Adamo (6/5): For the privacy and having it's own pool it was fine but it definitely needs upgrades done. - The house is in a nice quiet location (except for the birds) which is standard for most places on Magnetic Island .The pool is a lot smaller than than the photos suggest around 4 to 5 metres long , but it was still nice to have our own pool and it is a nice little private area out the back of the house to relax.The house itself is old and small which we thought would be the case but it was fine for us as we are a small family but I don't think it would be a great option for people with a few kids.It has a lot of character like stepping back in time but we kind of liked that vibe. The bathroom / toilet definitely needs an upgrade as it is in pretty poor condition especially the moving toilet.The septic tank could also use a pump out as when you are sitting out the back and someone is having a shower you can smell it but not for too long.The kitchen cupboards need a couple of small doors and the sink was leaking as well and it didn't have a fry pan but did have most utensils we needed.The double beds need an upgrade as well.
