• Janelle (10/5): Incredible Lagos stay - Yolla Apartment was perfect. The location was excellent - right in the centre of the town and handy to everything. Most importantly, Yolanda the host was incredible. Very friendly and helped us organise some tour bookings. We were worried that staying in the town might be noisey but it wasnt. There are restaurants and bars nearby, but we didnt hear a thing. Double glazed windows and electric shutters kept all the noise out and the apartment was very quiet. Nothing
• Rigt (6/5): Geen terras! - Terras, geen zitje. Bloedheet door uitlaat van de airco. Meer een bijkeuken. Je kunt er niet vertoeven. Balkon te klein en lelijk uitzicht.
• Anam (1/5): - The apartment has a great location but has a strong sewage stench that lasted all throughout the 7 days. I’m not someone who usually writes bad reviews, but this was by far the worst accommodation experience I’ve ever had. From the first day, the apartment had a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom that never went away, despite keeping windows and doors open as instructed by the Yollanda. When I contacted her again, she offered us a smaller apartment without AC or TV, which was not a fair alternative, considering we paid €1,112 for 5 nights. When I asked about a partial refund for such a downgrade, she refused and instead told us we had one hour to leave or endure, without offering any guarantee of a refund. The shower then turned out to be clogged, she arrived with a plumber and instead of acknowledging the problem, she accused us of creating the issue. The plumber confirmed the clogged drainage. When I objected, she raised her voice and, in a threatening manner, said: *“You don’t want problems, do you?”* Creating severe discomfort. She also implied exploitation by management and said the owner of the apartment is not a very nice guy. What he could offer would be a dinner, but 'you dont wanna go for dinner with him...' This left me and my sister understandibly frightened. Her attitude throughout was dismissive, intimidating, and at times, hostile. We had no choice but to finish our stay because Booking.com support never responded during the trip, and there were no last-minute alternatives available in Lagos. The entire stay was stressful and unpleasant, absolutely not what we paid for. Most bizarre hosts we have ever encountered.

• Cliff (10/5): A wonderful apartment in the heart of the old town - Very modern, very clean and spacious. Hostess is wonderful! The apartment is close enough to everything to be able to walk to it. It was secure. Also very comfortable. The only issue we had was the noise from nearby bars. But that is Lagos.
• Annette Leuschner (9/5): Sehr schönes Apartment - Sehr gute Lage in der Altstadt Lagos. Gleich im Nebenhaus ist ein kleiner Supermarkt mit freundlicher Bedienung. Viele Frühstücks- und Essensmöglichkeiten. Sehr sauberes, modern ausgestattetes Apartment mit guter Ausstattung. Anreise unkompliziert und gute Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter.

• Antje (8/5): Wir waren sehr zufrieden, nächstes Mal nehmen wir einfach Ohropax mit :) - Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr gut, freundlich und zuverlässig. Das Apartment ist sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und äußerst gut ausgestattet. Die Lage ist super, Essens-, Ausgeh- und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind direkt vor der Tür. Das Umfeld mit vielen Restaurants, Cafés und Bars ist sehr laut, wodurch wir nachts nicht lüften konnten.

• Ann (10/5): Superb -exceeded all expectations - I would highly recommend this 2 bed roomed apartment. This must be new to the market as everything was brand new and spotless. It had a full equipped kitchen with everything you could need and more. There was also air-con and a large TV to stream Netflix etc. for the lazy afternoons in. Location is ideal in the heart of everything with lots of shops, bars and restaurants on the doorstep. Beach is approx 5 minute walk. Easy access as key was left in a lock box outside with very clear instructions give the day we arrived fro the host. The windows were sound proofed so very little noise at night. We felt very safe at all times and cannot find any negatives about this apartment.

Die Sauberkeit hat mich positiv überrascht. Leider war keine Handseife oder weitere Duschutensilien vorhanden. Außerdem nur ein Pod für die Waschmaschine. Im Bad hat die Lüftung manchmal gestunken.

The only minor thing was confusion over how the air conditioning worked. Would be handy for future guests to have that written somewhere in the unit.
