Guest Reviews
- Hugo (2/5): No good - Clean Bed is so tiny and uncomfortable
No A/C, it’s too hot
Shower uncomfortable (boiler is in the space)
I wasn’t informed that more people would be sharing the apartment
Not enough plugs
Expensive for the service received
- Tu (7/5): the flat has a lot of natural light, however the cleaner should have cleaned the room in a more careful way. A little fa - the neighbor was kind, the appartment is bright with a lot of natural light. the area is a little far from the centre but walkable. As we came in the summer, the room was hot and our fan did not work. I supposed it was broken. There was a cockroach in the room, so the cleaner should have cleaned the room better.
- Lena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emilia (9/5): Great & affordable short stay - I had not that high expectations as it was very affordable, but I had a great stay afterall! The room and shared spaces were comfortable and tidy, I loved the balcony and there was even a laundry machine and fan for hot summer days! Easy check-in process, also the cleaning lady was super friendly and helpful. The location is not the best possible in Graz, though the railway station and old town are withing walking distance. The keybox could be located at the main entrance as well…
- George (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable!
Thanks alot for all!
Good experiance
- Angelina (10/5): Exceptional - Great price for the quality of the accommodation. There is a bus stop right in front of the building that connects you to the centre and bus/train stations. Clean, spacious room with a balcony -- perfect for quiet evenings. The kitchen is very well-equipped (pots, pans, kettle, etc.), so cooking food is very doable. There is a washing machine available which I really appreciated. The host is very responsive. The apartment is very quiet. Will definitely come back if I am ever in Graz again! One small thing: during my stay, there was a problem with the bathroom door lock but it's probably fixed by now. I wouldn't recommend walking in the area alone late at night (I was a solo female traveler), but it's mainly because there are few people on the streets since it's not in the center city. Other than that, no huge concerns, and the price is one of the most budget-friendly options I've seen even in cheaper countries.
- Domonkos (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (8/5): Very good - No frills but very reasonably priced. Shared apartment with 3 units and shared bathroom and toilet. Location is a bit of a walk to both the station and town centre. At such a good price, there's nothing to really complain about.
- Tanvi (8/5): Very good -
- Valentina (9/5): Superb -
- Pavla (7/5): The place is great, staff could be more welcoming - The free parking was very convenient.
Great value for the money. On the day of the checkout the cleaning lady came 40 minutes before the checkout time surprised to see that I'm still there. Then she was just watching me from the hallway until I left (with still some time to spare but the awkwardness made me leave earlier).
It was really unnecessary and uncomfortable. I still had some time left and this left an uncomfortable aftertaste after the stay.
- Nowinslo (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kirill (8/5): Very good -
- Tunjic (6/5): Pleasant -
- Florencia (8/5): Very good -
- Garzon (9/5): It was comfortable and easy. - I just stayed there one night, but I was comfortable with my room, with the common areas (kitchen, shower and toilet) and also, the parking lot for my motorcycle. The instructions were clear to get the keys. Maybe I tried to cook in the kitchen in the morning, but the sun was too bright, and the window doesn't have a curtain to cover it.
- Minjie (10/5): Exceptional - Good location, well maintained apartment. Clean and functional. Host sent detailed instructions before arrival. No hairdryer available
- Morana (6/5): Pleasant - overall clean and comfortable, ok for one night I thought it was a series of apartments, not one apartment with three rooms where you could hear everything from the others
- Aynur (8/5): Good for a short stay - The room was spacious, the beds comfortable. The apartment was clean with a small kitchen. There was no hairdryer (-9C degree outside), at least I could not find one in the apartment, even asked my neighbors. Then I've messaged the host to ask and never got an answer, the communication was indeed poor, Despite of self-check-in, I would expect a proper chat assistance at least for any questions, troubles.
Upon arrival I had to enter from the back door of the building which was a bit terrifying in the dark until I found the elevator. I'd recommend to go around the building and enter from the front door (the keys are next to the back door).
Also be ready to share the bathroom and kitchen with other guests.
- Catalina (6/5): Ok - Cheap and clean There were no proper towels, no hair dryer, curtains cut too short that let light in…. Etc…
- Sara (9/5): Superb -
- Petr (8/5): Highly recommended - Really good, especially at this price. Just a short walk from the train station, a shopping centre... Curtains didn't cover the entire window but that's fine
- Dmitri (9/5): Superb - Clean, silent apartment. One balcony for two rooms. But it's better than nothing.
- Anastasia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Juraj (10/5): Exceptional - Very good room for the price Water for shower wasnt so warm, maybe you need to turn the water heater on before showering?
