- Allan (10/5): It's the people that make it. - Fantastic staff (at the sister site HQ) and nothing was too much for the great people who work there. It was fun and memorable in so many ways.
Thanks for everything. The hangovers.
- Neil (10/5): Roslyn - Great staff, excellent breakfast, lovely staff Nothing
- l (3/5): Ok but would not recommend to anyone - Good location waitresses in the morning we're great No mirror in room had to purchase one couldn't dry hair or even see what wearing. Mould cobwebs in bathroom. No one to greet at check in.
- Andreas (8/5): Ich komme gerne wieder. -
- Catherine (10/5): -
- Murdoch Muir Smillie (8/5): Pleasant stay at the Rosslyn - Quiet room at the back of the accommodation.Decent sleep. Nothing everything was good.

- pauline (10/5): - We stayed in one of the rosslyns other guest house glan mona. Everything was lovely, clean, excellent staff, friendly. comfortable beds.and breakfast was lovely filled us up for the day. We had our breakfast at HQ. I would recommend this and would stay there again . Thank you. Just didn't have a plug for the bathroom sink. But we made do.

- Giacomo (10/5): Ci tornerei subito - Posizione eccezionale. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
- Zoltán (10/5): -
- Ian (10/5): Very pleasant... this was my second visit and I'll be back again. - Excellent choice of breakfast items both Continental and Full English.
Superb location just off the sea front with just a short walk either into Douglas or the Electric Railway.
Staff very friendly and accommodating.
Access to a lounge and microwave on the ground floor if required
Very nice area with tables and chairs outside on the front of the property
Access to HQ bar and restaurant if required Nothing to dislike.

- Judith (4/5): - Breakfast, location, staff were great
This is one of 3 BnB’s you have to go 2 doors down for check in and breakfast which was fine
Close to everything Douglas has to offer Room wasn’t as advertised on booking.com site , there were a few issues, staff dealt with accordingly
The entrance hall is not welcoming and smells damp, and needs updating as does the rooms, need to open some windows for fresh air.
- Dyson (7/5): Great for the price if you are a foot passenger and are OK with stairs. - Price If you have a disability, I wouldn't stay here even if it's just a dodgy leg. Lots of stairs. Nowhere to park, all the parking places around get taken up straight away. When someone switches the light on in their shower room next door or underneath, the associated fan is very loud until they switch it off.

- Stephen (8/5): Another great Douglas hotel... - Everything about the Rosslyn was very good; from the polite efficiency of its staff, to the spotless comfort of my room, to its location just off the promenade, to the quality and sheer abundance of daily breakfasts! I really enjoyed my time here and was sad when it was time to leave.
- Peter (6/5): Pleasant -
- Helen (8/5): 3 nights at the Rosslyn - The room was spotless and the breakfast was very good. Staff friendly and helpful. I would have liked a top sheet to sleep as the quilt was too hot. A full length mirror in the room would also have been nice.
- Sharon (9/5): Made to feel very welcome 🤗 - Location good, super friendly staff , breakfast was really good, on the whole value for money for our 3 night stay The only disappointment on arrival was the room decor looking really tired and didn’t feel fresh in the room, although bathroom was very clean. Having said that it was good value for money.
- Stuart (9/5): Colleagues have stayed here several years and enjoy the stay whilst working on the TT. - Great Breakfast. Rooms good. Location is good for working at Noble Park for the TT N/A
- Brian (7/5): Good - Breakfast was good. Separate lounge. Going to no.1 (Mereside) for meals. Small circular key to open doors.
- Chris (5/5): Just the room was disappointing. Everything else was great. - Great location. Excellent breakfast. Lovely staff. This was my 3rd stay. The other two times I had a lovely room. This time is wasn't very nice. It had a musty/moldy smell. Lack of wardrobe space for two people. Bathroom was fine.
- Knight (3/5): Very disappointing, will not return. - Cooked breakfast was fine. Room was small and cheaply furnished and not serviced every day. Dirty laundry left in the hall every day. Room walls were paper thin. Parking was on hilly streets and not always close. Had to go two doors away for breakfast.
- Lin (8/5): Very good -
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - Nicely placed easy to get to and great staff N/A
- Anne (8/5): Very good - The breakfast was great. It’s quiet and we had a very good night sleep. The room is not very modern but it’s very clean and comfortable.
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, great staff, and great food. Will be staying here again.
- Stuart (9/5): Superb -
- Ben (8/5): Kudos to the chef. - The breakfast was excellent. The dinner was phenomenal. The room was slightly small and basic.
