Kim (7/5): Good location for Minack and beach, poor check out experience. - Excellent location. Well appointed rooms. Check out experience very poor: asked to leave by 9am having cleaned and put away all kitchen items. This means on last day cannot breakfast at property as no time for dishwasher to complete cycle before we exited. Furthermore there is nowhere in. Porthcurno for breakfast before 10.30. Most places have check out at 10 and asked to set dishwasher off but it will be emptied by housekeeper during changeover. This was earliest any of us have been asked to check out of a self catering place- and we agreed we would not return despite excellent location.
Locke (8/5): Overall we all enjoyed our stay at Sundowner - N/A all self catering, but thanks for the welcome packs and lovely flowers. Whilst most of the rooms were a good size the double en suite was rather tight for space by comparison. It was also surprising that there was no door between bedroom and bathroom! Surely a narrow folding door might have been possible?