- Attila (9/5): G, as Graz: Good location, Good service, Good price -
- Safad (9/5): Worth it - Clean Kinda annoying to find the entrance at night
- Rednax11 (6/5): Shared flat - good & cheap option if your (unknown) flat mates are okay. - Tidy flat, inexpensive room, kitchen equipped, coffee available. I misread the description and assumed it was a small private flat. The stay was alright as there were no problems regarding the cleanliness or equipment. However, the apartment is a little further off the city centre and - if having plans to walk a lot around the city already anyways - one needs to get a bus ticket to get back and forth. How pleasant the stay is in the end mainly depends on the other guests (3 rooms in total) on site, as cooking or doing dishes in the morning can be heard. For women travelling alone: consider the fact that you may be sharing the flat with other male guests only. (The room, toilet and bathroom could be locked.)
- Ivan_bgd (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice and clean, great value
- Satish (9/5): Overall, its a very good stay in Graz !! - Overall, its very good stay.
I have two days accommodation and the price that i have paid is worth.
I got an opportunity to talk and personally meet with the owner - he is very friendly person and talking good English and of course, German. I do not have anything to say negative.
Overall, the facilities that are mentioned in the booking are provided. The apartment is in good condition and the maintenance is also good.
Only one thing - that i want to mentioned here is, the towels. They have provided two SMALL towels instead of that it would be great if they provide ONE big towel.
That is all !
- Irena (8/5): fully furnished apartment with 3 rooms, shared bathroom and kitchen, 15 min from the center - It is a fully furnished apartment with several rooms, and shared bathroom and kitchen, in a quiet location. About 15 minutes walk from the center. The room was clean and quiet, the heating works well, there is a hot shower and a washing machine, the kitchen has everything you need. However, it was not easy for me to find the tiny box with the keys - it is attached to the stairs at the back entrance, low on the ground. Late in the evening in December it is dark, so it took me a while to find it and open it with the code. But the staff sent me detailed instructions in advance on how to find it, so in the end I succeeded :) a little unpleasant smell in the bathroom
- Florian (8/5): Very good -
- Abdullah (2/5): Very poor - Nothing Noisy by the neighbors , toilets dirty , far from the center
- Salman (7/5): Good -
- Zsolt.p (8/5): Very good - The apartment and the room was spacious and clean. Everything was ok. Maybe it would be a good idea to send the house rules to the guests before they arrive, so they know that it is a shared apartment. When I was there some guests arrived late they were really noisy, I guess by mistake they tried to open my room door, which was looked from the inside. In the morning, the same people left really early, and they were really loud again.
- Jen (9/5): Superb - It is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and is very close to the nearest bus station. I loved that it was equipped with a washing machine, which took care of my laundry needs, and that check-in was allowed as early as 12 PM. When I arrived at the apartment at 12pm, the key was not yet ready, but the friendly and helpful staff promptly addressed the situation by meeting me in the lobby to hand over the key and guide me to my unit. I truly appreciate it!
- Sadiku (8/5): Very good -
- Oleh (10/5): Nothing to complain - Not so far from railway station and centre, self check-in and what is very important from 12:00. Towels and shower gel provided.
- Remi (7/5): Correct - Difficult de trouver la key box
- Igor (9/5): Superb -
- Geovane (7/5): Good -
- Agnieszka (8/5): Good - I liked the floor, nice wooden, nice beds, nice view from the balcony It wasn’t as clean as it could be
- Gemma (9/5): Good choice for budget trip - Room is big and clean, with a balcony, can have a chill breakfast there. There provided a washing machine, if you have detergent, you can use it, and hang out clothes in the balcony. Kitchen with all the stuff can cook. The location is not so convenient, but walk for 3 mins there is a bus station can take to old town.
- Dinu (8/5): Very good -
- Georgia (8/5): Brilliant room in a brilliant city! - - great communication with staff on WhatsApp and booking.com
- clear check in instructions online and in the flat
- people were generally respectful coming in and out of flat
- kitchen was well stocked
- the room was a fantastic size and nicely decorated
- whole apartment was clean
- good value for money
- close to the centre - felt a bit odd checking in as it was a residential block of flats
- not the best area to stay in in Graz
- we had the triple room and the door had a glass door. When others checked in, people turned on the hallway light which wasn’t ideal. But they’re not to know. Can this be completely blocked out???!
- maybe have some more booklets to help you get to know the area
- Yunjing (9/5): Superb -
- Marina (10/5): Exceptional - Very well located with a bus stop almost in front of the building. Easy to check in.
