Guest Reviews
- Sue (10/5): Delightful and a very helpful host - Lovely location with such a peaceful garden. All fine
- Stephen (8/5): - Great location. TV didn't work but no worries for 1 night.

- David (4/5): Our stay was good and the landlady was helpful. However, the room itself and the facilities provided were inadequate for - The location was good and the owner very pleasant. It was just one room with no facilities to even warm up some food. There was only one chair and no work surface to even cut bread. The kettle was on the floor and there was very little space for anything.
- Ian (8/5): Very enjoyable. - As a lone traveller, who stayed for 7 nights, I found the accommodation more than adequate for my needs. The room is set in the garden with its own entrance and garden furniture in a very sunny spot. The room and en-suite were very clean and comfortable. The owner, a very pleasant lady, provided a good selection of teas and coffee. Milk and water was also available in a small fridge in the room. I would have no hesitation in staying at Southerhay again.

Met by host who made us feel so welcomed & spoiled nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely be back. Luckily the first day was beautiful weather & we spent a great couple of hours in the sunny court yard garden sipping wine, truly a relaxing stay. Nothing at all

Our room was artsy, super clean with a very comfortable bed, nice private garden to enjoy, and we had a friendly and generous host. We would definitely stay here again. Street parking on a nearby narrow lane made us a little nervous about our rental car, but it worked out okay.

- Sarahbusby (10/5): Exceptional - We absolutely loved this place! The bed was really comfortable and we had a lovely, big walk in shower with great shampoo, conditioner and body wash products to use. The owner is so lovely and helpful - she gave us great information about the restaurants and left some sweet treats with the tea and fresh coffee (she even leaves fresh milk in the fridge) as it was my husband's birthday. It was quiet there even though we were just five minutes from the centre of Beer and a very restful stop - we just slept so well. I'd recommend going to the Smuggler's Kitchen for dinner. Nothing - a perfect stop!

The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent and we particularly loved the shower gels and shampoo! What were they?
Location was perfect, just a very short walk to the centre and beach. Only minor issue would be for some that the tv had no reception which we tried whilst we were getting ready to go out. But no issue for us.
