed up with them a second time to demand the refund, I was informed that the accommodation suddenly declared they would refuse the refund. They lied multiple times about processing the refund, made me check out after only two nights, and stole €920 from me. This is a clear case of fraud and a serious criminal act. I have gathered sufficient evidence regarding this matter, and according to the law, I am confident that I can recover the money that was unjustly taken from me. I intend to proceed to the next stage of legal action.

Les trains pour Florence sont nombreux et le trajet rapide, environ 15mns. La chambre est très propre et confortable. La personne à l'accueil nous a toujours renseignés avec beaucoup de gentillesse.

We spoke to a member of the front desk called Giampaolo who was super lovely and helped us make our stay stress free and very pleasant from check in to check out, thank you! The property was immaculate, very clean, tidy and equipped with all the amenities one would need. I will be booking this property whenever I return to Prato! N/A

Host was very responsive and helpful. - Spotlessly clean, room tidy every day, little bar fridge, located easy stroll to old town and great cafes It didn't say on the listing that the closest railway station was Prato porta de serragli so I got off at Centrale which made for a long walk on a hot Sunday when there were no taxis around. The other station is super close to the property :-)

- George (10/5): Exceptional - Lucentum is the place to go if you're ever visiting Prato or Firenze. The place is conveniently located just outside the old city walls in a no traffic restrictions zone but still very close to all the restaurants in Prato. The Prato Porta al Serraglio train station is just a 12m pleasant walk away and it's the best way to reach the center of Florence in just 25m. Now, Lucentum gives you the possibility to safely park in their private gated parking lot, easily accessible with a code at any hour. You also get access to a private patio to enjoy your coffee in the mornings or glass of wine in the evenings .The rooms are spacious, modern, bright and EXTREMELY clean (we stayed in Sol). You get all the necessary amenities and a very comfy bed. The daily cleaning service leaves your room spotless each time. Giampaolo is an amazing host, extremely friendly and helpful. We'll definitely book again next time we come around.

- Irena (9/5): Hidden Gem in Prato. - I was pleasantly surprised by this gem in Prato. The location is great (for where I needed to be) and the hotel is charming. The room was spacious and lovely. It provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this property to my friends that work and visit Prato often. Nothing to dislike. Everything was great.