- Kostia (5/5): Passable -
- Mihai (10/5): Perfect location - The price was good, free parking,I can only reccomend Maybe because it has no tv set
- Blanka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dominik (9/5): Just slept and showered but went smooth - Easy access, good value for money, nice bakery downstairs No plug for the bathtub, would be nice to relax a bit
- Paola (7/5): Good - Finally a clean, comfortable place for a reasonable price. The rooms are full of light and there's a fan that helps a lot if you happen to be in town in the middle of and heat wave.
Walking distance from the center and the station, with backeries and supermarkets nearby.
I didn't need the kitchen but it looked well equipped. My room had a small blacony shared with another room. The guests spent HOURS chatting outside, until I made them notice it was one a.m. First thing in the morning, they where there again. I know it's not the apartment's owner fault, but it's how the rooms are made and there's no changing it. Meaning, either you rent all of it with a bunch of friends, or the same may happen to you.
There are towels, but not the big ones for the shower.
- Victor (1/5): Disgusting and terrible experience - Nothing. It was awful -A guest in the apartment unit (3 rooms with different guests) stole my keys and fan. Everyone's keys were locked in the same key-lock! Keys and fan were eventually returned but the fact that they were stolen initially was extremely concerning.
-No ventilation so it feels like a furnace even with the window open at night-time (during the Austrian summer)
-No hot water
-Host was rude, unprofessional and disrespectful
-Host handled my complaint in a very unprofessional manner
- Zsákai (7/5): we liked it -
- Vanessa (10/5): Great place to stay! Check-in was so easy and everything was squeaky clean! - Loved the location, the cleanliness and the ease of check-in. I will be back! Nothing!
- Mhamad (4/5): don't recommend - Cleanness no balcony like in pictures, there is other people Sharing it inside that isn't advertised either
- Natalia (6/5): Good price for what you’re getting - Washing machine is a great feature
Communal bathroom and kitchen were clean The lock in the bathroom didn’t work the best and it’s crucial to have it working in shared bathroom
We didn’t get big towels which was a bit of a minus
- Marko (8/5): Very good -
- Juliana (5/5): Not the whole apartment, just one room. - Good location It wasn‘t obvious enough, that it‘s not actually the whole apartment but instead just one room in a shared apartment. All the other guests I talked to were just as surprised as I was!
- Martin0925 (8/5): Very good -
- Yurii (10/5): Exceptional - Great for what it is - rooms in an apartment with shared bathroom. Great value, it's cleaner and nicer than what you might expect for the price. Kitchen was also quite well equipped.
- Nefeli (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and tidy place. The shared areas were clean and tidy. Coffee and tea was available in the kitchen. All’n’all a good place to stay the night during our road trip. It would be important to know that the key of the house also opens the parking barrier ahead of time. It was not a huge issue, it just caused us frustration that could be avoided.
- Nanniita (8/5): Very good -
- Kálmán (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, great price! Will stay here again when in Gratz!!
- Samir (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aleksandar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Aleksandar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barbora (10/5): Exceptional - Great location near train station. Comfortable beds in private room. Shared places are clean, in kitchen is everything for simple cooking.
- Bea (4/5): Disappointing - The beds are very comfy, I love the rolling blinds on the windows, the kitchen is functional, everything is super clean (the cleaning crew was also very nice and friendly when we bumped into them), and the location will get you to the city center in 15-20 minutes on foot or even less by bus. This place NEEDS a staffed reception. The road to getting the key and entering the apartment is an adventure by itself. The host sent pictures and information on what to do, but despite that, arriving in a new city (at night and without internet no less) meant that I had to memorize all the instructions BEFORE the trip, look at the satellite maps to see where to go, and connect the disjointed pictures with Street View to form a mental image in order not to get lost. This is all just so complicated for 80% of the visitors and I can imagine someone less resourceful getting stuck not being able to enter. Even with all my preparation it still took us about 20 minutes from when we arrived to the building to when we entered the room.
Not to mention that they also expected us to fill some random foreign papers despite already sending them a picture of the passports (which I was NEVER asked before in my life, it's such a privacy risk to send a whole passport image online) AND they also had the gall to ask us to leave the tourist tax money in cash in the apartment (instead of simply deducting it upfront together with the room cost?? Had to go to the ATM because I didn't have enough cash right away)
Because of all this I'm lowering the grade, and it would be 1/10 if it wasn't for the cleaning staff who saved us.
