• Rebecca (1/5): From the moment we arrived couldn't wait to get out of there - Nothing Pictures didn't match at all, they must have been taken a long time ago. Overgrown yards, power pack hanging from wall to PowerPoint. Tv played up. Beds uncomfortable. Ants everywhere. Table always sticky even after cleaning. Stovetop rusty elements under covers even after cleaning didn't trust to use it. Washing machine shook so much it felt like it was going to take off and incredibly noisy. Pillows falling apart even had some of one of the pillows under the bed. Backyard was completely overgrown. There was no way my kids would ever have used it in the state that it was in. They did use it on the first day, my son got a tick on him so we never went back into the yard afterwards. There is a vacant lot next door which is completely overgrown so that certainly didn't help with the look of the place. The bars on the windows did make the place feel a little bit safer. However, it was a little bit of a worry that they needed them at all. The beds were all hard as a rock. Thankfully it wasn't too cold because only 3 out of 4 beds had a blanket on them. The rest only had sheets with no other bedding supplied. Ants were all through the property. It was one of the things we noticed as soon as we walked in the ants walking up the wall. I actually had to go out and buy surface spray and spray the whole house as they were located in every room. The pictures of the bathroom make it look like a pretty chic bathroom, however the actual look of the bathroom is outdated shabby nothing like the photos. However it was probably the best room in the house. The couch in the photos that were supplied on Booking.com appears to be a nice looking couch. However when you get there there is sticky tape hanging off the bottom of it and one side of the back of it falls down all the time, so you have to constantly lift up the heavy cushion. There is one TV however Netflix does not work on it.
• Ben and Kylie (9/5): Great stay - Great older style house. Location was fantastic only a couple of streets from the water. House was comfortable and checkin was easy. Quiet location. Loved having a washer and dryer. Box airconditioner in the main bedroom but kept room very cool. Good air conditioning unit in the lounge room. Bathroom was quirky but lovely hot water. Stove was very old and would have loved some more larger saucepans . Two of the bedrooms were a little warm. With the windows open they were lovely and cool but unfortunately the screens didn’t lock so we didn’t want to leave it open of a night.
• Tara_j* (10/5): Great for the family - Convenient location, great for a family holiday. House is older so facilities are a little dated but otherwise good. Beds were comfortable and enough room for everyone. Toilet required multiple flushes but otherwise fine.
• Jodie (8/5): Family stay - It was nice and quiret and plenty of room trees for the kids to play in. The main bedroom smelt like dog pee bad and the bathroom 👎 and I cleaned the filter in dryer before using thank God I did it was bad it even had smoke buts in it.