- Emmerson (7/5): Good - very nice breakfast , location good ,
- Linda (9/5): Superb -
- Peadar (1/5): Bad -
- Debra (3/5): Don’t bother - Good sized bathroom Tea coffee etc not replenished
Bins not emptied
Check in 2 door away up more steps
No spoon for drinks
- Alan (9/5): Superb - Excellent accommodation and facilities
- Daisy (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (5/5): A cheaper option but some disadvantages - Reasonable value compared to the hotels on the prom but you pay for that. I got a double for a single price out of season and the ensuite was fine. The decor and furniture was a bit scruffy. You can use a sort of kitchen come lounge on the ground floor to prepare basic meals. I didn't have the meals on offer as breakfast seemed slightly pricey and I was off and out fairly early anyway. They are in an adjacent hotel. It is some way from the ferry and bus terminals because the prom is very long in Douglas. There aren't many (if any) eateries nearby and only one convenience store. You soon realise that all the shops, bars and food places are concentrated at the ferry port end of the prom. My small bedside torch went missing during my stay which was bit annoying although it wasn't an expensive item. The bar manager did track it down in a helpful manner and said it had been placed in lost property for some reason.
- S (8/5): Overall good - Breakfast was good Location doesn't have bus frequency
- Jeremy (9/5): Good - Clean, tidy, large room
- Sheena (10/5): Exceptional - Great location good choice at breakfast staff very attentive. They kept everything topped op well nothing was ahy bother. There was nothing I didn't like
- Gerald (10/5): Wonderful.5 Stars. - Mum and I found Angela,Ash,Celine,Erin,Ken,Nicky and Phil friendly and attentive.Owner Angela was very welcoming. The wind!!
- Toni (8/5): Very good - Great location to the sea-front, comfy bed and hot shower great breakfast Would be nice to know when booking that you collect key from 2 doors down, not a million miles away but was caught in a down pour soaking wet and would have preferred to go directly for key rather having to back track out into the rain again.
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Rick (8/5): Would stay again next time - The staff were great and nothing was too much trouble for them
- Joan (1/5): Lancashire Lady - Nothing!! Because didn't stay there was told I was staying in Sister Hotel Glen Moran down very Steep Hill had climb every morning to go for Breakfast
Did inform them b4 I booked couldn't Climb loads Stairs
Has I've got Disability with Walking haveing Lower Back Pain im OAP Lady in my 70s
Never mentioned that I wasn't staying at Rosslyn if had would have Cancelled gone to another Hotel in haveing Climb Hill and Stairs On Glen Mona Guest House very Steep Steps up to first floor to My Room
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional - The staff were fantastic and for the Price I would definitely go again!
Far better than any Premier Inn I've ever stayed at!
- Changundega (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): Couldn’t fault it, superb 👌 - Convenient location, really spacious and clean accommodation. Breakfast was also very good, lots of choice. Would definitely recommend. Nothing was great.
- Kirsty (10/5): Little gem! - From getting to the hotel the staff made us feel very welcome. The room was gorgeous and very clean. Really good quiet location not far from the shops and bars/restaurants and across the road from the sea. Bed and pillows were perfect. Honestly can't praise the place enough. The icing on the cake for me was the buffet breakfast. Piping hot and a great choice of hot items. Set us up for the day. Will definitely stay here again. If I had to be picky it would be access if you were disabled or needed a walking aid as steps up to front door and rooms with no lift. Not an issue for us but could be for others
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- Kirk (8/5): Good - Although slightly dated the hotel was very clean and the beds were extremley comfortable.
- Christopher (9/5): Superb - Superb breakfast and evening meals with a good menu and top notch quality at reasonable prices.
Nice clean room and very friendly staff. Intend to return next year Shower took a while to heat up but definitely a first world problem !very good value for money long weekend break.
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Les (8/5): Very good - great shower
instant hot water
friendly staff
good breakfast hauling my gear up to top floor whilst wearing motorcycle leathers
- Emil (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (9/5): Superb - The room was huge and spotlessly clean. It had the most amazingly comfortable bed. The breakfast was served 2 doors up. There was a good selection of decent quality food available and the staff were brilliant. The building is very old and has very little sound proofing. There were some inconsiderately noisy guests making a lot of noise early in the morning but this can't be helped.
- Frederick (6/5): Pleasant -
- Frederick (6/5): Pleasant - Very helpful
- Ian (10/5): Perfect I'll stay here again. - Very clean and nicely refurbished room. Very quiet and peaceful at the top of the house with great views of the ocean and Douglas town. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Nothing to dislike.
