Kevin left us to the venue of the wedding we were attending and they had lots of advice on places to visit and eat in the area. We enjoyed the breakfast and chats, nothing was ever too much bother. • Tracey (10/5): Warm home from home with two extremely kind hosts Kevin and Mary 🥰 - Everything beautiful home from home . Our hosts Kevin and Mary instantly made us feel like part of the family. Our room was perfect spotless and so warm and the bed was so comfortable. We were in bed both nights by nine because we needed just a proper rest. They drove us to the next village to the local food and drinks venue. They offered to collect us but we said no ye have done so much already. They fed us to an inch of our lives 😀😀. Highly recommend staying here beautiful village twos mins from the castle . Definitely should be a 4 star ⭐ not 3 in my eyes. Thank you both from myself and Derek. • Judith (10/5): Lovely countryside stay - Had a great overnight stay at Ravenwood. Lovely room with views over fields to the sea. Room had everything we needed, and they thoughtfully provided water and juice as well as tea and coffee making facilities. Good continental breakfast was provided in the morning and Mary and Kevin gave helpful suggestions for places to eat and visit nearby. Everything was great

• Kevin (10/5): - Mary and Kevin were very welcoming and friendly. We were staying for a wedding in the castle, Kevin gave us a lift up after check in and was easy to get a taxi back. The room was very clean and had tea/coffee, water etc. Continental breakfast in the morning was great and nice to talk to Kevin and Mary before leaving. Lovely house and grounds, would recommend.

The kitchen was a dream—spacious, spotless, and fully equipped. Our room and bathroom were super comfortable and relaxing. The morning started with a delicious breakfast and great conversation. They also shared lots of fantastic local recommendations—restaurants, places to explore, and more. Truly a lovely stay—we’d happily come back!

• Carolyn (10/5): Excellent B&B, friendly hosts - Very friendly hosts who made us feel really welcome. We were shown in detail how everything worked in our room. Clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Perfect location for exploring the area and for access to Dublin airport. Continental breakfast was plentiful. We had to leave very early for the airport on our second night, and Mary left out delicious fresh pastries and fruit for us to take with us. My fault entirely but the property is tricky to find, and although detailed instructions were sent to us at the time of booking, four months later I did not remember we had been sent these. Perhaps resend the message a couple of days prior to guests arrival.

Beautiful gardens The shower head was set too low in the shower. No living room offered to relax in, TV limited - was a smart TV but no internet access.

• Gerry (10/5): Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area. - Lovely, light, continental-style breakfast was served which set you up for the day - a wide selection of cereals, yogurts, fruit, croissants, tea, coffee, juice etc. We were served in the beautiful kitchen by Kevin and Mary who made you feel right at home. They were both very friendly and gracious hosts who were a joy to deal with. The accommodation is perfect for a couple - a lovely en-suite bedroom with spectacular views all the way to the Irish Sea. The house is beautiful, set in its own grounds in a quiet and peaceful location. We stayed for 3 nights and could have easily stayed longer. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ravenwood accommodation for your stay. Nothing at all.

Kevin even lent my husband a tie when we realized he had forgotten to pack his! The B&B is just as described, is super convenient to Bellingham castle, and the breakfast comes with delicious strawberries!

The continental breakfast was substantial with fresh fruit salad, fruit, cereals, bread, yoghurt, juice, tea and coffee. Thankyou Mary for such a friendly and welcoming stay. It is a beautiful place and close to Drogheda and surrounding historic sites.

The bed was super comfortable and everything was well presented. The bathroom was spacious and of the highest quality. Breakfast was excellent. We stayed here on our way north after arriving in Dublin Airport in the evening and it worked out really well. No issues at all.

They were so accommodating allowing us to check in early due to going to a wedding, offered lifts to the venue we were going to. We slept in a lovely bedroom on the ground floor, and the room was very clean, there is an ensuite bathroom, coffee machine, boiler, and also wee treats as a welcome! May and Kevin are a lovely couple, it has been a pleasure to meet them and chat with them. I really recommended it :) Everything was perfect

• Enda (10/5): A beautiful property, fabulous hosts, would definitely stay again. - I travelled alone to a wedding in Bellingham Castle, and wanted to stay somewhere close as I was on my own. I found Ravenwood just 4min drive from the Castle. I was greeted by Kevin who was so welcoming and took my bag. He talked me through the keys and lights and then introduced me to Mary who was fabulous. It felt like coming home. The room was immaculate, so comfortable with spacious en-suite. Tea and coffee facilities and treats of chocolate biscuit and bottled water. The photo is the beautiful view from my room. I have no recommendations at all.

• Marissa (10/5): Convenient location, beautiful property and lovely hosts - Mary and Kevin were such lovely hosts! Our flight was delayed and we arrived later than expected, but Kevin was very kind to wait up for us and made sure we were comfortable. The continental breakfast was a delightful spread in the morning (in their beautiful kitchen) and we loved having a little chat over a cup of coffee. We were attending a wedding at the castle nearby and Kevin offered to give us a lift over which was very helpful. We had everything we needed during our stay and even managed to squeeze in a quick trip to Blackrock. Thank you for the hospitality, Mary & Kevin!
