• Azura (8/5): overall a good stay! - central location, cosy and nicely decorated; owners were very friendly and responsive. the mattress and pillows were too soft
• Suzanne (7/5): We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the property, hot tub great. - The location is perfect, very central and close to restaurants. The bottle of fizz & chocolates on arrival were a lovely touch. The hot tub was amazing especially after long walks. The downstairs of the property is very roomy with a large comfortable bed and a boutique style bathroom. The upstairs is quite small, with a compact kitchen. There is no dishwasher or microwave due to limited space. Previous reviews mentioned the temperature of the property however we found it very cosy and warm. The kitchen utensils ie saucepans and frying pans were in need of replacement. For the cost of the property I would have expected much higher standard. We chose not to use them. They were also limited plates, more would have been beneficial.

• Denise (7/5): good location and lovely bathroom. - Lovely bathroom and location and host was quick to respond to issues. Appreciated we could leave luggage for a few hours in a secure spot. Mattress is uncomfortable. Lights in lounge aren't bright enough to read by. It was nice having a hot tub but it's incredibly environmentally harmful to have it on 24/7. Heating water is so energy intensive with a high carbon footprint and it must cost a fortune. I try to walk lightly on the earth and found it wasteful to have lights on in outside area and hall on all day and night too. Better to be able to turn on the hot tub when needed and then turn off again.

• Markham (10/5): It was fabulous, didn't mind staying in the apartment more as it was raining a lot of the three days. - It's even more beautiful than in the photos and more spacious than what i thought it would be and it felt homely. :) Nothing..although It was very cold when I visited, so would've liked a bit of control over the heating or have it on a bit more. It seemed to warm up though the last two days of our three day stay.

• Natasha (9/5): - Good central location to base from. No parking included but there was on street parking opposite the house (1 hour stay, operational 9am-6pm). House was great for the two of us, large bed and enormous bathroom. Enjoyed the perks of having the hot tub and the cover made it usable even when it was pouring outside!

When we woke up the next morning there was a clear smell of damp in the lower floor. When we got home, all of our clothes that we didn’t wear were musty and needed cleaning.

It immediately felt welcoming and we loved the style throughout. The bathroom was exceptional. The mattress felt like it had seen better days.

• Daisy (9/5): Very relaxing - Absolutely fabulous will definitely be returning again! The bathroom is beautiful and it’s in such a perfect place. The only downside is the dog hairs all over the sofa and I’m allergic to dogs😬 I know it says dogs are allowed so I should have took my antihistamines with me so I’ll have to remember for next time we stay!
• Alexandra (10/5): Cosy, clean, perfect! - The host was easy to contact, very fast replies etc. Mulberry is in a fantastic location, a couple of minutes away from the train station. It was lovely and clean, everything was of a high standard inside. Bed was lovely and comfortable. Everything in there that you could need… hair dryer etc. Bathroom was another level, would love to move in for the bathroom alone. Kitchen and living room were great. Hot tub was an added bonus, they even leave robes for you to wear for when you’re going out to the hot tub which is a lovely touch. 10/10, already recommended to friends/family. Can’t wait to stay again. That we didn’t book for longer! Cant wait to return.

• Cai (9/5): Lovely apartment in a great location. - The Mulberry was lovely, in the heart of Windermere close to all shops,bars, restaurants. Ruth recommended local restaurants/cafe’s and walks for us after booking which was great. The apartment itself is spotless and check in / out was easy, the Hot Tub was great especially after all the walking we did with our 2 dogs. There is no private parking but parking was not a problem, your allowed park on the street overnight without charge and we had no problem with it, there is plenty of bays to park.

I would 1000% recommend to anyone staying in Windermere. The bathroom was divine and felt so luxurious, the comfiest beds and incredible kitchen /lounge area. We actually decided to cook dinner ourselves for the whole stay. Can’t fault this property at all.

The hot tub had good privacy. The location was perfect for what we wanted; had easy access to transport and local shops. The only downside was the mattress not being the best quality and the covering over the hot tub had a hole which leaked rainwater into the hot tub.

• Richard (9/5): Wonderful location and luxurious room to relax after days out exploring the lakes. - Located within walking distance of everything we needed. No Car Parking at the property but a long stay carpark was located just 5 minutes walk away which was fine. Mulberry had everything we needed, the kitchen was well equipped and the hot-tub was amazing. We loved the bathroom that was very special, the bed was very comfy and we'd highly recommend a stay at Mulberry should you be visiting the lakes. We had some rather noisy neighbours who could be heard upstairs and when we were outside they had their windows open and were quite loud so our private patio area didn't feel so private. This didn't really affect our stay though.

The hot tub is huge and really hot and bubbly! We had such a fantastic stay, thank you to the owners for everything. Everything about the apartment is perfect. It's not the owners' fault, but just be aware that you have to add money on for the pay and display parking (£20 for 3 days), so avoid taking 2 cars!

Amazing that, this apartment had a relaxing hot tub within its courtyard. So quietly snug and enchanting just to sit back and, enjoy. Great facilities and so rewarding. We have absolutely no complaints what so ever.

Located centrally in Windermere. No private car park however I was given instructions on a close car park where you can pay for a long stay.

Xx - Loved the layout of the apartment and the bathroom is officially my dream bathroom, the whole flat was beautifully designed and set out. Gorgeous interior and loved the bath products so much, went and bought some for myself. Thank you for such a comforting stay! The fact we never got to use the hot tub because of the short stay, only means we will have to revisit in future!

Was a bit on the expensive side - but we did have all the facilities we needed. Bonus was the hot tub. Had no control over the heating. Had to ring owner when it got too cold in the bedroom.

It’s a beautiful apartment, with everything that you need and the hot tub was amazing! It’s in the centre of Windermere, with the nearest restaurant 26 steps ( I counted) across the road. I’ve already shared this hidden gem with my family and friends and we will definitely book again.

If your used to piece and quiet when you go to bed, which I am, as I live in the country side then the traffic noise might be a bit annoying, but you are in the centre of Windermere.
