• Ammanjot (6/5): Pleasant but be prepared for it to be loud - The location is fantastic, a great suite with support from front desk staff when needed. For the price point, it was a great selection given the location, and cleanliness of the property. The property is very loud, naturally in the heart of a busy neighbourhood but beyond that, it felt like the glass was very thin, we asked front desk for ear plugs which helped.

Zoals bijna overal in Mexico-Stad was er aan de straatkant veel verkeerslawaai. Omdat er geen airco is, moet je de deuren wel openzetten. Anders wordt het veel te warm. Verder was de verlichting in de keuken erg slecht.

Las instalaciones muy bonitas y está cómodo para ir con amigos. El servicio. Cuando llegamos nos dijeron que había un depósito extra que después nos devolverían en caso de que hubiera algún daño. Esto lo entiendo, pero en ningún lado lo decía explícitamente. Pedí que me mostraran la evidencia de en dónde decía, pero ni siquiera en su "evidencia" se explicaba como tal. Si van a pedir un depósito pónganlo en donde se lea desde el primer momento. Así le hacen todos los hospedajes y tú decides si lo tomas o no. Aquí fue casi una obligación y si lo decía estaba super escondido. ¿Por? Desde que llegamos no hubo luz y tuvimos que subir las maletas 4 pisos por las escaleras. Entiendo que esas son cosas que no están en su control, pero en la noche, por ende, no había agua ya que no se llenó la cisterna. Nunca hubo de su parte una intención de pedir una pipa o la atención de darnos agua. Era un viaje compartido, obviamente necesitábamos agua. Tuvimos que incurrir en gastos extras para 1. Ir a un lugar con internet y 2. Ir por un garrafón de agua para lavarnos dientes, jalar la cadena, etc. Suelo ser muy paciente y comprensiva con estas cosas, pero la falta de solución de su parte es lo que molesta. El check-out es a las 10 a.m. Lo mínimo que pudieron haber hecho era dejarnos al menos una hora más para salir con calma. 9:55 llegaron a tocar la puerta muy fuerte (cuando ya estábamos por salir) solo para que pudieran empezar su limpieza. Al salir nos dijeron que el depósito nos lo devolvían después de las 2, una vez que revisaran que todo estaba en orden. Esto obviamente genera desconfianza, después de todo lo que pasó ¿no podían ir a revisarlo en ese momento y darnos nuestro dinero antes de irnos? Nos quedamos con una muy mala impresión porque el lugar no estuvo precisamente barato y no llegó a cumplir lo mínimo de lo que pagamos. Por el precio les prometo que hay mejores hospedajes.

• Adele (6/5): Great location, some things to improve - Location is excellent and apartment was clean. Staff organisation is a little poor - we were sent up to a room where other people had already checked in as staff had sent the wrong message on WhatsApp to me and another person, giving them access to what should have been our room. It was late so we were able to check into another room, staff were really polite and friendly, and then the next day had to move rooms back to the original one. I had to explain to 2 cleaners when they came to clean our room that we were moving to a new one and they needed to clean the new one first. I then had put things in the fridge in the new room, as instructed by the front desk and assured me that it was fine, but then didn’t relay this to the cleaner who binned it all (not her fault of course!? They then sent another set of codes to enter that never activated and we were just using the old codes all week. It just felt a bit messy. There was a bad smell outside our room (but couldn’t smell inside the room) and it was loud from the street - mostly from a nearby bar. Then there were just small things like the extendable bed didn’t have a duvet or a sheet. The sponge in the kitchen sink was old and not a fresh one. Also no air con and no fans either.

• Maria Eugenia (10/5): Un espacio recomendable, con un staff muy servicial - En general todo, a pesar de leer que sería algo ruidoso no sentimos que fuera algo que giver nuestra estancia menos placentera. En general disfrutamos todo acerca del departamento y que permitan mascotas fue importante. Lo mejor fue la atención del staff son personas que siempre resolvieron nuestras necesidades y muy amables. Las paredes estaban algo sucias y el sillón de la estancia también, al ser colores claros era más notable, lo que no era muy agradable. Al final entre impuestos y extras me parece que fue un poco caro para lo que es, pero en general tuvimos una estancia agradable.

The noise was reduced when the windows were closed, but at the warm temps with no AC, it was uncomfortably warm. The unit itself was new and everything worked well. The kitchen lacked sufficient utensils and the couch and chairs were dirty and smelled bad. The staff was very accommodating and helpful.