- Matthew (6/5): Functional place to stay - Useful lounge and kitchenette, with a small amount of basic crockery- enough to sort out your own breakfast. The Spar shop is close by. 1. The front door has a broken lock (which the management are aware of)
2. No fan or air con; so if you’re staying when it’s warm, it is sweaty
- Anthony (9/5): very relaxing. - Very friendly staff, food was excellent, Breakfast was the best. I think if you would have had any problems the hotel staff would have sorted it at an instant.
- Galek (8/5): Very good -
- Danny (9/5): Superb -
- Geraldine (7/5): Nice clean guest house - wifi needs extending to rooms - A nice guest house with bar and breakfast facilities in adjourning guest house.
Bonus of having a lounge with a kitchen including fridge and microwave.
Very clean. Wifi in the bedroom was inconsistent, so we had to work out of the lounge. This should be specified in the advert.
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly and helpful, enjoyed the stay
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (8/5): Very good -
- Lynne (9/5): A lovely clean hotel, excellent breakfast and good value for money. Would stay there again - Angie the waitress was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was beautiful and although breakfast was served next door, this was no hardship and worked well. Lovely hotel and recommended Being on the 3rd floor. Should have requested a room no higher than 1st floor but that was my fault. No other dislikes at all
- Oliver (8/5): Very good -
- John (7/5): good location ideal for Parkrun - Nobles parkrun 15 min walk
bed was comfy
location is close to seafront
breakfast was decent check in & breakfast was 2 doors down but not an issue.
- Philip (7/5): Comfortable and well priced for my short stay in Isle of Man - Room was Clean and tidy. Bed was comfy and warm. surroundings were quiet and WIFI was strong enough to allow me to watch some videos to unwind at the end of the day. Ensuite bathroom was spacious and clean, Shower had a good temperature and pressure was perfect.
- David (8/5): Bowling trip - Location was good. Breakfast excellent. What I didn't like was that 1 of our group had to stay in another sister hotel because of an over booking.
- The (4/5): disappointing and certainly not value for money at £52.50 pn. - location. bed. lounge. shower. not checking that facilities provided actually worked. faulty tv socket was rectified by plugging in elsewhere. no towels in my room so had to use two bath towels from the used/soiled basket in the hallway, they were replaced on the sunday, plug in the sink wouldn't lock in place wasting water. No top up of milk cartons on day 2 and a distinct aroma of fuel oil in wardrobe so didn't use.. Have emailed the property with no response.
- Matilda (10/5): Lovely spacious bedroom. Very comfortable. -
- Richard (9/5): Superb - Great location, friendly staff, tidy, clean rooms. Perfect for our work trip, we have used this hotel a few times now and will definatley be booking for next years trip
- Christine (5/5): Pleasant owner help with couple of minor issues promptly -
- Tom (8/5): Very good - Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, great price. Shower handle was broken (they fixed this during stay), and curtains fell off the rail due to a weak hook.
- Simon (5/5): Excellent staff , was a little dated and for the price I paid would have expected breakfast - Quiet location off the prom. Room smelled of damp, dirty windows ( outside ) , could do with some TLC
- Norman (8/5): Very good -
- Marah (8/5): Very good -
- Dee (1/5): Poor -
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Coffee (8/5): Very good -
- Doreen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alix (10/5): Lovely - Lovely stay, exceptionally friendly and welcoming, I had a great time and would definitely go back. Thank you! I liked everything :)
- Barry (8/5): Very good -
- William (10/5): Relaxing time will return next year - Enjoyed the breakfast Everything was fine
- Liz (8/5): Very nice enjoyed very much - The very helpful staff Was up a very steep hill
- Eddy (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (1/5): Bad - The location There was a strong smell of turps throughout the building that caused us nausea and headaches and the heating wouldn't turn off. Checked out after the 1st night and was told there was nothing they could do and the manager was not available. Also a polish woman from the next building on her phone shouting from 5am in the morning. Went on trip advisor to see the same complaints back in September.
- Aled (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- Lee (6/5): Pleasant - Very clean in our room Strong smell as we got near our room. Smelt like petrol. Couldn’t get WiFi in the room was constantly disconnecting and when connected only 1 bar
- Martin (9/5): Wonderfully welcoming hotel with nothing being too much effort. - Breakfast was very tasty and not at all greasy, myself and my son found it very tasty.
We particularly enjoyed the scrambled egg.
- Christina (10/5): Massive thank you to Ken for looking after us. True hospitality and very much appreciated. - The room was clean, comfortable and modern. Well located in the middle area of Douglas bay and walking distance to everything. Nothing.
- Terence (9/5): Great place to stay will go there again - a great hotel very friendly staff and very tasty breakfast only a minor problem but had trouble entering the hotel with my key I phoned the receptionist and they came straight away to sort it out
- Eric (10/5): Exceptional -
