• Sibylle (8/5): Perfect huisje in een mooie gebied. - Keurig ingericht huisje met mooi uitzicht. Gelegen in een mooi gebied. Jammer van de drukke weg aan de achterkant.

• Anne (10/5): Nieuw en modern chalet in een rustige omgeving - Wij verbleven 2 nachten in de IJsvogel en hebben enorm genoten. We hebben GEEN last gehad van het geluid van de weg en heerlijk geslapen. Het chalet is zeer comfortabel en schoon, met een prachtig uitzicht op het veld met paarden. Een heerlijke plek om te verblijven. We misten wel een oventje om broodjes af te bakken, de handdoeken waren wat klein en hard en omdat het chalet op het terrein van de eigenaar ligt heb je wat minder privacy. Maar we komen toch zeker terug!
• A J (8/5): - Erg aardige host! Vriendelijke ontvangst en prettig verblijf.
• Ted (8/5): - Voor onze wandeling over het Pieterpad is dit een uitstekende overnachting. Ruim, schoon, prettig ontvangst. Mooi uitzicht vanaf de veranda. Het chalet staat vlak langs een N-weg. Waardoor je constant de auto's hoort rijden.
• Ellen (10/5): - Mooi chalet met heerlijke woonkamer en terras met uitzicht op de weilanden. Fijn dat koffie en thee aanwezig is en dat er zelfs wat drankjes en snackjes zijn. Goed bed en fijne badkamer. In slaapkamer hoor je de N34 dus slechtere slapershebben hebben mogelijk oordoppen nodig. Voor langer verblijf zouden wij aanwezigheid van kookgelegenheid missen.

• Arjan (10/5): Heerlijk weekend gehad. - Super schoon en goed geregeld. Bij aankomst waren er wat lekkernijen neer gezet. Zeker een aanrader om nog een keer terug te komen. Wij hebben het naar ons zin gehad.
• Steve (10/5): A wonderful relaxing overnight stopover. - Erik gave us a wonderful welcome and had left a tableful of snacks and refreshments. The property itself was perfect; clean and comfortable. Nearby village had a great selection of restaurants and we’d happily recommend the staff and food at Eetcafe Cosineros. Nothing

We've booked Eriks Chalet for one night as we were close by and needed a place to stay, and after spending the first night, we've stayed another 2 nights on top. We've received the most loving and thoughtful welcome. The entire place smelled nice and was immaculate. Beautifully clean and cosy bathroom, the beds were AMAZING. Truth be told, my bed at home isn't as comfortable as the master bedroom in Eriks chalet. Motion sensor nightlights underneath the bed are something I'm gonna get for my own place after this. The kitchen had everything you need, including a coffee system with a bunch of different pods of a variety of choices. When Erik heard we're staying another night, he brought us more fresh towels (that smelled amazing), s well as more coffee and a few little gifts. Truly a wonderful and genuinely caring human being. The view and feel of the property is incredible. Looking out on the fields and horses from the back/balcony of the chalet is an experience in and of itself. If you feel easily spooked or unsafe in foreign environments, this truly is the place to go. You can feel yourself relax once you get in and it never leaves you. The living room is cozy, couches and chairs are all super comfortable, WiFi is fast, the television works well (it's got Netflix too if you log in), and I honestly couldn't think of anything that was lacking. Groningen is close by, the Schipborg centre is real nice and shops are everywhere with good prices. Erik gave us great recommendations on the day we've arrived, and we've enjoyed every little trip we've made here. I could go on, but if you're reading this and considering a few different options - don't. This is what home feels like.