For the second room they need a fan, my daughter could not sleep. We were 2 couples for the first night, and the next two days only 1 couple. I wrote asking to have the price settle the difference. On march 27th they answer me that they will settle the difference at the front desk at the check in. When we arrived I show the mail in the front desk they ignore it at all. I asked several times for there help and they did not do anything.

The man at the desk was very friendly, the woman at the desk spoke English which was very helpful. Noisy at night from adjoining building and street noise. Sheets were some kind of slippy synthetic that weren't as deep as the mattress, so they came off and bunched up and didn't breathe.

We didn't have enough towels on the first day upon checking-in at 4am in the morning, however, it was resolved after a quick message sent later that day. Light sleepers avoid on weekend stays?! Wasn't aware or perhaps missed the review regarding noise as the apartment is neighbored to an open-roof club. I would avoid staying during the weekends as the noise resonates through the apartment.

Beds were comfortable and staff were really accommodating, especially when we had to extend our stay on short notice. Small quibbles - kitchens could have a few more cooking utensils but generally we were able to manage with what we had. There was some street noise from the nearby pub and the urgent care centre (sirens).

Great location in Roma Norte. Fab handy bar next door and also round the corner. The overhead light in one of the showers and some of the sockets didn't work. The traffic noise from the road and the hospital a few doors away was quite significant, even with ear plugs.

The area around us held everything we needed from restaurants to small convenience stores. Some small imperfections in our rooms such as a broken cupboard in our kitchen and that some drawers opening magically on their own.
• Craig (3/5): Stay somewhere else - Apartment had all the facilities a traveller would need. WhatsApp messages were answered promptly. Quite well located and Ubers found the property easily. There was a club on the same block and it was often VERY noisy throughout the night. We didn’t have hot water for two days. Once a battery needed to be replaced? The maintenance person gave some instructions about running the hot water in the sink first for 10 minutes prior to showering but this didn’t work either (who wants this hassle on holidays). The shower was filthy and full of mould (see photos) We needed to stay a few extra hours on the checkout day and had to really push not to have to pay USD25 an hour for this after everything that had happened. There are so many great places to stay in MEX, don’t risk staying at this apartment,

• Patricia (9/5): - Nowness is very good, well located, with various services (pharmacy, supermarket, etc.) and entertainment (bars and restaurants) nearby, making it possible to get around on foot. The city center and other tourist destinations are around 15 to 20 minutes away by car (I used Uber and Didi the whole time, because a friend, a local resident, warned that taxis are more expensive, the cars are old and they like to rip off tourists). Nowness is wonderful, very good beds, well decorated and equipped (hairdryer, iron, refrigerator and large stove, microwave, pots, glasses, etc.), living room with dining table, lounge and TV with streaming, also has a balcony in the apartments and a very large rooftop. The staff are all helpful and polite. The only downsides (but which didn't affect the wonderful stay) were the lack of air conditioning (I didn't need it, but I don't know if it would be a problem in the summer) and the shower, which is good but not "stable"—it's either too hot (I even burned my arm one day) or when you try to open the cold water just a little to equalize the temperature, it gets freezing. The shower was a difficult part of the stay lol.... but I loved Nowness.

Yes, a minor mark on a towel (they sent me photos and I can hardly see it) has led to them holding funds from the deposit for a new towel. It’s a white towel. Hotels use them as they’re easy to bleach, but I guess Nowness prefers to nickel and dime their guests. The cost to “repair” the towel was more that 10% of the room rate. Make sure you don’t actually use anything in the room or you may be charged additional fees from the deposit.

It’s in Roma Norte, a very well-located and walkable area, with plenty of restaurants, cafés, and shops nearby. It made getting around Mexico City very easy and convenient. What I didn’t like was the cleanliness. We found dog food and hair on the living room sofa throw, and some surfaces showed signs that they hadn’t been properly cleaned. The towels were not completely white, and we were charged for staining them with makeup. We were also told we would be charged because the bedspread had hair on it, even though it wasn’t from our pet but rather due to inadequate cleaning before our stay. Additionally, the living room sofa was somewhat uncomfortable.

It was accessible with a working elevator. It was quiet, no loud guests or any other issues. There was always someone at the lobby to assist. To be nitpicky, it wasn’t clear how we were supposed to dispose trash bags from the apartment. Would’ve been great if they informed us that we were supposed to leave it out in the morning for the cleaners. Again that’s just to be nitpicky. They were timely with picking up trash so you never saw the trash bags out in the hallway. Also it’s close to a bar and you can hear the music from the property. But it was faint and didn’t disturb my sleep or experience in property.