- Tarik (6/5): Pleasant - It's shared flat, not an apartment for your use. You book a room and share toilet, bathroom and kitchen with other two rooms
- Monika (9/5): Superb -
- Klaus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kamenjakovic (2/5): Very poor - It was easy to get in touch with the staff. It was very surprising that it is actually one apartment in which they have 3 rooms that are locked and that are actually rented individually. We were unpleasantly surprised when we ended up with two strangers in one apartment. Fortunately, the strangers were polite and quiet, however, you should carefully check whether you will have the whole apartment to yourself or not.
- Klaudia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dzmitry (10/5): Exceptional - Good place. Really good place. Clean, reasonable price, good location Everything was great!
- Irina (10/5): Highly recommended! - Clean, practical, ideal location. Recommended! N/A
- Mirna (10/5): We stayed for two nights, everything was as described in the offer. We are satisfied with the service and recommend it. - Clean and quiet. I have no complaints.
- Dastan (8/5): Very good - That they didnt have a place to leave luggage after check-out
- Nadzeya (9/5): good budget apartments - These are good budget apartments. It's a three-room apartment, but each room is locked with a key. I liked that there is private parking in the yard. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the center. However, the pillows are already lumpy and should be replaced
- Sabrina (8/5): Very good -
- Adi (5/5): Passable - Location and price were okay. This is a big apartment with three rooms where other people have also stayed, with shared bathroom, toilet and kitchen. People were running washing maschine until midnight, and it was hard to fall asleep because of other people moving around and doing stuff.
- Tadej (10/5): Exceptional - clean, value for money, check-in possible at 12 noon!
The rooms are nice, on the 6th floor, the kitchen is fully equipped. I will definitely come back if I'm in Graz.
- Aneta (5/5): Book if price is the most important factor and you do not mind sharing the flat with strangers - It was cheap. A really affordable price for staying in Graz for 5 nights. Genuinely, with this flat, you get what you pay for.
It's located about 15 min from the main train station. Graz is very walkable so it's not a bad location. The apartment is actually one flat that has a shared kitchen, bathroom, and toilet, and three separate rooms that are lockable by key and rented out separately. Two rooms have two beds each, while the third, the biggest room has 3 beds. In theory, there could be up to 7 people in that apartment. I rented the 3-bed room for 5 nights. I barely spent any time at the apartment and came there to sleep so my use of the facilities was very limited. However, I have some comments about the following:
- Any sound in the apartment carries. I could hear everything from the kitchen or the bathroom. The door to my room had a glass window that was taped over to block light but not very efficiently. I read a lot of reviews that already said that the room doors get stuck and it's impossible not to be loud when leaving or entering your room.
- The bathroom smells. I kept the windows open all the time I was in. It smells of dampness. There is no trashcan in the bathroom for some reason.
- I recommend changing the kettle to something quieter. I have never heard a louder kettle in my life :D
- The beds in my room were cheap IKEA beds. The pillows were really old - the filling disintegrated from use and they have not been replaced for a while. The sleep quality was okay.
- Ori (9/5): Superb - Good value for Money. Nice apartment with equipped kitchen, very comfortable place to stay in. Not located exactly in the center but a few minutes walk. Rather, close to the train station.
- Bartier (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nathaly (8/5): Very good - Some guys in the other room were very noisy, until 5 in the morning.
- L8814 (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice,clean,quiet,good location,warm rooms,easy to get in
- L8814 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bruno (8/5): Very good -
- Armend (8/5): Very good -
- Svitlana (10/5): Exceptional - I liked the hostel. Very clean. Exceeded our expectations. All photos correspond to reality. Thank you for the opportunity to rest comfortably at your place.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, heated, well-equipped. It was hard to find a parkon place nearby
- Nikolina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Piotr (8/5): Nice place - It's clean and well furnished. Also good location not that far from city center and cheap price. Self check-in is possible as well. Be aware, that during self check-in, you enter through a back entrance of the building. After you find the keys and get through door, you are in a basement of the biulding! With all the storage boxes around. Seems a bit strange, but just keep calm and go to the door that are later on your way if you go straight. Then you enter to a nice looking staircase. You can use elevator to reach your flat on 4th or 5th floor. After you get in with one of the keys, the other is for your room.
- Igor (9/5): Superb - Close to the center, easy check-in/checkout process. The host was responsive. Reasonable pricing.
- Lian (8/5): Very good - The place was in walking distance to the train station which was very practical for our stay. Comfortable room and nicely equipped kitchen. We arrived quite late and it was a bit scary to pick up the keys since you had to walk around the house where it was super dark. On the other hand, it was obviously nice to be able to be flexible with picking up the keys where you wanted to
