• Todd H. Erickson (9/5): A relaxing unit with great views of the town and harbor. - The unit was exactly as expected, with all the ammenities as advertisied. The deck up top was special. I have a tough time with some beds - this one was fairly hard so I struggle with that. Others could be just fine with this type of bed - it was in good shape, just too hard for my preference.

• Kylie (9/5): Wonderful cinque terre stay - Felt perfectly in place for Cinque Terre. The decor and set up was nice. Lots of good tea and nice glasses in case you buy a bottle of wine. The space is small and the steps are steep getting up, but I think that’s part of the charm here.

Jeg var lidt skuffet over at tagterrassen ikke var tilgængelig for alle værelse, men kun værelse 3.

La habitación estaba limpia, pero la experiencia no fue cómoda. La cama era demasiado dura, las almohadas también resultaron incómodas y el aire acondicionado no enfriaba bien. Pasamos calor durante la noche y fue difícil descansar porque terminamos sudando. Creo que deberían mejorar estos aspectos para que los huéspedes puedan dormir mejor.

• Dean (8/5): Well appointed accomodation but look out for the stairs! - It is in a great location with a lovely rooftop terrace. Communication about room servicing was tricky. Our cleaner spoke no English and we needed to follow up on a few things. It also needs to be made clearer about the number of steep staircases you need to manage for the room we had. There is a mention of stairs but, despite being nimble veteran travellers we found the almost ladder like flights hard to manage with standard luggage.

Great directions and support. The shower was a little inconsistant when other guests were using theirs at the same time. Otherwise fine.

Gemmi mötte oss och förklarade på mixad italienska och engelska hur allt fungerade och tipsade om restauranger osv. Perfekt för att utforska Vernazza och närliggande byar. Supergod gelato med underbar ägare just före piren. En del skulle nog tycka att det var lite för lyhört mellan rummen och även en del ljud från gränderna, inget vi stördes av.

Pat, the host was exceptionally helpful and informative. Not a dislike, more an observation, as nights get colder a spare blanket would be helpful. A word of advice - I saw people struggling with multiple huge suitcases - everywhere in Vernazza is steep and narrow, pack accordingly.

La chambre est très bien placée dans le centre du village, très propre, bonne literie. Nous avons pris le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse mais il manque quelques couverts et verres.

• Jjaggers (10/5): Fun time in Vernazza. Everything is close to the beautiful harbor. - Easy meet up with the staff at the train station and they walked us directly to the room <5 min. Good suggestions for dinner. Vernazza was charming and the room met our expectations. No issue for us but there were some steep stairs to get to the room. Could be difficult for someone with mobility issues. I expect there are steep stairs in the majority of locations in Vernazza. Thought we had booked their room with the terrace, but I was made aware of my room choice well before we arrived.

The room was conveniently located a minute from the station, yet at night it was absolutely silent. Bed was very comfy and we slept SO well. Very glad we chose Solemagia!

• Meiyuk (6/5): Pleasant - Location The stairway to the 1st floor's room is steep, narrow, and has no light. You have to open the 2nd floor door to access the light switch. So I just use my phone's light instead. The room has a very strong cleaner smell. Not very pleasant. The chair was uncomfortable. One of the floor tiles is loose. Actually, I bumped into the bed frame twice. It was kind of stuck out. Don't stay there if you have large luggage or can't climb the narrow stairway.

• Smith (6/5): Pleasant - The location to the town and water front. Comfortable bed. Very steep narrow three flights of stairs with locked doors after each flight. Great only if you're young. Somewhat of a fire trap. Had to call hosts upon arrival as we didn't receive info on door code/check in.

The room has windows that opens up and looks down into the street below. On a nice cool day, opening the windows cools the room greatly without the need to use the AC. Narrow and extremely steep stairs to get to the room. This will be an issue for anyone who is not athletic or struggles with steps. The room is also quite small and the bathroom quite cramped. The AC is not a real AC and just an air ionizer/recirculator. On a hot summer day, this could pose an issue.

The stairs are more steep and extreme than depicted. The final room is an actual climb up a set of stairs that are more like a ladder. The two bottom rooms are not AC enabled and only have a fan.

• Michael (10/5): Great property in Vernazza to explore all that Conque Terre has to offer! - The property was clean, comfortable and had a great location which allowed us to easily explore Cinque Terre. The host Gemmy was great and provided excellent communication before and during our stay.

The air conditioning didn´t really work, there were too few plugs to connect any of our devices and wifi was poor.

• Flux55 (7/5): Great view but needs cleaning - The location is perfect. The terrace is very nice and has a great view of the sea and the town. Yes there are 100 steep steps to reach the apartment but this is 5 terre, what did you expect. It's superficial clean. Thick layer of dust on the closet, thick layer of dust in the venting, thick layer under the bed. AC is dying and I also suspect the AC filter was never cleaned. The mattress is old and needs replacement.

Gemmy was great and provided us with all the information necessary. Location wise, not even 2 minutes to the train station and can also go in opposite direction to have access to beach and restaurants. For those that might have mobility issues- the apartment is located 3 flights up and the stairs are quite narrow making it awkward to get luggage up and down. This is is a small inconvenience though given location and the rest of the apartment.

First it was quite difficult to find (maps does not bring you to the right place and the written instructions were a bit confusing). The room was also very hot and the bed and pillows were so uncomfortable. The property says it has AC but it does NOT. There is a room fan and a ceiling fan, but it was still very hot at night.

Nice location close to the train station. Too many stairs to reach the rooms. Come with your luggage can be a problem. The same if by any chance you are not feeling so good. You have the whole steps to go back and forward. It is also noisily related to the other rooms (not that soundproof). You always think someone is entering your room hahaha.

• Kelly (8/5): It was fine. - Cute decor, perfect location. Good size for an overnight stay in the Cinque Terre. Listing is not clear, I paid for a terrace room, but we didn't get the terrace. Waited over an hour for host to meet us to check-in. Walls are thin.

Great space with amazing old world charm, loved the rooftop patio with amazing views. It is right in the centre of town, 2 minute walk from train. So convenient. Gemmy was a fantastic host. The climb up the stairs to the apartment is challenging but part of the charm!

Worth it to stay in Vernazza which is busy during the day when the tours come through but we had it to ourselves in the evenings. The stairs were a little intense but well worth it!

Very clear, helpful, and prompt communication with the host. Accommodation had all the essentials, including espresso. Amazing view from a room. Highly recommended! The winding stairs are a bit of a climb with bags, but also adds to the charm.
